Walls Don´t Lie is back! Zur Eröffnung des Urban Impressions Festivals Ansbach gab es eine Live-Aufnahme mit den Oldschool Pionieren Darco, Loomit , Won und Cruze als Sonderfolge „What about… European Graffiti History“. Im Stile einer Podiumsdiskussion standen die Artists zu verschiedenen Aspekten der letzen 40 Jahre Graffiti History Rede und Antwort.
Der Podcast „Walls don´t lie“, hat seit der Veröffentlichung seiner ersten Folge im Juni 2020 für großes Aufsehen in der deutschsprachigen Podcast-Landschaft gesorgt und ist in der Graffiti-Szene mittlerweile eine feste Hausnummer. Umso erstaunlicher, dass auch dieses Herzensprojekt aus dem kleinen Ansbach stammt.
Denn hinter dem Format stecken die beiden lokalen Graffiti-Urgesteine Carlos Crow 139 und Kgee. Nachdem sie im Jahr 1997 in der kleinen, bayerischen Beamtenstadt ihre erste gemeinsame Graffiti-Crew gründeten, zog es Crow später nach Nürnberg und Kgee bis ins weiter entfernte Köln. Man verlor sich aus den Augen, doch die Liebe zur Hiphop Kultur, insbesondere dem Graffiti, blieb. Im Jahr 2020 kamen die beiden schließlich wieder zusammen und was zunächst als rein künstlerischer Graffiti-Austausch geplant war, endete schließlich in der Geburt des Podcasts.
