Welcome to Episode #177 of the Way of the Bible podcast. This is our first of eight episodes in our Twenty-Third mini-series entitled The Return of Jesus Christ. On today’s episode, we’ll begin our look at Old Testament passages that speak of the most written about time in the Bible, the return of Jesus Christ to judge the world in righteousness on the Day of the Lord.
Central to our last miniseries, this miniseries, and at least one more mini-series on the topic of the Return of Jesus Christ, is the Harpazo, or snatching away, of the Church before the great tribulation that is coming upon the entire world. Not one nation, people group, or person will be untouched by the wrath of God to be unleashed upon the earth.
Rest assured believers, we will not be there when the wrath of God is unleased, as the Bible clearly says in multiple places. And we’ll go into that in detail in the weeks ahead, but not yet in this miniseries.
We are still building the foundation, the bulk of which is found in the Old Testament. So let’s get started.
