the new WHITE FLIGHT has absolutely nothing to do with white families moving out of black neighborhoods. The WHITE FLIGHT I am referencing isn't a recent phenomenon but it is a phenomenon that noone has seemed interested in discussing as of yet. Listen to the mainstream media and you would be lead to believe that the epidemic of fatherless homes is primarily a "black problem." This is, of course, ridiculous. White men have been abandoning their children in just as a great of numbers, actually higher, if using raw totals as the measurement. Regardless of race though, are we really willing to accept that this epidemic is a symptom of a change in culture resulting in men actually not wanting to be around for their families? Of course not! This is part 1 of a 2 part series discussing the fatherlessness issues in America. Part 1 will focus on what I believe is driving the fatherlessness in poor, rural, white America while Part 2 will focus on the factors contributing to the issue in the black community. This is sure to get a little heated/controversial but if I get something wrong or you think I am missing something drop your thoughts in the comments or shoot me a DM on social media. Lets get to the bottom of this issue, be honest about, and figure out how to fix it!!
