Tolerance is a 2-sided coin.
On one side tolerance is a valuable skill that can open up deeper connections to people, ideas and opportunities.
But on the other side, it can leave us open to being walked all over and putting up with situations, relationships and interactions that we don’t like or deserve. Often compromising on our true needs, wants and desires.
In today’s episode we’re discussing how we’ve both been noticing and thinking about this concept, but from slightly different angles.
When we flip the perspective, and think instead about creating higher standards, we step into ‘creator energy’.
This type of energy draws us forward. It puts the focus on what we want to create, rather than what we will no longer tolerate in our lives. It moves us from being victims to empowered creators of our own realities.
