we were on verdict watch on theprevious episode, and the verdict did come
down. It was a hung jury. The jurors just could not come to
a full agreement and misstrial not surprised. I have to say, I'm not

surprised. I have a couple friendswho live in mass who have been following
this case really closely as well,and as it stands right now, and
also the feedback from you guys onInstagram. I don't think I've met or
seen a single person believe that KarenReid should have been convicted, so fascinating.

a while ago in June of twentyseventeen, and Chris was actually removed from
a convention, a gaming convention,for inappropriately hugging and touching people who wanted

to get a photo with him.If you recall, he was about to
be arrested by police because he wentinto a non responsive fetal position on the
floor. There were two attendees thereto help. One was the mother of
an autistic child, and then therewas another person who knew who Chris was
and he was able to He andthe mom were able to talk to the
police kind of explain who Chris is, he's autistic and so forth, and

Chris managed to not be arrested atthat time. But in September of twenty
seventeen, Chris began a relationship witha white night troll by the name of
Jessica Quinn. And if you don'tknow what a white night troll is,
it's a troll who actually sticks upfor and defends someone who's being made fun

of white Knight trolls and were theytrolling Chris. Yeah, And sometimes they
would do or say some really shittythings, but they would also try to
keep Chris from being manipulated by otherpeople, maybe with worse intentions, right,

but if someone comes in trying tomanipulate, take advantage, or do something
horrible to Chris, they would standup for him and tell him, you

they put their Facebook status back toIt's complicated and multiple breakups between the two
of them. The first one wasdue to Chris hitting on some random voice
actress on Twitter. He had alsobeen following women that he stalked and harassed
on Twitter via one of his handfulof soccer accounts, so he would see

a woman that he liked or thoughtwas cute, and then he would either
block them on his primary and thengo back and then message them on his
sock accounts on his backup accounts.The final breakup came after Chris did a
Q and A session with Kiwi Farmsand Jessica claimed that her Facebook had been
hacked by trolls and that she couldn'tdeal with the attention, so she broke

up with Chris, and this ledThis particular incident led to perhaps like one
of the most notorious moments in Christory. Chris made a couple YouTube videos about
it, each one incredibly manic,one in particular titled Clog, Clog,
hyphen q and a No More.And in that video, he absolutely loses

his ever loving shit. I mean, he's screaming at random trolls he's blaming
them for his breakup. After that, the rest of twenty seventeen was actually
relatively uneventful. Probably the craziest thingwas just odd Facebook posts here and there,
and then the occasional YouTube video beggingfor money. In December, Chris
released the video of him doing asupposed Cherokeean chant In actuality, he was

chanting in Russian like Russian language.But the main point that you pretty much
need to know is that between twentyseventeen and twenty twenty, I'm talking about
like three years there Chris's grasp ofreality as a whole. I mean,
he was becoming more and more brainwashedby the Idea Guys. Now, if

you're not familiar, the Idea Guyswas the name of a loose group of
a couple trolls. It started offas light trolling and then they ended up
getting Chris and into Chris's head byhaving him role play is Snachew characters.
They planted a bunch of ideas intohis mind, like changing Sonachew Cannon.

They told Chris that Nazis had invadedQuickville. They told Chris that he was
married to Magi Chan. They convincedhim and acted like they fully believed the
dimensional merge, which, if youguys recall, the merge is basically where
the world of Sunachew is supposed tomerge and come into the real world and

everyone's going to be living together likeSona Chow characters and you know, real
life people. And I'm not goingto get into the Sona Chew comics and
all of that stuff. If youreally want to learn about it, you
can either head over to the Quickieor you can watch the Geno Samuel documentaries
on YouTube, which are incredible,seriously impeccable. But more or less,

Chris, the Idea guys were moreor less just abusing Chris to the point
they knew how to make him believestuff. And this wasn't Chris just being
his normal quirky odd I hate tosay, autistic self. These were very
malicious people who were intentionally dismantling Chris'smind. I mean they again, they

convinced Chris that Nazis had invaded Quickvilleand also that the Nazis had possessed dolls
in his home, so Chris madea YouTube video where he smashed one on
camera. I mean, suffice itto say, Chris was going absolutely bananas,
and his last bit of grasp onreality was slipping. In January of
(09:46):
twenty eighteen, Chris got win thatMAGFest, a video game convention in Washington,
DC, was going to have apanel on him, and so he
went and apparently had a great time. It was clear though, at that
time, to pretty much everyone,that he was being really super influenced by
the Idea Guys, and because ofthat, the main member of the Idea
(10:11):
Guys was dosed. His name wasJoshua Wise. And right after that,
Joshua Wise went into hiding and heended up laying low because all of his
accounts were plastered all over the internet. People who had been following Chris Chan
for years, and there were thousandsof them, I mean, people were
(10:31):
disgusted by what this group was doingto him. And so after that,
in particular, it just became veryvery clear. On March twenty third of
twenty eighteen, on March twenty thirdof twenty eighteen, Chris actually ended up
trespassing. Remember his old stomping groundat the Fashion Square mall where he had
(10:52):
been banned because he pepper sprayed aGame Stop employee. Well, he decided
that he just would go right backto without a care in the world,
and he was arrested and charged withtrespass after being forbidden. On the arresting
document, Chris signed and put hissignature as Chris chan Saunachew. He even
(11:13):
wrote it out in the Sonacheu fontincluding the lightning bolts. And this is
something that you're going to notice aswell. Chris basically more or less believed
because of the idea guys that hewas Saunachew, that he had different versions
of himself. I mean that sonaChew characters could possess the living, So
Chris really did believe that he wasSaunachew. Eventually, though with a trespassing
(11:39):
charge again, Chris managed to notgo to jail and the court would put
him into a therapeutic docket program inlieu of a jail sentence for that trespassing
charge. On April tenth, heactually came out as bisexual. He said
on Facebook, I realized with mysweethearts that I am a bisexual. So
I will be needing to get abase, actual colored flag to replace this

one. Celebrate lesbian pride for yourselfwith my full kindness and support. Again,
this was because of the Idea Guys. The Idea guys had more or
less brainwashed Chris into believing that hewas bisexual and married to Magic Chan,
who is another Sona Chew character.They even had Chris draw penises on the

wall like pictures, and then Chriswould actually end up like licking them.
They really had him do some shamefulthings. And I've talked a bit about
how the idea guys you helped Chrislose his grasp on reality, but that
really wasn't the only thing that theywere doing to him. There was a
chat that came out and Chris wastalking to Joshua Wise, and Joshua Wise
(12:48):
was basically role playing as a characterfrom Hyperdimension Neptunia, a video game,
as a character called Blanc, andChris went into just extreme sexually explicit detail.
How about how he would basically havesex with her? Now that character

was a minor. I mean it'san anime, right, but like that
character is very very very clearly aminor, And Chris went off into explicit
detail about how he would have sexwith this character. The Idea guys would
then utilize stuff like this, andin this case, the Hyperdimension Neptunia,
and they had him more or lessadmit to being a pedophile. And there

was a member of the guard Dogs, like another White Knight type of patrol
group, and he said, quote, well, the idea guys also extracted
blackmail material from Chris, like makehim admit to being a pedophile. They
were basically like, well, Imean, you thought your classmates were hot
when you were in high school,right, so you found a minor attractive,
therefore you're a pedo. And Chrismultiple times in these with them admitted

and said, yes, I mustbe a pedophile. I must be a
pedophile. But this did kind ofdraw him away. It's like he was
kind of unsure of whether that wasright or wrong or not. That it
was just another way that the ideaguys more or less kept up with a
mental manipulation with Chris. June twentysecond, Chris and Tendon the Too Mini
Games conference in Philadelphia, and therehe began to take pictures with lots of

attendees and was just really reveling inall of the attention that he was getting,
that is until he got kicked outyet again. Chris had been kissing
people on the cheeks, including thosewho were underage. He was warned multiple
times by staff, He was warnedmultiple times by friends that he was making
people uncomfortable, but it did notmatter. Also, during this time,

Chris began to identify and call himselfCPU Blueheart and if you're on Twitter or
followed or looked at Chris on Twitter, this is Chris. That's the name
that Chris utilizes. The next month, in July, that was when the
trespass case was finalized, Chris wentinto therapeutic docket. He did not get

jail time, but also Nol fromKiwi Farms revealed that there were multiple Idea
Guys that it wasn't just Joshua Wisefrom earlier in that year and another and
then no also leased a chat calledthe Bad Beginning in Chrysal Torture and those
are basically just information and chat logsand whatnot showing just how bad Joshua and

then Stephen Boyd, another troll fromthe Idea Guys, what they did to
Chris. They had not only basicallycompletely destroyed his mind, they had him
pretending and cosplaying almost on a dailybasis, pretending to be Sauna Cheu Rose
two, Magic chand mewtwo like allof the big characters from Sonic, that

is, from Sono Chew, Chriswas believing that he was possessed by them.
He started having a god complex,believing that he had powers, that
the merge was going to happen,he had to defeat the Nazis. Like
not only all of that, butthey had also scammed Chris out of over
six thousand dollars in donations that hehad received, and then also electronics like

electrical goods and stuff like that.Not only that, but that's when everyone
became aware of the idea. Guy'sthreatening to turn Chris over to the FBI
for being a pedophile and using thatblackmail as a method to get him to
do what they want. Also,in some of the YouTube videos that you
see Chris in, Chris has reallyreally long, stringy hair. He is

not looking well. You can tellpsychologically that the elevator ain't getting to the
top. His voice is changing quitea bit. He's begging for money again.
And the house itself is a wreck. I mean it is a hoard
or house. I think it's reallysad, and I don't think there's been
any confirmation of this, but overthe summer of twenty eighteen, Chris and

Barb actually got two new cats,because you know, their animals have died
and whatnot. But they'd got twokittens over the summer of twenty eighteen,
and both of the kittens died withina month of them being brought home.
And I can't help but wonder ifthat's due to the nature of the house,
due to the fact that it isa hoarder home and there's trash and
stuff just everywhere. Even though theirprevious house burned down, it didn't really

seem to do a lot of good, you know what I mean. But
in any case, there was anotherperson that came into the picture by the
name of Jacob Sockness. Now,y'all, if you think that Chris is
fucked up, Sockness is even worse. I mean, EON's worse. With

everything you know about Chris so far, imagine someone actually wanting to have sexual
relations with him. Yes, Socknessdid. He was horny for Chris.
Sockness is also autistic, gay,very low functioning, and incredibly mentally ill.

single from Christine's head to put intoan amulet of serious power to manifest one's
dreams. This is a divine experience. I mean, wtf. Sockness is
entire thing, And no one actuallyknows if he was one hundred percent of
trol, fifty percent oftrol what.But he was obsessed with Chris, just

completely obsessed, and he tried tobecome Chris's first male sweetheart, and Chris
kind of sort of entertained it fora little bit. But when Chris chan
knows that you're a creepy bastard,that says it all right there, you
know what I mean, But therewas a very visible trolling cycle with Sockness.

Sockness actually said at one point thebig, the big thing that just
kind of disturbed everyone is he showeda picture of a ticket that he was
going to come visit Chris, andhe ended up not coming and whatnot.
But a lot of people were very, very very concerned for Chris's safety after
that. So in any case Chrisblocked him, Sockness was out of the

of jail, and so on andso forth. But the bottom line is
that Chris's reality was really, really, really slipping, and again the idea
guys helped that along. But it'sreally based on the concept of the dimensional

them for his breakup. After that, the rest of twenty seventeen was actually
relatively uneventful. Probably the craziest thingwas just odd Facebook posts here and there,
and then the occasional YouTube video beggingfor money. In December, Chris
released the video of him doing asupposed Cherokeean chant In actuality, he was

chanting in Russian like Russian language.But the main point that you pretty much
need to know is that between twentyseventeen and twenty twenty, I'm talking about
like three years there Chris's grasp ofreality as a whole. I mean,
he was becoming more and more brainwashedby the Idea Guys. Now, if
(07:49):
you're not familiar, the Idea Guyswas the name of a loose group of
a couple trolls. It started offas light trolling and then they ended up
getting Chris and into Chris's head byhaving him role play is Snachew characters.
They planted a bunch of ideas intohis mind, like changing Sonachew Cannon.
(08:11):
They told Chris that Nazis had invadedQuickville. They told Chris that he was
married to Magi Chan. They convincedhim and acted like they fully believed the
dimensional merge, which, if youguys recall, the merge is basically where
the world of Sunachew is supposed tomerge and come into the real world and
(08:35):
everyone's going to be living together likeSona Chow characters and you know, real
life people. And I'm not goingto get into the Sona Chew comics and
all of that stuff. If youreally want to learn about it, you
can either head over to the Quickieor you can watch the Geno Samuel documentaries
on YouTube, which are incredible,seriously impeccable. But more or less,
(08:58):
Chris, the Idea guys were moreor less just abusing Chris to the point
they knew how to make him believestuff. And this wasn't Chris just being
his normal quirky odd I hate tosay, autistic self. These were very
malicious people who were intentionally dismantling Chris'smind. I mean they again, they
(09:24):
convinced Chris that Nazis had invaded Quickvilleand also that the Nazis had possessed dolls
in his home, so Chris madea YouTube video where he smashed one on
camera. I mean, suffice itto say, Chris was going absolutely bananas,
and his last bit of grasp onreality was slipping. In January of
(09:46):
twenty eighteen, Chris got win thatMAGFest, a video game convention in Washington,
DC, was going to have apanel on him, and so he
went and apparently had a great time. It was clear though, at that
time, to pretty much everyone,that he was being really super influenced by
the Idea Guys, and because ofthat, the main member of the Idea
(10:11):
Guys was dosed. His name wasJoshua Wise. And right after that,
Joshua Wise went into hiding and heended up laying low because all of his
accounts were plastered all over the internet. People who had been following Chris Chan
for years, and there were thousandsof them, I mean, people were
(10:31):
disgusted by what this group was doingto him. And so after that,
in particular, it just became veryvery clear. On March twenty third of
twenty eighteen, on March twenty thirdof twenty eighteen, Chris actually ended up
trespassing. Remember his old stomping groundat the Fashion Square mall where he had
(10:52):
been banned because he pepper sprayed aGame Stop employee. Well, he decided
that he just would go right backto without a care in the world,
and he was arrested and charged withtrespass after being forbidden. On the arresting
document, Chris signed and put hissignature as Chris chan Saunachew. He even
(11:13):
wrote it out in the Sonacheu fontincluding the lightning bolts. And this is
something that you're going to notice aswell. Chris basically more or less believed
because of the idea guys that hewas Saunachew, that he had different versions
of himself. I mean that sonaChew characters could possess the living, So
Chris really did believe that he wasSaunachew. Eventually, though with a trespassing
(11:39):
charge again, Chris managed to notgo to jail and the court would put
him into a therapeutic docket program inlieu of a jail sentence for that trespassing
charge. On April tenth, heactually came out as bisexual. He said
on Facebook, I realized with mysweethearts that I am a bisexual. So
I will be needing to get abase, actual colored flag to replace this

one. Celebrate lesbian pride for yourselfwith my full kindness and support. Again,
this was because of the Idea Guys. The Idea guys had more or
less brainwashed Chris into believing that hewas bisexual and married to Magic Chan,
who is another Sona Chew character.They even had Chris draw penises on the
(12:24):
wall like pictures, and then Chriswould actually end up like licking them.
They really had him do some shamefulthings. And I've talked a bit about
how the idea guys you helped Chrislose his grasp on reality, but that
really wasn't the only thing that theywere doing to him. There was a
chat that came out and Chris wastalking to Joshua Wise, and Joshua Wise
(12:48):
was basically role playing as a characterfrom Hyperdimension Neptunia, a video game,
as a character called Blanc, andChris went into just extreme sexually explicit detail.
How about how he would basically havesex with her? Now that character
(13:09):
was a minor. I mean it'san anime, right, but like that
character is very very very clearly aminor, And Chris went off into explicit
detail about how he would have sexwith this character. The Idea guys would
then utilize stuff like this, andin this case, the Hyperdimension Neptunia,
and they had him more or lessadmit to being a pedophile. And there
(13:35):
was a member of the guard Dogs, like another White Knight type of patrol
group, and he said, quote, well, the idea guys also extracted
blackmail material from Chris, like makehim admit to being a pedophile. They
were basically like, well, Imean, you thought your classmates were hot
when you were in high school,right, so you found a minor attractive,
therefore you're a pedo. And Chrismultiple times in these with them admitted
(14:01):
and said, yes, I mustbe a pedophile. I must be a
pedophile. But this did kind ofdraw him away. It's like he was
kind of unsure of whether that wasright or wrong or not. That it
was just another way that the ideaguys more or less kept up with a
mental manipulation with Chris. June twentysecond, Chris and Tendon the Too Mini
Games conference in Philadelphia, and therehe began to take pictures with lots of
(14:26):
attendees and was just really reveling inall of the attention that he was getting,
that is until he got kicked outyet again. Chris had been kissing
people on the cheeks, including thosewho were underage. He was warned multiple
times by staff, He was warnedmultiple times by friends that he was making
people uncomfortable, but it did notmatter. Also, during this time,
(14:50):
Chris began to identify and call himselfCPU Blueheart and if you're on Twitter or
followed or looked at Chris on Twitter, this is Chris. That's the name
that Chris utilizes. The next month, in July, that was when the
trespass case was finalized, Chris wentinto therapeutic docket. He did not get

jail time, but also Nol fromKiwi Farms revealed that there were multiple Idea
Guys that it wasn't just Joshua Wisefrom earlier in that year and another and
then no also leased a chat calledthe Bad Beginning in Chrysal Torture and those
are basically just information and chat logsand whatnot showing just how bad Joshua and

then Stephen Boyd, another troll fromthe Idea Guys, what they did to
Chris. They had not only basicallycompletely destroyed his mind, they had him
pretending and cosplaying almost on a dailybasis, pretending to be Sauna Cheu Rose
two, Magic chand mewtwo like allof the big characters from Sonic, that

is, from Sono Chew, Chriswas believing that he was possessed by them.
He started having a god complex,believing that he had powers, that
the merge was going to happen,he had to defeat the Nazis. Like
not only all of that, butthey had also scammed Chris out of over
six thousand dollars in donations that hehad received, and then also electronics like
(16:26):
electrical goods and stuff like that.Not only that, but that's when everyone
became aware of the idea. Guy'sthreatening to turn Chris over to the FBI
for being a pedophile and using thatblackmail as a method to get him to
do what they want. Also,in some of the YouTube videos that you
see Chris in, Chris has reallyreally long, stringy hair. He is
(16:48):
not looking well. You can tellpsychologically that the elevator ain't getting to the
top. His voice is changing quitea bit. He's begging for money again.
And the house itself is a wreck. I mean it is a hoard
or house. I think it's reallysad, and I don't think there's been
any confirmation of this, but overthe summer of twenty eighteen, Chris and
(17:12):
Barb actually got two new cats,because you know, their animals have died
and whatnot. But they'd got twokittens over the summer of twenty eighteen,
and both of the kittens died withina month of them being brought home.
And I can't help but wonder ifthat's due to the nature of the house,
due to the fact that it isa hoarder home and there's trash and
stuff just everywhere. Even though theirprevious house burned down, it didn't really
(17:34):
seem to do a lot of good, you know what I mean. But
in any case, there was anotherperson that came into the picture by the
name of Jacob Sockness. Now,y'all, if you think that Chris is
fucked up, Sockness is even worse. I mean, EON's worse. With
(17:55):
everything you know about Chris so far, imagine someone actually wanting to have sexual
relations with him. Yes, Socknessdid. He was horny for Chris.
Sockness is also autistic, gay,very low functioning, and incredibly mentally ill.

He obsessed over Chris and he actuallycreeped Chris out so badly that Chris
ended up blocking him. But thenChris's eBay account was banned, and then
Sockness figuring that he had Okay,well, I can help Chris get in
his good graces, get him tounblock me if I have something that he
needs. So he offered. Hecontacted Chris from a backup account, offered

to put up a vendor store forhim in his name and act as kind
of a middleman for Chris. Chrisaccepted, so they teamed up and again
Socanness was obsessed with Chris. Heonce wrote, quote, the sacred shoes
have samples of cat and doggie dnalooking for the treasures of heaven, a

single from Christine's head to put intoan amulet of serious power to manifest one's
dreams. This is a divine experience. I mean, wtf. Sockness is
entire thing, And no one actuallyknows if he was one hundred percent of
trol, fifty percent oftrol what.But he was obsessed with Chris, just

completely obsessed, and he tried tobecome Chris's first male sweetheart, and Chris
kind of sort of entertained it fora little bit. But when Chris chan
knows that you're a creepy bastard,that says it all right there, you
know what I mean, But therewas a very visible trolling cycle with Sockness.

Sockness actually said at one point thebig, the big thing that just
kind of disturbed everyone is he showeda picture of a ticket that he was
going to come visit Chris, andhe ended up not coming and whatnot.
But a lot of people were very, very very concerned for Chris's safety after
that. So in any case Chrisblocked him, Sockness was out of the

picture. Sockness has made some commentaryon Chris getting arrested, Chris coming out
of jail, and so on andso forth. But the bottom line is
that Chris's reality was really, really, really slipping, and again the idea
guys helped that along. But it'sreally based on the concept of the dimensional
merge. And I know y'all thatthis episode is heinously short, and that

between episode before we get into thereason that all of you guys are listening
to this entire series and the nextepisode is going to which is going to

that he openly admitted to many,many, many people that he was having

accused of, how he got arrested, what he did in jail. Because
if you think that Chris's mental statewas at its worst right before the arrest,

almost like he's a cult leader tryingto disperse wisdom and all of that.
It's bizarre, but in any case, in any case, again, this

if you saw the Washington Post actuallypublished it last week. A woman was
just exonerated after spending basically her entirelife in prison for a crime she did
not commit, and she was exonerated. My girlfriend actually sent over the article

and then I started looking at othercases and I would very much like to
do an episode and I've again startedit on the longest serving women who were
charged with crime, spent a considerableamount of time in prison and then we're
exonerated. So I would very muchlike to do an episode on that.
