SPEAKER_00 (00:22):
Hello, everybody, and welcome to today's episode
of Walk With Me.
I am your host, JJ.
It's so good to have each andevery one of you here.
Love each and every one of you.
So glad to see the new joinersand the new subscribers and
everybody who is partaking onthis walk with us with during
this Bible study.

(00:43):
I know it's a little bit late.
Normally, you guys will usuallysee the post um generally Friday
mornings, but this kind of latebecause we had a little bit of
an family issue.
And you know what?
God is good and God deliveredus.
Okay.
So y'all continue to keep us inprayer.
Uh, but we are moving rightalong.

(01:03):
Now, uh big shout out to oursponsors, two bars lyrices and
exquisite creations, uh, who'sthe tumblers, two bars with the
intro and the outro music.
He should be sending uh sendingme some more um intro music.
I'm not sure uh when that'sgonna happen because you know,
um artists are artists, and heis an artist, and sometimes good

(01:25):
things take a while.
But that being said, uh I I dothank God for him and his walk
with God and his family as theyare going through this life,
right?
Um now, if you're this is yourif you've just started listening
to this uh podcast, this is yourfirst or second or third uh

(01:45):
podcast, understand that theseseries of episodes today uh that
we're going through now uh areis in direct response to uh an
end time question.
And based on immediately, and II have to admit, I totally kind
of lost sight of what washappening.

(02:05):
I I had heard that there wassome sort of TikTok thing going
around that the rapture wassupposed to happen, and then it
didn't happen, and then that'swhen I really kind of found out
about it because people wereupset about it and all the
things they had done to quoteunquote prepare for the rapture,
and then the rapture didn'thappen.
And you know, the Bible doestalk about this.

(02:27):
So a couple of my listeners uhwere it sending me emails, and
one in particular said, Couldyou please explain the end time?
So um, this is literally thefourth episode of it, and if
you've listened to the lastthree episodes, you're you're
kind of probably wondering why Iam kind of going off in the
weeds here.

(02:47):
Like last week, we kind of gothung up on um the three Hebrew
boys.
I'd I suggest you go back andlisten to that because I don't
want to give it away.
But please understand that I'mnot generally just going off in
the weeds because these twothese things that we're talking
about has significant um impactson the end times.

(03:10):
And we started in the book ofDaniel because we have to do
Daniel before we get toRevelation, and we always want
to go to Revelation becauseeverybody everybody wants to go
to Revelation and say, hey, thisis the mark of the beast, and
this is the Antichrist, andthis, this, that, and the third,
but sometimes um, and there's alot of situations where God will

(03:33):
interweave prophecy throughoutthe rest of the Bible.
Why is that?
Because it teaches us that wehave to take the entire Bible,
not just Revelation, you know, and because our job as people
who are living for God is to besaved, is to is to escape hell,
right?
You're not gonna escape helljust knowing revelation is

(03:54):
backward and forward, becausethere's a reason why that you
know the people in Revelationare lost, and that's the other
65 books.
So, that being said, we're gonnaget right back into it.
Now, we were talking last weekabout Ananiah, Michelle,
Nazariah.

(04:14):
Now, you guys may not know whothat is.
If you don't, go listen to thelast episode.

So, but here's the thing (04:19):
this whole scenario, and a lot of
people, and this is where Istart kind of bringing it to
where we have to understand thatDaniel, the book of Daniel, and
the book of Revelation aresister books, not in where they
were placed, but what theirintention was and and their

(04:42):
symbolisms were, and God wasvery intentional about the
symbolization that he was using.
For instance, we look at youknow Nebuchadnezzar.
If you have been around anyonewho studied the Bible a lot,
they will use a term called thetype and shadow.
Now, and a type in shadow meansa type means a kind of a um an

(05:07):
image, but not quite, but moreof a prophetical interpretation
of what it was, or a shadow iskind of a a precognition of what
the concept is.
What are you talking about, JJ?
For instance, in the OldTestament, the children of
Israel is the type and shadow ofthe church today.

(05:30):
Daniel is the book of Daniel, isthe type and shadow of
Revelation.
Um, some things that were saidabout Jesus was foretold and and
forecast and foreshadowed in theold testament.
So when you look atNebuchadnezzar, he was that type

(05:51):
of man, which is a which is aman of sin, which is which is
still going to be revealed.
We don't know who that is yet.
And when it when it happens,it's gonna happen fast.
And a lot of us, we have ourideas of what who that person
may be.
Like I have some ideas, itdoesn't make sense to have put
those ideas out there becausewhat happens is somebody puts up

(06:14):
on an idea like that and theyrun off with it and they create
an entire uh end-time prophecything, and next thing you know,
somebody's selling all thethings and giving their kids
away.
No, no, I'm not exaggerating.
This really happened.
But Nebuchadnezzar, if you lookat um Nebuchadnezzar in the book

(06:34):
of Daniel and understand thathe's the type of man, what's
what would be called the man ofsin that we see like the second
revel uh second Thessalonians 2and 3 and Revelation 13, it
starts to make sense.
Just for the sake of time, we'renot gonna read those scriptures
because we have are trying topick up the pace a little bit
without leaving anything out.
It's very important that wedon't leave anything out because

(06:57):
you can't get from here toChicago without pulling out of
your driveway.
I hope that makes sense.
Now, the image, um, this thisbeast sort of situation that
that you hear about inRevelation, like Revelation 13,
14, you you're going to see atype of Nebuchadnezzar in that,

(07:17):
and we're gonna get over, we'regonna get into that.
Also, um, what you will see inDaniel is the number six.
This is what we call the numberof man, and in Revelation, it
refers to the number of thebeast as 666.
I read where a scholar haswritten that six is a bad number

(07:39):
when multiplied by tens andhundreds, but it denotes evil in
its greatest intensity and mostdisastrous manifestation.
What does that mean?
Because 666, when you multiplythe six by six and ten, and then
six by a hundred, it means sixhundred and six, which is

(08:00):
allegedly the damn the devil'snumber.
And I say allegedly because theBible says it, but we don't
really know what that numbermeans.
We used to get these tracks ofpeople walking around with three
sixes on their forehead, but wedon't know.
We don't know what that numberis.
But what it is, it will be anumber that is specific to men.
Like I said, I have my theoriesright now.

(08:20):
I'm just gonna deal with the thebiblical interpretation, and
when I do give my opinion, Iwill be sure to let you know it
is my opinion.
Okay, now these three threeHebrew boys that we were just
talking about, they're a type ofone, the nation of Israel that

(08:41):
was brought through uh fires ofpersecution, b 144,000 that's
gonna be sealed during thetribulation, the tribulation,
see Revelation 7.
And I I try not to get ahead ofmyself because every everybody
thinks that they're gonna be apart of the 144,000.
That is not true.
Remember, the Hebrew young manwas a type of the 144,000 seal,

(09:07):
was a type of the 144,000 seal.
All right, moving right along.
See the testimony of deliverancethat shall be given during the
tribulation.
There will be people that willbe delivered during the
tribulation.
So, and we we we're gonna wrap,we're gonna come back to that,
but we want to talk about somethings because this is a very

(09:29):
practical situation.
Um, the next thing in Daniel wesee when we go through Daniel is
Daniel chapter six, andeverybody knows that story.
Daniel chapter six.
Daniel and the lion's dead, andand Daniel with made the king

(09:49):
mad, and then and then and thenDaniel got thrown into the
lion's den, and then the lionsuddenly wasn't hungry anymore,
and then the people who lied onDaniel was thrown into the
lion's den, and he they goteaten up before they even hit
the ground.
You everybody knows that story.
But what if I told you thatthere's something else hidden,
not so much hidden, but there'sa there's a type and shadow in

(10:13):
that as well that actually leadsyou to revelation.
Let's go over the story by now.
King Darius, I mean, King uhNebuchadnezzar is gone, his son
gone.
Now we have King Darius.
Remember now, Daniel is still incaptivity, he is still in
captivity, he has not beendelivered from captivity yet,

(10:35):
and that's the sermon we'reprobably gonna speak on next
Sunday.
But Darius placed 120 princesover his kingdom, and Daniel was
the first president of thoseprinces.
So this literally made Danielsecond in command in the
kingdom, a captive slave, secondin command.

(10:57):
Now, that is actually atestimony of God's grace, and I
know some people look at itlike, well, Daniel was still a
slave, so what does that mean?
He was still the most secondmost powerful man in the
country, and he gotten that wayby serving God truthfully and

(11:18):
100 and 100, putting his fleshaside, putting away his
feelings, and serving God theway he was supposed to serve
him.
And now, this has been like 72years under these heathen kings.
Daniel had served God the wayGod told him to serve the kings,
however, because of his completededication to God, and this is

(11:42):
where it gets very importantthat we all don't miss because
of Daniel's complete dedicationto God, he was continually
elevated and promoted.
Now, we're looking at Daniel,he's probably about 90, I would
say about 90, between 86 and 90years old, if you if you do the

(12:03):
math, right?
There were some rivals who wasreally upset that Daniel was in
charge of them over them becauseafter all, Daniel was still a
captive slave.
So, how you got a captive slaveover us?
So, what they did was theytricked King Darius into signing
a law, and I'm paraphrasing itnow, is that no god could be

(12:23):
worshipped except the king.
Yet Daniel continued to do whathe was supposed to do, and to
the regret of the king, remembernow, Darius did not want to
throw Daniel into the lion'sden.
But because he made the law anddidn't think that law through,
and there's another sermon,we'll leave it alone.
But because Darius made thatlaw, didn't think that law

(12:44):
through, Daniel was thrown intothe king of into the lion's den.
The following morning, Dariusrose up and he was very scared.
He did not want Daniel to bekilled, and then when Daniel
answered him, Darius was likesuper happy, and I'm really
paraphrasing.

(13:05):
But then Daniel or Darius cancommanded Daniel's accusers,
their wives and their childrento be uh brought and cast to the
dam.
I bet you didn't know that, didyou?
Very all very often, and this isto you men out there that are
listening to this podcast, very, very, very, very often, and I

(13:26):
mean almost 100% of the time, when men messed up, not only did
they mess up, but their wivespaid for it, they paid for it,
their wives paid for it, andtheir children paid for it.
And this is both by by godlydecree and pagan decree.

(13:47):
This is always this was almostalways the case.
So when we go through life, young men, young man, old man,
it doesn't matter.
When we go through our lives, wehave to make sure we live our
lives as according to the wordof God.

(14:08):
We cannot allow ourselves andour wives and our children to be
in trouble because of somethingthat we did.
So, back to this back to theBible study, right?
Remember now, Daniel's prayerlife is very critical at this
point in the lesson, at thispoint in um in this whole

(14:30):
prophecy story, Daniel's life isvery critical.
It is a focal point, it isabsolute, and it's something I
have to work on.
And I hope somebody else is outthere saying the same thing.
But we have to work, keep ourprayer lives tight.
Now, and the reason why this wasthe case, because this is what
caused the accusers to know thatthey were going to get Daniel

(14:52):
thrown into the lion's den.
Because they knew Daniel wasgoing to pray every single day,
exactly the way he didyesterday.
This Daniel did not have what weChristians do today.
Daniel did not have a hiddenreligion, he didn't have a
hidden faith, he didn't have auh let me let me just go along

(15:14):
to get along kind of faith.
He was upfront and open andvocal about his walk with God.
And he had an attitude, he had aplace, he had an objective, he
had a habit, he had regulartimes a day.
That's why they knew where toget him.
Now, that actually teaches usthat there's a life of faithful

(15:36):
dedication and and and life ofprayer and life of faith, and
all these things are taught tous, right?
So now it's possible, it ispossible, and I know people like
to say, Oh, you know, that'sBible times, but it is possible
today to have a testimony likeDaniel, because this is why
Daniel got elevated the way hedid, and now that's not to say

(15:59):
that no one else had these kindof prayer lives, but Daniel was
the prophet, so Daniel had tokeep it 100% all the time.
So now I would say in Daniel 6and 23, Daniel was delivered
because he believed in his God,he believed in his God, which

(16:20):
means he didn't just believe inhis God, like we were talking a
few episodes ago before thisseries.
We were talking about believingon the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you believe in the Lord JesusChrist, you're gonna do what
Jesus Christ says.
If you believe on God, you'regonna do what God says.
And literally, I just repeatedmyself there, and a lot of
people won't catch that.

(16:41):
I just repeated myself.
But remember now, Darius haddemanded that he had be
worshiped, he demanded that wasthe law.
And when you in those days, kings were worshipped like gods,
they were they they made allkind of folklore about them.
Oh, that that God was created, and and they were literally

(17:04):
foreshadowing themselves asJesus.
And this is what the devil wastrying to get us to do was try
to look at kings as gods.
He demanded worship, he demandedhomage, he demanded prayer.
Now, this is where we get thetype of the antichrist.
Notice before we talked aboutNebuchadnezzar being the beast.
Darius is the type and shadow ofthe Antichrist.

(17:28):
He's gonna demand these things,he's gonna demand worship, he's
gonna demand you pay homage, because he's gonna demand that
you pray to him and things thathe does.
So anybody else running aroundtalking about this is the
antichrist and that's theantichrist, and that person is
not doing this, it's not theantichrist.
Or at least at least it ain'tthe antichrist yet, because the

(17:50):
antichrist is going to be madethe antichrist.
So if that person is notdemanding a thing, it's not the
not the antichrist.
So just put that in in the pipeand smoke it.
All right, now Daniel beingpreserved in the lion's den is
the type of the 144,000 say thatwe just mentioned.

(18:12):
Now, I for that I would say readRevelation 7, 1 through 4, and
then 14, 1 through 5.
Again, because of the time, which I don't want to go read it
right now, but I I I beg you toread this.
And then if you have questions, you can email me questions based
on what you read.
Now, those enemies that that getdestroyed are going to be like

(18:36):
like the uh like the ones whofalsely accused Daniel.
Those are going to be like atype of shadow of the judgment
of God falling down on comingdown on the godless nations that
are still gonna be here at theclose of the tribulation at
Armageddon during the during thetribulation, during the great
tribulation.
Um, people are going, there area lot of people that are going

(18:58):
to be lost simply because theyrejected the word of God.
You know, I have to think aboutit like this because Daniel, the
way these guys knew that Danielwas going to pray, because they
had already seen Daniel praying.
I don't doubt that they actuallyspoke to Daniel about praying
and and how to do the rightthing, and they rejected it.

(19:20):
And so now, because of theirrejection, the same delivering
power that Daniel got, thosethree accusers and their
families did not got rejectedfrom being saved too.
All right, now let me check thetime here.
Okay, good.
I have enough time to at leastget into this, and I I again I I

(19:41):
thank you for your patience andme laying all this groundwork
out.
And it's kind of like if youever see anybody build a home
from scratch and kind of dig outthe foundation, and then they
put the blocks in.
We're gonna start putting someof the blocks in, okay.
Now, we're gonna go back toDaniel chapter two, and now
we're gonna start doing somereading, all right.

(20:04):
Daniel chapter two is what wecall the basics of prophecy,
like um, like just likerevelations could be called the
the advanced level of prophecy.
In this chapter two of Daniel,God revealed this outline of
history from Daniel's day untilthe second coming of Jesus
Christ to establishing hismillennial kingdom.

(20:26):
He does he literally laid it outto us, and we read over it and
we kind of forget about it, wekind of miss it.
Now, we should not, we shouldnot continue with trying to
understand prophecy until wecompletely understand Daniel

(20:46):
chapter 2.
Why is that?
And I'll tell you why.
There was a a um a propheticdream that Nebuchadnezzar
couldn't even remember, right?
Nebuchadnezzar had this dream, and there was a an unexpressed

(21:09):
desire that Nebuchadnezzar umwanted to show that his empire
would last into the future, farinto the future.
So God gave him a dream thatfurnished this revelation of the
rise, progress, and then fall ofthe Gentile world powers.
Basically, God was tellingNebuchadnezzar that his his

(21:31):
dream of a an eternal uh kingdomwas just foolish.
Um, now if you look at Lukechapter 21 and 24, you will hear
that same period described in byChrist as the time of the
Gentile.
Now, when that king woke up,when King Nebuchadnezzar woke

(21:53):
up, he was deeply troubled.
He couldn't remember the dream, but he knew it was important.
You ever had those dreams whereyou you knew something important
was going on, but you couldn'tremember the details, or you
couldn't remember it all.
Well, it was so disturbed, sodisturbing to him, and he woke
up in such a spiritual anguishthat um he was determined to

(22:15):
find out what that dream saidand how it was going to be
interpreted.
So he called the the wise man,and he then here's what they
did, which was really which Imean I would have fallen for
this too if I was a fake wiseman.
So he called for the wise man,and they asked, they said, Hey

(22:37):
man, uh if you if you tell methe dream, I can interpret it
for you.
Now that actually madeNebuchadnezzar mad because it it
kind of introduced the idea thatthere was a weakness in
Nebuchadnezzar.
There was a weakness in the factthat he couldn't remember the
dream that he had just had.
So what he did was he kind ofgaslit the uh the wise man, and

(23:02):
because he was the king, thatthat why that gaslighting was
was effective.
So what he did was he he calledhe called them um liars and and
accused them all of telling uhuh gaslighting.
He basically gaslit thegaslighters, so to speak.
So he said, if you don't tell methe dream, I'm gonna have

(23:24):
everybody killed, and um, andthen I'm gonna have your houses
burned down again.
You're you're gonna die, yourfamily gonna die, your house is
gonna be turned into poop pills.
That's I said it poop pills,right?
So he that's how I rateNebuchadnezzar was so uh, of
course, these wise men, theseastrologists, um, were were

(23:49):
unable to even tellNebuchadnezzar what the dream
was, and so he started havingthem killed.
And it was because Daniel waslisted among the wise men,
Daniel was about to get killedtoo.
So um Daniel said, Hey man, sowhy are y'all about to kill me?
So he said, Well, you know,Nebuchadnezzar's mad at all the

(24:12):
wise men because none of thewise men can tell him the dream.
So Daniel said, Hey man, take meup to see Nebuchadnezzar and
we'll we'll talk about it.
Hey man, I'm not messing, I'mnot gonna take you to the king.
Are you crazy?
He's already killing you.
You hear all the screaming, he'salready killing the wise man.
Listen, I'm telling you, take meup there, and then you know,
I'll I'll take it, I'll takecare of it, basically.

(24:35):
So he was able to he was able toconfidently go before
Nebuchadnezzar because uh Danielhad assured the king that he'd
be able to reveal the dream athis meeting and what it meant.
Knowing why, because he knew thepower of united prayer.

(24:58):
The Shadrach, the Meshach, theBetnikos, as you know know them,
but they were Ananiah, Azariah,Mishael.
He rather gathered all themtogether and they all started
praying.
God revealed unto us this dreamso we could show you your glory,
not for my glory, but for yourglory, right?
So Daniel came back and he said,Nebuchadnezzar, I will tell you

(25:23):
the dream.
And on this note, we will end ithere.
I know that's a greatcliffhanger, right?
But if you've been reading theBible, you probably know the
dream already.
But we're gonna talk about thatdream.
We're gonna open up with thatdream next week and explain how
it ties into end-time prophecy.
Both and and we remember wetalked about uh how there are

(25:43):
some prophecies that arecontinually fulfilling, and some
of them are fulfilled once, andthen that's it.
This dream is going to go intothat, and we're gonna talk about
that next week.
So, thank you all so much forliking and sharing, and thank
you for those who are on iHeartto my YouTube channel, and those
