Day 7 begins with only six recruits left and the final, brutal stretch looming. Over breakfast, Randall jokes this is the longest he’s ever gone without talking to his kids, while the group marvels that somehow Kody’s “pure ignorance and resilience” might carry him to the end. Andrew wonders aloud if he’d perform better without his wife, Shawn, still on the course. The women—Gia and Brianna—are still fighting hard.

🔥 The Final Mountain Grind
In 100-degree heat, recruits must climb endlessly while carrying two 30-lb tires, later followed by 90 lbs of chains. No one knows where the finish line is, and they must stay together.
- Brianna struggles the entire climb—crying, gasping for breath, repeatedly saying she can’t do it—yet still finishes through sheer grit.
- Shawn and Gia work together to keep the ropes moving.
- Kody, Andrew, and Randall take the early lead, with Andrew eventually overtaking everyone.
- Back at the truck, Brianna says she “didn’t believe in God until I met him on the mountain.”

The DS attempt to emotionally destabilize the recruits by showing them videos from loved ones:
- Andrew watches clips of his kids.

🕵️ Final Phase: Evasion
Two teams must navigate miles of confusing terrain to reach a safe house without being captured.
Team Alpha — Andrew, Randall (before VW), Gia
Team Bravo — Kody, Brianna, Shawn
- Alpha finds the first rendezvous point quickly under Andrew’s leadership.
- Bravo gets lost immediately. Kody wants to split up; Brianna insists they stay together. Kody stops to pee and they lose track of the riverbank.
- Alpha detours 3 miles but still reaches the second RV point… and then gets captured in the open after Randall spots lights too late.
- After Randall VW’s, Bravo continues their struggle… and despite reaching the safe-house area, their indecision slows them down and they too get captured.
Final count: 5 recruits remain.
