Today Is A Gift So Be Thankful

The deliberate act of starting each day with gratitude is a powerful first step, especially when you are surrounded by distressing news. You might ask “ Why focus on thanks when the world seems to be falling apart?” 

Because beginning your day "engulfed in this continuous chaos... can be paralyzing." Gratitude is the act of calibrating your soul to the eternal, before engaging with the temporary. 

This practice isn't about pretending problems don't exist. Instead, it’s about consciously grounding yourself by acknowledging the ultimate source of the day itself.   

By choosing to recognize that each day is a gift from the Lord, you shift your focus from the temporal chaos of human events to the eternal and unchanging nature of the Divine Creator. 

This simple but profound choice builds a resilient spirit, allowing you to face challenges from a place of strength rather than fear. 

Tomorrow is not promised, but today is a gift, so be thankful. It's a day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it.
