Don't let life's battles catch you off guard, equip yourself with the right tools and weapons to fight back. I am your Cyber Warrior, here to guide you on this crucial journey, where we'll explore the importance of resilience tactics, hobbies, and breathing exercises. We'll discuss how these tools can help combat depression and the impact of a sturdy support system. Not just that, we'll also venture into the potential consequences of lacking these tools, and how it could affect our ability to fight back when needed.

The second phase of our discussion will take you through the power of the warrior mentality. I'm excited to share the inspiring Havamal from Jackson Crawford, a gentle reminder to always be armed and ready. No matter what we confront, remember, we are in this together, and we can overcome. Walk with me as we navigate the battlefield of life, support each other, and keep our warrior spirit alive. Speaker 2 (00:26):
Welcome back to Walk With Me.
A Cyber Warrior Studiosproduction.
As always, I'm your host onthis journey.
The Cyber Warrior.
Throughout our lives, we'regoing to fight a lot of battles.
Not all the time are we goingto have the right weapons for
those battles.
You know, it is said that youalways leave home with a weapon.
But what weapon could that be?

(00:48):
Especially when you're dealingwith mental health issues,
especially when you're dealingwith the struggles of day to day
life?
You see, sometimes, when weleave the house and we're really
considering how we're going togo about our day, when we woke
up on the wrong side of the bedor we've been in this bout of
depression, or whatever the casemay be, we leave our house.

(01:11):
We wake up in the morning.
We do all these things withoutthe right tolls at hand.
Maybe we know nothing of takingan introspective look at our
lives.
So, instead of leaving with aweapon, we leave with nothing
and we have no way to combat theissues that we have.
Or maybe we have a few weaponsat our disposal.

(01:34):
When they talk about leavingthe house with a weapon, maybe
you left with a simple pocketknife.
You know something like this, small, but it works for the
right purpose.
Maybe you leave with somethinga little bit bigger, but it's
still a knife.
It's still only going to getyou so far and can only do so

(01:58):
much damage to certain people.
So we leave our house, ourhouses, with these tolls, with
these weapons, in order tohopefully help ourselves should
the time come.
But when the need is there, when everything you have

(02:20):
attempted has failed, do youhave the right tolls at your
disposal?
When I think of mental healthand the weapons that have been
given to me in my arsenal, whenI think about all of the things
that I deal with on a day to daybasis, there are a lot of
things at my disposal Anythingfrom resiliency tactics that I
learned in the military from youknow, hobbies and breathing and

(02:44):
a bunch of other things, tocommunity and support friends
and family.
All of these are tolls.
All of these are ways that wecan combat our depression, our
issues that we are having insideon a day to day basis.
And, yeah, some days are betterthan others.

(03:06):
So you may leave the house withnothing.
You may wake up feeling greatand feeling amazing about
yourself, but once again, youleft with nothing.
So when something negativecomes your way, something bad
was said.
Maybe you got some bad news.
You didn't leave with the righttolls at your disposal because

(03:28):
you never learned from breathingexercises to having that friend
or that family member that youcan count on, that you can call
no matter what happens.
You have not prepared yourselffor life.
You have decided to fight allyour battles alone and without
the weapons you need to combatthem.

(03:49):
It's a bad way to live.
Even those that have gonethrough life and have decided
that they are going to be alonethe rest of their life do not
realize the weapons that theyhave at their disposal, the
friends they have, the familythey have and the people they
can call on.
Now I get it.
We may not always want it andwe may push people away.

(04:10):
We may decide that it's justnot worth it, but here's the
kicker with it all.
It is worth it because everysingle one of us, everybody you
talk to, no matter who it is, isfighting a battle, fighting a
war that you know nothing about, because in their mind, their
struggles are all consuming.

(04:31):
They may not be able to combatit on a regular basis, but in
your mind, well, it's just adrop in the bucket.
You've been through worse.
So when you look at thesesituations and when you're
looking at people, you tend tothink that they are going about
their life and, whether it'ssomeone like myself who is
always coming with the energyand the motivation, you may

(04:52):
think he's got it together, he'sable to handle it.
But the reality of thesituation is is I have my tools,
I have my weapons, I have thethings that I need to fight back
, to always keep fighting, to bethe warrior that I know I am.
But when it comes to you, youthink I've got it easy.

(05:15):
You think other people in thisworld have it easy, but that's
not the case, because nobody hasit easy.
Even those that lie, cheat andsteal, all those that get to the
top, all those that step onother people.
You see, they don't have iteasy because somebody is always
coming for them, somebody isalways looking for revenge and

(05:40):
vengeance and justice andeverything else.
Nothing comes easy and nothingcomes without a fight, and it
does.
It wears on us every single day, from the food we buy that's way
too expensive, to the gas toget to our jobs, to being able

(06:01):
to see our kids play sports orour nieces and nephews, whatever
the case may be.
Every little bit of it wears onus when we can't do what we
think we need to be able to do.
So you have to have the righttools.
You have to have the rightweapons, for if you don't, if

(06:23):
you don't leave house without aweapon at your disposal that you
can use to keep on fighting, you're going to lose the war,
because it's okay to lose abattle here or there.
It's okay to have a day whereyou just can't be yourself.

(06:43):
Let's know, I've had my fairshare.
When I disappear from socialmedia, when I quit putting out
videos, when I quit doing thethings that I love to do, it is
because I am choosing to fightmy battles alone, or it is
because I have fought my battleand lost that day.
I don't have the motivation andthe energy that I need to give

(07:04):
to you, but I will never losethe war.
I don't quit and I don't giveup, and neither should you,
because in this life and thethings that we deal with on a
day to day basis, you are needed, you are valued.
So I want you to reallyconsider what tools you think

(07:27):
you have at your disposal.
I want you to really take agood long hard.
Look at your life and rememberthat there were battles you lost
, but you better believe therewere battles you won, because
you're still here with usfighting.
Learn the tools that you need tokeep on fighting.
Sharpen your sword, keep youraxe sharp.

(07:51):
Maybe you need to get a fewmore.
Buy a new knife, buy a newweapon that keeps your weaponry
full.
Don't ever forget that we areall friends and family around
here.
You see, if you're listening tothis, you are one of my
warriors.
If you are watching this, youare most definitely one of my

(08:13):
warriors, and I am here tosupport and love and help every
single one of you, because thatis what I'm here for, for no
other reason than to remind youthat you don't quit, you don't
give up.
We are going to win this war,the war that we have going on

(08:34):
within ourselves every singleday.
So, before you get these finalwords of wisdom, as you know, I
like to do every episode pleaseremember rate, comment, share,
subscribe, find all the ways tosupport down in the description
or the show notes and everythingelse.
It really helps, gets us a longway, unless we know that this
matters to you and thatinformation like this is very

(08:55):
important, but saying that let'sget into your final words of
wisdom.
So once again we're going to bepulling back from the Habibal
from Jackson Crawford, and thisone is stands at 38, and it goes
a lot to what we just talkedabout Never go even a single
step without a weapon at yourside.
You never know when you mightfind yourself in need of a spear

(09:16):
.
Very important words, remember.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
