Frauke Fischer ist Tropenbiologin und Dozentin für internationalen Naturschutz und unternehmerische Verantwortung an der Uni Würzburg. Sie ist auch Autorin und Gründerin der Unternehmensberatung "Auf!" mit Schwerpunkt auf Biodiversität und der Schokoladenmanufaktur PERÚ PURO, die Bauernfamilien in Peru direkt unterstützt, den Kakao ökologisch nachhaltig anzubauen und gleichzeitig ein Stück Regenwald zu schützten.
Im Januar 2021 sprachen wir mit Frauke über Biodiversität, PERÚ PURO, die Bedeutung von fairem Handel und transparenter Wirtschaft, Schokolade und natürlich über ihren Wandelpunkt.

Wir belohnen sie mit einem Preis, der doppelt so hoch ist wie der Bio-Fair-Trade-Mindestpreis, nicht nur für ihre tolle Arbeit, sondern auch für den Schutz von 900 Hektar Regenwald."
