Army Veteran Andrea Overend has served the US Army for 11 years. She joined at the early age of 16 essentially grew up in the Army. During her service, she went the finance route and then became a part of the 82nd Airborne Division. She always saw herself as a lifer, but she started other businesses and entrepreneurial endeavors as an alternate revenue stream later in her service. Her hunger for success has made her focus on her businesses and retire from service. Though she was financially stable when she got out of service, she still experienced challenges transitioning to civilian life.
