RHOC-Drawers, Drama, and Drunken Departures

Podcast Summary – RHOC S19 E5 “The Big UnEasy”

It’s Gina’s housewarming day, with everyone eventually arriving except for Tamra, Shannon, and Heather at first. Talk quickly turns to Tamra’s “former fatty” photo of Jenn, which Gina says Heather told her about. Heather arrives fresh from Paris, followed by Tamra, and the atmosphere is instantly awkward. Outside, Jenn confronts Heather about the photo; Heather tries to frame it as a misunderstanding, but Jenn accuses her of being “bamboozled” by Tamra.

Inside, Tamra tells her side to Gina, Gretchen, and Katie, calling Jenn “single white female” and accusing her of befriending Tamra’s enemies. Gretchen pushes back, citing past accusations Tamra has made. The tension escalates until Gretchen walks out.

Gina gifts each lady a box announcing a trip to New Orleans, though Tamra is emotional because her last visit was with Teddi, who’s battling serious health issues. The episode then checks in with the women’s home lives—Jenn and Ryan at the gym, Shannon embracing single life, and Gina dealing with a custody challenge involving her stepson.

The ladies split into two travel groups for New Orleans. Group 1 (Gina, Emily, Katie, Gretchen) enjoys a riverboat ride, while Group 2 (Jenn, Tamra, Shannon, Heather) joins later for a private dinner. Conversations range from co-parenting conflicts to dating preferences, sexual positions, and playful antics, including Tamra lying on the floor to demonstrate hers. Jenn shares about her pelvic floor surgery, shocking the group.

Dinner ends peacefully, but 24 hours later, chaos erupts—Tamra and Gretchen clash, Gina calls Tamra rude and drunk, and Tamra storms off, texting Gina that she quits.

On Watch What Happens Live, Gina defends comments about Gretchen’s looks, clarifies Emily didn’t research a custody matter (Heather did), and admits there’s still no progress with Travis’s ex.
