Ep 31: Fayette Hauser (Artist, Performer, Clothing Designer)
I talk to Fayette Hauser who was a founding member of the Cockettes and played a big role in almost every major counterculture movement from the 1960’s through 1970’s. We talk about such things on how the Cockettes started, the birth of the counterculture in the 60’s, meeting underground filmmaker Jack Smith, Divine’s and John Waters involvement with the Cockettes, and Fayette shares an amazing story involving weed, Vegas, and being bailed out of jail by Bette Midler.
