for about the past fifteen years.I've written for politicians all over the country.
And guess what, I could notstand what I was seeing in this
race to replace Mitt Romney and decidedthat I was the strongest constitutional conservative who

in Utah right now as you're runningfor that seat. I know you've got
to talk about national issues, butlet's just focus on Utah for a second.
What's the number one issue that you'redealing with right now? Yeah,
but it's the same thing in Utahthat it is everywhere else, and it
is a national issue. I feellike three months ago we didn't have such
a recognition that the border was sucha massive problem. Nobody can argue with

the fact that it's a really bigproblem now. I was down there a
year ago, right those of uspaying attention knew this was a problem,
and a growing problem at that.I've talked to teachers who told me that
in their schools they have fifty percentnon English speaking children, and the English
speakers and the non English speakers alikeare struggling to get through today. Kids

are crying, teachers are crying.Nobody knows how to deal with this massive
influx that we're all seeing. Thatis simply Joe Biden and his administration refusing
to do their job. So,you know one thing that we taught I've
talked about this immigration issue for wellover a year because I saw it coming,
and I thought it was going tobe the number one issue that was
going to be out front of everythingin every race across the country, right

on down to your local state repsand your local state centers. And you
know, you're battling it out atthe highest level for the United States Senate.
But what people seem to forget.Now we know about the dangers of
the people coming across. We knowabout you know, the crime and the
fetanyl and all that. I thinkwhat's flying under the radar, though,
and all of this and all ofthat is very important. What's flying under

the radar is the incredible cost likeeach and every like individual like Denver's crippled
by this. Other cities are NewYork crippled. What are we going to
do about that? I don't know. We don't have any money. Has
anybody noticed we're printing dollars in orderto even keep up with our own spending

and pay the interest on our currentdebt. The House released a report a
few months ago saying that the illegalaliens who'd come across the border in the
last few years could cost us upto half a trillion dollars a year.
I saw another report a couple ofweeks ago that talked about a couple trillion
dollars a year when you account foreducation spending and what is becoming clear increased

social service spending. And the factof the matter is, I've talked to
small business owners who told me thatthey have people every single day coming to
them for jobs. We have Americansbeing squeezed for jobs, and we are
importing millions upon millions upon millions ofnew people, some who want to work,
some who don't. But either way, our tax dollars are paying for

them. This does not work.I may not be a math whiz,
but this doesn't work. And bythe way, we're talking with Carolyn Fippen,

sort of where we are right now. Deck continues to go up. But
now let's talk about Chinese nationals comingacross the border. Now we're figuring out

border now too, are you justwaiting every morning I wake up do my
morning show in Connecticut, waiting forthat gasp where we say, oh,

you know this bomb went off hereand this dirty bomb went off here,
something horrific happening there? Are youjust waiting for that? Like I am?
Think about this. We know whathappened last time we had a presidential
election, right, We had throughoutthe entire summer, people marching in the
streets, people on the line left. We had Antifa, we had BLM.
This year we have even more tolook forward to. We have Chinese

nationals. I have been told thatup to one hundred thousand Chinese troops are
estimated to be in our country rightnow. We know, based on what
we saw in October in this countrythat we have Middle Eastern terraces, right,
and that is not going to gowell this summer. We also have
drug cartels. The drug cartels havefull operational control of the southern border.

Certainly they wouldn't want to come intoour country and stir anything up, right,
Like how naive? Can we be? Yes? Every single day?
And I'll tell you, I keepthinking that I need to do a lot

York buried obviously, California buried.But is Utah feeling the grip of this
already? Yes? So we gotnews a week or two ago. It
was actually by a reporter asking ourgovernor about it. I think he may
have known about it and we didn't. The reporter uncovered this information that there
were illegal aliens being paid to cometo Utah from New York City. So

that's lovely right. They come acrossthe border, they traverse through our state,
either above it or on our roads, they end up in New York,
and then Adams is giving them moneyto fly back to Utah. Like,

little bit of info about you.So give me a rundown, like,
give me, you know, allthe basic details about you. Yeah,
Okay, So let me tell youI most recently, the most recent politician
I worked for. I've worked forsome good ones out of Utah, but
I had a job working for SenatorMike Lee for a number of years and

I represented him in the state ofUtah with other government officials. I was
his inner governmental affairs advisor here.I also did a lot of work for
a previous Speaker of the House,strong Conservative who we had here in Utah.
And I am a mother of fiveboys. I was home for twenty
years raising my kids, and havebeen involved in politics in many different ways

for about the past fifteen years.I've written for politicians all over the country.
And guess what, I could notstand what I was seeing in this
race to replace Mitt Romney and decidedthat I was the strongest constitutional conservative who
I saw anywhere on the horizon willingto step up. So I did,
and I'm running for romney seat.So what's the number one issue that's plaguing

in Utah right now as you're runningfor that seat. I know you've got
to talk about national issues, butlet's just focus on Utah for a second.
What's the number one issue that you'redealing with right now? Yeah,
but it's the same thing in Utahthat it is everywhere else, and it
is a national issue. I feellike three months ago we didn't have such
a recognition that the border was sucha massive problem. Nobody can argue with

the fact that it's a really bigproblem now. I was down there a
year ago, right those of uspaying attention knew this was a problem,
and a growing problem at that.I've talked to teachers who told me that
in their schools they have fifty percentnon English speaking children, and the English
speakers and the non English speakers alikeare struggling to get through today. Kids

are crying, teachers are crying.Nobody knows how to deal with this massive
influx that we're all seeing. Thatis simply Joe Biden and his administration refusing
to do their job. So,you know one thing that we taught I've
talked about this immigration issue for wellover a year because I saw it coming,
and I thought it was going tobe the number one issue that was
going to be out front of everythingin every race across the country, right
(39:23):
on down to your local state repsand your local state centers. And you
know, you're battling it out atthe highest level for the United States Senate.
But what people seem to forget.Now we know about the dangers of
the people coming across. We knowabout you know, the crime and the
fetanyl and all that. I thinkwhat's flying under the radar, though,
and all of this and all ofthat is very important. What's flying under
(39:45):
the radar is the incredible cost likeeach and every like individual like Denver's crippled
by this. Other cities are NewYork crippled. What are we going to
do about that? I don't know. We don't have any money. Has
anybody noticed we're printing dollars in orderto even keep up with our own spending

and pay the interest on our currentdebt. The House released a report a
few months ago saying that the illegalaliens who'd come across the border in the
last few years could cost us upto half a trillion dollars a year.
I saw another report a couple ofweeks ago that talked about a couple trillion
dollars a year when you account foreducation spending and what is becoming clear increased

social service spending. And the factof the matter is, I've talked to
small business owners who told me thatthey have people every single day coming to
them for jobs. We have Americansbeing squeezed for jobs, and we are
importing millions upon millions upon millions ofnew people, some who want to work,
some who don't. But either way, our tax dollars are paying for

them. This does not work.I may not be a math whiz,
but this doesn't work. And bythe way, we're talking with Carolyn Fippen,
who's running for the United States Senateout in Utah Mitt Romney's empty seat
or he's leaving a vacated seat,and we've I've talked to her a couple
of times in the past and it'salways a pleasure and honor to get a
chance to do that. Let's stayon immigration for a couple more minutes,

We don't have it, we can'tfind it, we print it. That's
sort of where we are right now. Deck continues to go up. But
now let's talk about Chinese nationals comingacross the border. Now we're figuring out
that there are terrorists coming across theborder, not just southern border, northern
border now too, are you justwaiting every morning I wake up do my
morning show in Connecticut, waiting forthat gasp where we say, oh,

you know this bomb went off hereand this dirty bomb went off here,
something horrific happening there? Are youjust waiting for that? Like I am?
Think about this. We know whathappened last time we had a presidential
election, right, We had throughoutthe entire summer, people marching in the
streets, people on the line left. We had Antifa, we had BLM.
This year we have even more tolook forward to. We have Chinese

nationals. I have been told thatup to one hundred thousand Chinese troops are
estimated to be in our country rightnow. We know, based on what
we saw in October in this countrythat we have Middle Eastern terraces, right,
and that is not going to gowell this summer. We also have
drug cartels. The drug cartels havefull operational control of the southern border.

Certainly they wouldn't want to come intoour country and stir anything up, right,
Like how naive? Can we be? Yes? Every single day?
And I'll tell you, I keepthinking that I need to do a lot
more practice with my firearms. Youknow, it's sad, but it is
absolutely one true. Is this affectingthe state of Utah? I mean New

York buried obviously, California buried.But is Utah feeling the grip of this
already? Yes? So we gotnews a week or two ago. It
was actually by a reporter asking ourgovernor about it. I think he may
have known about it and we didn't. The reporter uncovered this information that there
were illegal aliens being paid to cometo Utah from New York City. So

that's lovely right. They come acrossthe border, they traverse through our state,
either above it or on our roads, they end up in New York,
and then Adams is giving them moneyto fly back to Utah. Like,
this is all absolutely ridiculous. Iwas almost somebody in Denver earlier today
who said that they're having trouble inmany areas even booking hotel rooms because the

hotels are full of illegal aliens.And think about that, our tax dollars
are paying for that. Right,If you were writing a movie, you
would you would say, if youwrote this out as a script, you
wouldn't believe it. You'd be like, oh, this is unbelievable. This

caucus convention system. We had ourcaucuses last night along with our presidential preference
poll, all my Democrat friends werethere last night voting in our Republican presidential

upcoming conventions. So April twenty seventh, we have a state convention, and

right now we have eleven people whoare running for this Senate seat. Now,
there are a hand full of uswho are strong right and there is
one of us who is a strongconstitutional conservative, that is me. We've
had already a number of forums,you know, debate type things, but
we can't go after each other yet. That's coming. There is one debate

that we have coming up next weekwith just a couple of us. But
here's the thing. There is nobodyin this race who understands policy the way
I do, who has experience infederal policy, especially the way that I
