Like you are holding it all together by a tenuous string. Like you are just waiting to exhale. But afraid that if you relax, everything is going to fall apart. 

Today we’re talking about this sense of hypervigilance and internal tension. 

When we hold on so tight to the outcomes that we expect by almost forcing them into existence, sometimes we aren’t getting a true gauge of what’s actually present in the circumstances and relationships around us.  

As we raise our standards & set boundaries in our lives, we create a new baseline for the lives we want to create. But it can take a conscious softening into the new thresholds we’ve set for ourselves as we build proof that we have our own backs.
