And you know what, I stilldidn't get the name of that
other sponsor.
Sometimes I just I got to getbetter at that, I know.
(00:45):
And you know what, I stilldidn't get the name of that
other sponsor.
Sometimes I just I, I gotta getbetter at that, I don't.
But, uh, I I do see what you'redoing.

Just the mere fact that thereare people listening just kind
of whenever you're tired justkind of get the strength to go
on right.
Thank you all, thank you, thankyou, I love you all.
And speaking of interaction, wehad an email and the email and,
(01:32):
just in case, before I forget, the email address is walk with
me bible study at gmailcom.
Walk with me bible study atgmail.
And we were talking aboutoneness last week and so the big
thing I guess, uh, one one ofthe questions that came out of
(01:52):
that and, trust me, I lovequestions.
Okay, that means that means ithelps me just as much as it
helps you.
Don't be afraid to ask biblicalquestions.
So that really means that oneof the big questions that we
have is that what was Jesus' orwhat was God's name?
What is God's name?
(02:13):
Or how did they?
Who is God basically?
And it's kind of difficult toanswer in one or two verses
because there's such a pattern.
When you study in the Word ofGod, you've got to kind of
understand there's a pattern tothings and there's a reason why
(02:33):
there's a pattern, because Godordained it to be so.
And if God ordained it to be so, he didn't just do it because
you know, he had an attitude oneday and he decided to make it a
pattern.
He did it for a reason, and sowe're going to talk about that
and then, hopefully, thisexplains why that question.
(02:54):
Even though you thought itsounded a little weird, it's not
weird at all, because peoplehave had that question and
because they didn't have theanswer, they created false
doctrine around it.
Oh, the reason why I'm sayingI'm speaking like this Is
because the person who sent methe email Did not put their name
in a subject line, so I don'tleave it as or I actually use it
(03:17):
as an anonymous question.
So if you have any questionsand you want your name to be
mentioned, go ahead and put yourname in the subject line so
that I know I can address youopenly.
Otherwise, I'm going to use itlike this, like this anonymous
question.
So let's get right into it,because we're going to talk.
(03:38):
We have a lot to cover today.
And one other rule before weget started I'm going to cover a
lot of scripture, a lot ofverses, today, because I want to
lay down the patternspecifically, and that invokes
the rule of this podcast, andthat invokes the rule of this
(04:02):
podcast.
We can listen into this podcast.
We deal with the scripture.
The rule is to read a verse ortwo above the scripture that
we're talking about, all the waydown to a verse or two below
the scripture we are talkingabout, but preferably the whole
chapter.
Why is that important?
Because context is key.
(04:23):
We are going to kind ofdismantle some things now today,
but the reason why these thingshave to be dismantled is
because people are taking thingsout of context and building an
entire doctrine around it andthe word of God becomes
ineffective because it's not howGod was saying it, right.
(04:46):
So, with that being said, let'sget into it.
So please understand that inthe Old Testament, when we're
talking about the Old Testament, the name, the actual name of
God, god treated it as a secretin the Old Testament.
Now, there are a lot ofscriptures that suggest this,
(05:09):
but it really was, because whenthe man sinned, he actually
separated himself from the nameof God and the power of God.
So that's why that separationwas so important, because,
remember, in Genesis God andAdam walked together, so they
(05:31):
were talking like friends, butthat sin separated them and
therefore the name of God gotlost.
Well, not lost to God, lost toman.
Now I'm going to fire off somescripture real quick.
Judges 13 and 17.
And Manoah said unto the angelof the Lord what is thy name?
(05:54):
You're going to see a lot ofsituations in the Old Testament
where this happens.
And Jacob asked them in Genesis32, 29, tell me your name.
Exodus 3 and 13,.
They shall say to me what is hisname.
(06:16):
This is Moses talking to God,because he knows that when he
goes back to Egypt, all Egypt, god's angels throwing their
names out randomly, becausethose names had no power, but
they knew that names did havepower.
So they were going to ask Moseswhat's the name of God?
Proverbs 30 and 4.
(06:38):
What is his name and what ishis son's name?
Isaiah 52.6.
Therefore, my people shall knowmy name.
The name is very powerful andthe name itself is what will
carry that power.
It's just the same way yourname, your good name as a person
(07:01):
, will carry your legacy.
There was a dispensation, thisfirst dispensation in the Old
Testament that was very devoidof people having the name of God
.
So what generally started tohappen was they began to create
(07:24):
a name for God, and we'll seethings like El Shaddai, el Nishi
, and what this means is God ismy provider, god is my salvation
.
Remember the word God is not aname.
The word God is not salvation.
Remember the word God is not aname, the word God is a title.
And these are names.
(07:44):
These cell names are basicallyduties that God has done in
people's lives.
So if you were being deliveredby God, then the name that you
would give him in the Hebrewtongue would be God delivered me
(08:05):
.
God provided you bread.
God provided me.
You know, god healed me.
God healed me.
That would be the name that youwould assign to God, because
that was what he did.
That's what he did, but that isnot who he was.
So think of it like we talkedabout before.
(08:30):
I write a checkbook, scratch myname off of it, write $100
million and give it to you andtell until you go down and chase
bank, and then they say, well, who wrote this account?
Whose account is this name on?
They're not going to cash it,so it must carry the name.
(08:50):
The power of that business isin the name.
Now, at one time it does kindof refer to Jesus as the Father,
pastor and Teacher.
But please understand, thoseare all titles too.
(09:11):
The reason why they'recapitalized, though, because I
can almost hear the questioncoming to your mind that why is
it capitalized?
Proper noun, because it wasrecognizing the deity and
separating that deity fromhumanity.
So if you said, for instance, father with a capital F, that
(09:32):
means the heavenly father, whether as a father with a
lowercase f, that means fatherhere, and this doesn't.
This even still excludes thewhole use of the term father, as
in hey, father, can I go to thestore and get some milk?
(09:53):
That's using it as a name, butthat's still the title.
That's using it as a name, butthat's still the title.
Now, there is a time when thename was actually revealed.
There's some time, there's someplace in the Old Testament it
was revealed, but the realrevelation of Jesus was not
revealed in the New Testament, matthew 1 and 21.
(10:15):
And thou shalt call his nameJesus, for he shall save his
people From their sins.
Whose people Remember?
Now, this is not At this time.
Salvation wasn't for theGentiles, it was for the Jews.
So whose people are we talkingabout?
Okay, the Jews?
Whose people?
I'm sorry, who did the Jewsbelong to?
(10:38):
God said those were his people.
So therefore, we're talkingabout Jesus saving his people
from their sins, god saving hispeople from their sins.
So Jesus is God, I know, andwe're just going to move fast on
this because we have a lot tocover.
So when we say Jesus, weunderstand that that name over
(11:02):
saved and it is actually areincarnation of that, or a
greek incarnation of that nameof jehovah J-E.
God, jehovah with us.
In the New Testament, god J-ES-U-S saves, jehovah, god with
(11:29):
us.
Jesus, god saves.
So now let's look at all theother times when Jesus actually
confirmed this and again we'regoing to go fast.
Remember the rule verses 2 aboveand verses 2 below.
I have come in my Father's name.
John 5, verse 40.
He's telling you right now I'mcoming in my Father's name, not
(11:51):
in my name.
In my Father's name, the worksI do, I do in my Father's name.
Whose name Jehovah's name?
If I'm doing it in Je Father'sname, whose name Jehovah's name?
If I'm doing it in Jehovah'sname, then I am Jehovah, which
is why it's very, very, very, very and this is a sidebar, I'm
off my nose why it's very, veryimportant you do not try to take
(12:12):
the name of God unto yourself, and we'll talk about that maybe
in another.
Somebody send me a questionabout that because I don't want
to get off into the weeds on it.
I have declared them unto myname.
John 17 and 26.
Thy name, I have declared themunto thy name.
Who art thou?
Now this one here, acts 9 and 5.
(12:33):
This one is very telling.
Who art thou, jehovah, lord?
Well, actually it doesn't sayJehovah.
I just threw that in there.
Who art thou, lord?
And the Lord said I am Jesus.
Now, wait a minute.
This is Paul talking to God, andthe reason why Paul is talking
(12:54):
to God is because God has saidwhy are you persecuting me Now?
Paul knew right away he wastalking to God.
He was talking to what hethought was Jehovah, which is
Jehovah, but he thought Jehovahand Jesus were two separate
individuals.
So God had to straighten himout on that.
(13:16):
I am Jesus.
Who you are persecuting?
I am Jesus, and we talked aboutit before and I meant to do a
session on the I am part, because it's the I am that
really set people off in the NewTestament For some reason, when
they knew, when Jesus said I am, they knew he was claiming to
(13:39):
be God and that goes back intowhat Moses had a little
discussion with God.
God said tell them that I amsent and that's a whole.
That's.
Yeah, we got to somebody sendme a question on that.
I remember to do it.
Even Jesus has sent the Lord.
(14:01):
Even Jesus has sent me the Lord.
Even Jesus has sent me Acts 9and 17.
Even calling upon God, sayingLord Jesus, acts 7 and 59.
For if Jesus had given themrest?
Now, this is Hebrews 4 and 8.
And this is referring to Godand the Israelites.
I, jesus, have sent my angel totestify unto you, and this is
(14:28):
Revelation 22.
So, again, that's a lot ofverses.
Remember, I said I was going tocover a lot of verses, so this
really involves a lot of studythat I'm going to need you to do
on your own Only because I wantto lay that entire groundwork
that, all the way through theBible, that God always refers to
(14:49):
himself as one being Now.
So what about?
I know we talked about itbefore, but what about 2819, jj?
Okay, yep, you got it Baptizingthem in the name of the Father
and the Son of the Holy Ghost, matthew 28, 19.
Here's the problem.
(15:10):
Remember, we talked aboutearlier capitalization of a
common noun.
That's exactly what this is.
But if we look carefully, thatit says the name singular, not
the names of it's name.
(15:31):
Singular, not names.
No S on that word name.
If it was names, then you wouldhave the names of the father,
the names of the son and thenames of the holy ghost, but
that's not the case.
It's only one.
Now the word is singular.
So the only way to search thescripture and find out in what
name is to find out how theapostles got by, because every
(15:55):
single one of those apostles whowas standing there on that
mountaintop got the same greatcommission.
And then, when Paul later camealong, he got the same
commission from the apostlesthat were standing up there with
Jesus and they all did onething in common.
Well, they all preached.
(16:16):
Yes, they also baptized inJesus' name.
He wants good proof.
We got the receipt Luke 24, 47.
Okay, so this was another partof the Great Commission.
Repentance and remission of sinsshould be preached in His name,
(16:36):
not their name.
His name Among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
So let's go and find out.
Acts 2, 38.
Baptizing in the name of JesusChrist.
This is where that sins wereremitted.
This is why using that name tohave your sins remitted is so
(16:58):
important because it's the namethat remits the sin, the blood
that washes it away Acts 8 and12.
Preaching the name of JesusChrist Acts 16.
Baptizing in the name of theLord Jesus Acts 22 and 16.
(17:19):
Baptizing in the name of ourLord Sing it.
Acts 10 and 48.
Baptizing in the name of theLord Now, these are just the
first one was in Jerusalem, andthen you had Samaria and you had
Paul.
Paul was baptizing in Acts22-16.
Baptizing in the name of theLord.
He's using the singular titlethere too.
(17:40):
Caesarea Acts 10 and 48.
Baptizing in the name singularof our Lord, which is Jesus
Christ.
In Ephesus, acts 19, 1 through6,.
Here they were baptized in thename of the Lord Jesus.
In Corinthians, 1 Corinthians,9, 1 and 13,.
Under whose name were theybaptized?
(18:01):
Again, a singular.
Again, the scripture is layingout time and time again that
it's the name of the Father, theSon and the Holy Ghost is Jesus
.
It's like the name of this host, this employee, this uncle is
(18:22):
named JJ.
It is all titles of the thingsI'm doing at that particular
time, but my name is not thosetitles.
The name is JJ.
So in this case the name isJesus.
Now, it's very, very, veryimportant that we even though I
covered a lot of things todayit's important to understand why
(18:44):
it is important to use thatname, and I'm using that word
important a lot because it iseasy to kind of brush it off,
because, you know, we weretaught and I I can't knock that.
I can't knock that because Igrew up the same way, I actually
believe the same thing anduntil I think I remember I was
(19:07):
actually about to take catechismand I was like well, is it?
And I asked somebody a question, it kind of looked at me crazy.
I said which part of the worlddoes Jesus walk over?
They said what I said well, ifthe Father watches over the
world and the Holy Ghost watchesover the world and the Son
(19:28):
watches over the world and theHoly Ghost watches over the
world and the Son watches overthe world and the Son is Jesus,
like, do they take turnswatching over a different part
of the world?
Because why would you pray toall three of them?
And they looked at me like well, I don't know.
So that's what actually startedmy question into you know, know
(19:50):
, trinitarian doctrine.
And then it was.
Then you introduced you know, mary into the subject and I hate
to get so specific.
But then I'm like okay, soyou're praying to mary, to pray
to jesus, to get the Holy Ghostto convince the Father to do
something.
That's a lot.
Why can't you just pray to theFather?
(20:12):
But when you put all of ittogether, when you really read
the Word of God, and you seethat these are one being, one
individual being not Mary Maryis a human, but Jesus, the Son.
The Father, the Son and theHoly Ghost is one person.
(20:35):
Oh yeah, that reminds me of thesecond question.
I said what's the name of theHoly Ghost?
They went Holy Ghost.
I said no, the Son is namedJesus.
The Father's name is Jehovah.
What's the name of the HolyGhost?
And so we used to run aroundcalling the Holy Ghost God.
We didn't know what his namewas.
I know this sounds kind ofridiculous now, but this was
(20:56):
really what started our kind ofrevelation into the fact that
the Holy Ghost was very powerful.
And if that's the case, thenthe Holy Ghost had to be God.
Because God said there's noother beside me.
If I am the beginning and theend and there's no other beside
(21:19):
me not beside us, but besides me.
Then this other guy saying hey,all power and authority is
given unto me, then that means Ihave no power.
I have no authority.
And Jesus clearly said allpower is given unto me.
So if he wasn't God manifestingthe flesh and the God sitting
(21:43):
up in the clouds with the box oflightning bolts by his desk, he
had no power.
Up in the clouds with thelightning box, the lightning
bolt by his desk, had no power.
So it's time that we kind offigure out and break these
traditional, erroneous doctrine.
And then that's the only way toreally put it, and I, I get it.
I get it.
I know some very, very, very, very kind people who think these
(22:09):
things and there's nothingagainst them.
It's just that you were taughtthis, but the Bible does not
support this teaching and I wishI could love on you a little
more.
But the Bible does not supportit.
This way, and once you reallyrealize and embrace the
(22:30):
revelation that one God, andthat God's name is Jesus man,
things will start opening, things will start getting
revealed to you out of the Biblethat are just amazing.
That's how you get the HolyGhost believe it or not.
I mean, that's how I believeLike I've never I've seen people
who are claiming to get theHoly Ghost I mean, that's how I
believe like I've never I'veseen people who are claiming to
(22:51):
have the Holy Ghost and claimingto be Trinitarian at the same
time.
So I say, well, you have onlyone third of the God so and it
leads to so much confusion.
God is not a God of confusion.
He's not so.
If God is not a God ofconfusion, he's not so if God is
not the God of confusion.
(23:12):
And yet this doctrine createsconfusion.
Where does that doctrine comefrom?
Yep, and that's why it'simportant to really study the
Word of God, and that's why I'mglad we get together every
Friday.
Well, every week.
I know you've kind of seen mesort of post my episodes on
(23:34):
Saturday, but I will be gettingback to Friday as soon as some
things get spanked out.
But I love you all and we'vekind of come to the end of our
time today.
I love you all.
Remember the whole scripture.
Go back, re-listen to thispodcast as many times as you
need to to get those scriptures, because I wanted to make sure I
got them all in in the timethat we had a lot.
(23:56):
Read them.
Read the verse or two above theverse or two below, but
preferably the whole chapter.
I know there's going to be alot of reading, but it is
essential.
It is essential and we're justscratching the surface, because
next week we're going to talkabout the titles of the book and
(24:20):
we're going to talk about someof those Old Testament titles
that we talked about earlier.
But I just want to get to thepoint.
We're going to talk a lot aboutit, so tune in.
Next week we're going tocontinue this.
Because I thank you so much forthe question, because that
question really it's not assimple, as hey read this verse
(24:43):
and I should answer it for you,but it is Kind of interwovenven
throughout the entire world.
All right, I love you all.
Thank you all so much forjoining me.
Thank you for sharing, thankyou for liking and commenting.
Thank you for all of you forvisiting the YouTube channel.
I haven't talked about thatmuch.
(25:03):

.
Thank you all.
You have no idea how much thatmeans to me.
Thank God for each and everyone of you.
Also, tell somebody that youlove them.
(25:24):
Tell somebody you love them.
That's probably the best thingand only good thing they'll hear
.
And they came out of your houseAll right.
God bless you all.
See y'all next.
