Today we meet retired United States Air Force Colonel Emily Farkas. Emily, who served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer, comes from humble beginnings as a small town girl from Michigan where she was an honors high school student with dreams of becoming a physician. While a student at Michigan State, grades became a struggle and she turned down an opportunity to become a Marine Corps Officer. However, when the Air Force called Emily answered in a big way.
