This episode picks up three months after watching Henry kill Sam and himself in KC, Joel and Ellie arrive in Wyoming. The meet an isolated couple, Florence and Marlon, who tell them their whereabouts and warn them to avoid the dangers further west across the river. Learning his brother Tommy may be dead, Joel has a panic attack. The leave and get surrounded by a group on horseback who eventually lead him to a reunion with his brother in Jackson, a fully functioning town. He learns his brother is married and got a baby on the way as well as where the Fireflys are. They make their way to the hideout and get attacked and Joel is wounded....
