This week on the pod I  am  joined by Eric Batty! Eric is a dad to one, a photographer, an adventure athlete and an arborist. Eric is also the brother to Emily Batty, one of my favorite professional mountain bikers.

Eric and I have a great time talking about adventure, the balance of letting our kids learn by doing “dangerous” things, the power and importance of being a role model, our relationship with the environment, his job as an arborist, the joy and struggle of balancing exploring all life has to offer with all our responsibilities, the search for success and a lot more.

A big thanks to Eric for joining me for a great conversation! Please be sure to rate and review the show on

Join me on this podcast as I navigate the murky waters of human behavior, current events, and personal anecdotes through in-depth interviews with incredible people—all served with a generous helping of sarcasm and satire. After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
