It describes how Barbarik's responses to stimuli and questions seemed mechanical, similar to a robot. The warrior Barbarik was a grandson of Bhima, the second Pandava brother, and the son of Ghatotkacha. He was a mighty warrior who learned the art of warfare from his mother, Ahilāvati. Lord Shiva gave him three infallible arrows. The encounter In the story, Barbarik encounters Shree Krishna during the Mahabharata war. Barbarik's responses to Shree Krishna's questions and stimuli astounded him, and presented him with a moral dilemma. Since then, Barbarik is worshipped in the name of Khaatu Shyamji and has become immortal. He enjoys the same divinity as Lord Krishna. His immortal head witnessed the entire battle of Mahabharata till the end and then later disappeared into oblivion. The promise Barbarik promised his guru, Vijay Sidh Sen, that he would always fight for the weaker side in battle and not use his arrows for personal glory.
