Stacey joins us today to talk about the virtue of a faithful woman.
With Father's Day coming up, we wanted to take a moment to focus on the virtuous father. There is not as clear of description as there is for women with Proverbs 31, but there are many examples of how men can be virtuous.
We're taking some time to discuss the impact virtue has had in the lives of the ones who have been practicing it for some time.
Beauty is all around us in nature. Are you looking?
Gratitude is important, but it should be a habit, not forced by those around us. Gratitude should be a habit and habit require regular use.
Discipleship does not have to be a big planned out event, but it does require intentionality. We should be seizing every opportunity to disciple our children, and that includes the time around the dinner table.
Sibling conflict is going to happen. It's important that when the conflict arises, that we are prepared to lead our children through the conflict.
How do we guide our children to choose their friends wisely? Do we push for our children to have specific friends or do we push them to be the friend they want to have to draw friendships in?
It can be hard when we set out to accomplish something and end up failing or the results don't quite turn out how we expected. How do we respond when things like this happen? How do our children respond? Adaptability is an important skill to have in life.
What is "Moral Imagination" and how does storytelling affect the development of moral imagination?
Today's topic is about the idea of finding times to educate during times of leisure. Academics is not just the time in a "classroom", but should be all around us.
The topic today is about raising self-governing and self-regulating children. To connect with us further, check us out at www.familiesofvirtue.com

How do we love our neighbor online? Why is this so important to our family?
What is the role of prayer in cultivating a virtuous family life?
In this episode of Virtuous Roots, hosts Thomas McCuddy, Thomas Quackenbush, and Nick Wiegand dive into the world of "TikTok theology" and the destructive power of "bumper sticker" mantras. The team explores how common social media slogans—like "You don't owe anyone anything" or "You are enough"—can subtly undermine Christian doctrine and family life by tapping into our natural desire for a self-centered lifestyle.

What does it actually look like to "train up a child in the way he should go"? In this episode, the team at Virtuous Roots moves beyond the abstract definition of a biblical worldview to discuss the practical, day-to-day work of instilling these values in our children. While biblical "data"—like memory verses and Bible drills—is a necessary foundation, it isn't enough on its own. A true biblical worldview must impact ho...
In a world filled with competing voices, how do you know if you are truly seeing things through a lens of faith? In the first of this two-part series, the Virtuous Roots team breaks down the essential nature of a "worldview"—the filter through which we determine what is good, true, and beautiful.
The conversation moves beyond simple labels to discuss the core tenets of Christianity, the attributes of God, and the vital role of...
