Josh Hall (00:00):
Welcome my friend into a very special episode of
the Web Design Business Podcast.
In the previous episode, whichwas a celebration episode for
the five-year milestone of theshow, at the very end I said
that I would dedicate an episodepurely to the next evolution of
my web design community WebDesigner Pro 2.0, and I'm

(00:23):
excited to announce officiallytoday that Web Designer Pro 2.0
is live.
And what is the bigannouncement?
What is the big change, what isthe big innovation between the
first version of Web DesignerPro and 2.0?
Well, it is drum roll please.
Tiers.
Web Designer Pro is now at atiered model and I'll explain

(00:48):
the tiers and everything, allthe differences, the details and
everything here.
But in short, previously WebDesigner Pro, there was only one
tier and one price point andthat included everything.
With Web Designer Pro, if youdon't know, it's kind of the big
three C's it's courses,community and coaching.
So you get access to my entiresuite of web design and web

(01:09):
business courses.
You get access to the amazingcommunity that we've fostered
for a long time now and havejust built up an incredible
little friendly, amazing cornerof the internet that is super
supportive, super helpful andsuper engaged.
And coaching you get directcoaching access to me inside of

(01:31):
Web Designer Pro.
My coaching model is weeklygroup-style coaching calls and
you get a direct DM line ofaccess to me for personal and
confidential and privatecoaching 24-7 whenever you need
it 24-7 whenever you need it.
Now this model has served mereally well and it is really
what I think fostered such anengaged, tight-knit community.
But because of the coachingaspect, there is only so much

(01:55):
time I have, quite frankly, tobe able to coach the amount of
members that we have, because weare actually closing in on
capacity.
I set a 250 member limit to howmany people that I could coach
with my style of coaching and weare very close to capacity Now.
I had known this was coming, which was the impetus for

(02:17):
opening up different tiers.
So now, starting today, what isavailable for you now is a tier
for just the courses, which isideal for those of you who just
want to go through courses, justwant to get your business off
the ground or just need time tolearn before committing to the
actual community or engaging.
The second tier is thecommunity level, so you can

(02:38):
actually join the whole Procommunity and get access to all
community aspects and all of mycourses as well.
And then there is the coachingtier, which is what pro has been
at, which is absolutely fullaccess to everything.
So you get courses, communityand direct coaching with me,
which again my coaching includesweekly group style coaching

(03:00):
calls, which are a little moreintimate.
We do hot seats and websitereviews and strategy and we
often bring members up and talkabout challenges and really get
into strategy and things likethat.
And then you get a direct DMline of coaching with me.
That kind of thing we weretypically doing like proposal
reviews.
You can ask me about offers, pricing, anything private that

(03:22):
you don't want to share in theforum.
I've talked to people aboutbusiness partner relationships
that are a little tricky orchanges in your services or
model things that you may notwant to talk in full in the
group.
You can DM me directly on thecoaching tier.
So we're going to go over thisin detail.
I don't want to set the storyhere and a little bit of
background as to what led to allthis, but, in short, the tiers

(03:45):
are live.
So if you just wanted to get aquick snapshot and you want to
check them out now, you can goto webdesignaprocom and all of
the information will be thereand you'll be able to see the
new tiers that are available foryou.
I'm really excited about thisbecause, as I mentioned, on as
far as my sustainability, mycapacity, I'm nearing capacity
with coaching Now, as with anysubscription.

(04:08):
Those of you who are runningmaintenance plans and ongoing
plans you know that just becauseyou have 200 or 250 people on a
plan, it doesn't mean thatyou're getting 200 DMs or emails
every day.
But I am at a place where I'mfinding that I want to make sure
I continue to have all of mycoaching members get the
absolute best'm finding that Iwant to make sure I continue to
have all of my coaching membersget the absolute best priority
support, support.

(04:29):
I want to stay fresh, I want toshow up.
I never want to give half assanswers or quick answers and
I've been really intentionalabout not doing that.
I've actually been in someprograms where I feel like the
coach was just busy and justkind of sent me something real
quick.
I'm like I would haveappreciated a little more oomph
in that answer.
So that's my goal and that'swhy you know I'm a

(04:51):
sustainability guy when it comesto being an entrepreneur.
That's why I sensed and I knewthat eventually the coaching
that I'm doing is going to be atcapacity once.
Now.
I'm releasing 2.0 now becausewe have a little bit more room.
We're at over 230 members onthe coaching tier right now,
which means I can probablyaccept about 20 more at this

(05:11):
level, and then when we areofficially capped the coaching
level, I'm going to be moving toa wait list.
So it doesn't mean that you'llnever get direct coaching with
me.
It just means that once I'm atcapacity, I'm dead serious about
protecting my time andprotecting the amount of value
I'm giving to all the coachingmembers.
But we will be moving to a waitlist and when spots open up, if

(05:32):
somebody leaves pro ordowngrades to a different tier,
I'll let everyone know who's inpro in the community level that
hey, we've got five or 10 spotsopen.
You can jump up to the coachinglevel to get coaching directly
with me.
So that is the big announcement.
Now, that was quick, but thishas been over a year and a half

(05:52):
in the works.
So if you're curious about allthis and you want to know more
of the details, here we go.
I'm happy to share that withyou.
So, in short, if you didn'tknow, web Designer Pro was
formerly called the Web DesignClub.
I'll keep this brief.
I did talk about this on thelast episode.
But, in short, if you didn'tknow, web Designer Pro was
formerly called the Web DesignClub.
I'll keep this brief.
I did talk about this on thelast episode.
But, in short, my business modelwas courses.

(06:17):
Courses were my bread andbutter.
I had created the suite of nineweb design courses that were
proven.
I released them one at a time.
They were lifetime access,one-off courses, and that model
served me really well.
It was definitely kind of athing of what gets you here
won't get you there.
I'm really glad I started justcourses and had big launch and
promotion cycles.
But, just like projects andone-off projects and web design,

(06:39):
with that model you have reallygood months and really down
months, depending on if you'remarketing and what that looks
like.
So I create all these coursesand then there was a need for me
to bring a lot of my studentswho were getting good results
together and I had a lot ofpeople asking for more support.
They wanted more Josh, as weirdas that sounds.
So I created what wasoriginally called the Web Design

(07:02):
Club.
That that actually launchedofficially in November of 2020.
So that was the kind of firstversion of what became Web
Designer Pro and that served mereally really well.
I know a lot of Web Designer Promembers here are still OG
members from day one.
We launched with over 30members, which was good.
Originally I wanted to launchwith like 100 members, so I was

(07:24):
a bit disappointed with thefirst wave.
But actually, looking back, Ithink when you launch a
membership, especially acommunity that is built to stay
together for the long haul, it'snot like a cohort group or
program that's just six weeksand you're done.
It's really built to be anongoing community for as long as
you're in the game.
I'm actually glad we startedwith a lower member count

(07:46):
because I got to know membersreally well and other members
got to know each other reallywell.
I mean, I've seen some of thedeepest friendships form over
the years with this communityand a lot of people have
actually partnered up and hiredeach other and have started
little agencies.
We have people creating likelittle mini studios together
just by meeting in pro.
So that's where this allstarted.

(08:08):
It was formerly the web designclub and then eventually, what I
found out is that the memberswho were getting the best
results and were actuallybuilding sustainable six and
multi six figure businesses hadall the courses they took.
My processes made it their own.
They had all the info theyneeded, all the content and
resources.

(08:28):
They had the community forsupport, for hiring, for
technical help, and then theyhad coaching.
They were able to get my directinsight and coaching based off
of my experience of a webdesigner of over a decade, based
off of what I've learned incoaching other web designers on
what is working today and whatI've learned in my podcast, with
talking with over hundreds ofweb entrepreneurs, ranging from

(08:53):
professionals to early stagersto many web agency owners who
are doing multi-million dollaragencies.
I have literally seen everysingle type of model and have
learned what works, what hasworked in the past and what
continues to work and what isworking today.
That might be a little more new.
So I found that the members whowere getting the best results
had everything courses,community and coaching.

(09:14):
That was the impetus of addingthe big three Cs.
By the way, I did not come upwith the three Cs.
I think Ryan Lee is officiallythe godfather of basically
content, community and some sortof coaching but I did kind of
come to it on my own, but Ican't take full credit on that.
I can't trademark the three Cs.
But that is when I decided torebrand the Web Design Club to

(09:38):
Web Designer Pro, because Circlethe platform that houses and
runs Web Designer Pro which isfreaking awesome Love Circle,
love, love, love Circle.
Never thought I would ever doanything off of WordPress, but I
trusted Circle and I trustedsome of the mentors I had that
used Circle early on in 2020when it came out, and I am just

(09:59):
continually blown away byeverything that they're doing.
I'm so glad I chose it to bethe home for for my community.
So if you are doing a communityof your own or a coaching
membership or courses orsomething for your clients
eventually definitely recommendcircle.
Go to joshhallco.
Slash circle to use myaffiliate link If you would be
so kind, and I'm going to bedoing more resources for circle
affiliates.
Anywho.
They came out with thefunctionality for courses last

(10:23):
year in the spring of 2023.
So I felt like this was thetime that I added everything
together.
Now I've been very open aboutthe challenges of pivoting a
business model.
In fact, my newsletteryesterday that just came out is
about when to change your offersand to pivot.
I'm going to follow up withanother episode soon about this

(10:45):
in more detail.
That's not the moral of thestory for this one, because I
want to get into pro here.
But uh, it was definitely atough transition but looking
back, it was the absolute besttransition because, while it is
hard to go to change models, Iwent from selling courses first
to having a membership on thebackend to having the membership
as the main thing.
It was a slow and painful startand transition and I kind of

(11:09):
had a muddy, confusing you knowseries of offers there that I
had.
I wish I was a little moretactful about and I wish I would
have committed to pro sooner asfar as marketing.
But in hindsight it's workedout great because pro has
continued to grow.
As I've mentioned, and there's alot of you listening who are
pro members know it's just thefreaking best community it

(11:30):
really is.
It is such a great collectionof people and I'm so proud of
what everyone has built togetherbecause pro is not me I mean, I
do the coaching but it reallyis a group effort.
It's an incredible tribe ofpeople who are so welcoming and
even if you've been a member fora little while and had to leave
for any reason.
I mean, I get it's funny, because when people do have to

(11:50):
step out for any reason which isone of the reasons I added the
tier is it's going to helppeople stay engaged and stay in
the game.
Um, I get, more often than notI get the feeling that they,
like they can't wait to comeback.
Usually it's just financial, because pro previously was just
at a $200 a month financialinvestment, which is a lot for
folks who I understand, who areearly stage and getting started,

(12:13):
which is going to come intoplay here as we dive into the
details.
But, um, it is.
It's been fascinating because noone's been like, yeah, it's not
what I'm expecting, it wasn'tgreat there.
Most people say it wasincredible.
I exceeded my expectations, ascan't keep up with it right now,
or maybe I've.
I'm doing something else otherthan just web design now.
So it's really, really broughtsuch amazing people and it's

(12:36):
been my honor to to build thisto the point where now we can
start to expand a little bit.
But I do want to start with thispoint because I've already
talked about this with promembers.
I did a live call a couple ofmonths back and I've continued
to reassure members that, forthose members listening, we are
not.
You know, it's not changing pro, it's just innovating it.

(12:58):
We're just innovating it andkind of taking it to the next
level, but we are not changingwhat we have built and we're not
going to ruin the incrediblecommunity that we've built.
Pro is always going to be apremium community and it's
always going to be a smallercommunity.
I have no interest in being abig 10,000 person Facebook group
style group.
I ran the Divi Web DesignersFacebook group.

(13:19):
It's a great group still, butit's a whole different ball game
, as many of you know, whenyou're in a Facebook group,
which is kind of the Wild West, versus a premium community that
you're investing in, that otherpeople are investing in and they
become trusted relationshipsand partners and, as many
members have said, in pro it'sbecome like the only safe spot
for them to ask questions thatthey often get ridiculed for

(13:43):
asking in other Facebook groups.
So what an honor to be theleader of this incredible tribe
and I'm really excited about 2.0.
So let's dive into 2.0.
I'll share a little bit of thedifferences on these tiers.
Again, you can go towebdesignerprocom to get all the
details, but really the bigimpetus for these tiers apart
from what I just mentioned is Iwanted to, before making a big

(14:06):
pivot and change in this model,in this business, I wanted to
get real results and real data, which I would recommend that you
do as well.
Before you make a big change inyour business, before you move
to the subscription model orchange your offers or do
something new, I would reallyrecommend polling your paying
customers and get real data.
So that's exactly what I did.

(14:28):
I have a colleague, erica Nash, who has been on the show before
.
She is actually my othercolleague, shannon Mattern,
who's a fellow web designbusiness coach.
Erica is her client successcoordinator and I wanted to get
real data with where members areat, where the revenue numbers
are, what problems they saythey're facing and how pro has
helped, how it could be better.

(14:49):
So that's what we did.
I actually hired Erica to do anincredible audit for me this
summer.
I mean, she really went ham onthis audit, which included a big
survey that nearly 50% ofmembers of Pro filled out, which
is unheard of for nearly 50% ofa community to fill out.
She also did one-on-oneinterviews with like a dozen

(15:18):
members of my community who areat different stages in the game,
and it gave us really good data.
We got a good sense of wheremembers were at, what has helped
them, that we want to continueto foster and do in pro, but
also what has led to some ofthese innovations and what's
going to help and gave me a goodidea of what to focus on moving
forward.
So the full audit andpresentation is inside of pro Uh
I.
I recapped a lot of what welearned about it, what some of

(15:42):
some of it was pretty surprisingand some of it was not
surprising at all.
It just reaffirmed the idea ofhaving these tiers, these, these
multiple options.
Um, so let's dive into thatbecause I really want to get to
what this survey kind of told us.
The big thing that the surveymade clear in the data, in

(16:03):
numbers, in the years ofexperience and where members are
at in their business is that wereally identified three types
of members.
So what?
I and I had an idea of this, but even the data really made
this more clear that there'sthree types of pro files.
I'm actually looking at theslides for this recap on this

(16:25):
audit and that's exactly what Isaid.
Members and pro have seen thiswhen I showed it off live.
But yeah, there's three types ofprofiles Number one are
builders, number two are growersand number three are scalers.
The difference between thethree is that a builder and
you're listening right now, youcan probably identify where

(16:46):
you're at.
You're definitely in one of thethree groups.
Now you may be straggling inbetween a couple of these, but
you're going to be primarily inone of these three groups
builder, grower or scaler andthis is important for the tier.
So keep that in mind.
But builders are typically earlystage web designers, commonly
one to two years in experience.
You may be you know brands, making new, or you may be side

(17:07):
hustling and you're looking toeventually go full time.
You're probably making lessthan 50 K in annual revenue.
If you're just starting, ofcourse, you're just looking for
your first client.
But if you've been doing it fora year or two, kind of on the
side, you still might be making20, 30, 40k and you're looking
towards six figures or to gofull time with this thing.
Now your challenges aredifferent than growers and

(17:30):
scalers.
I'm guessing if you're abuilder, you're an early stage
web designer.
You probably need help withsolidifying your offer, figuring
out your pricing, firming upyour tool stack.
You're still using a lot ofdifferent tools.
You're not sure what to committo.
Tell me if I'm wrong, but I'mguessing you need help with
getting clients and you justneed to learn how to run a

(17:50):
business, because most webdesigners we weren't trained in
this.
We built websites and then, before we know it, we had a
business, so we got to know howto run this thing.
So those are the common traitsfor number one, the category of
builders.
Growers are kind of the nextlevel.
These are established webdesigners or web designers who
those of you who have eyes onsix figures, your side hustles

(18:13):
cook in and you're really, really to do this thing, or
maybe you just went full time.
You have a different set ofchallenges.
You probably want help withbuilding recurring income.
Can I get an amen for somebody?
You need help with clarifyingyour offers.
You're doing a lot, probably,but I'm guessing clients are
getting a little confused and alittle jumbled and you may not
be sure how to offer those orwhen to offer those, and you

(18:35):
would like to group thosetogether and package them up.
You probably are ready to raiseyour rates.
You want to become moreprofitable, which means you got
to work on your systems and yougot to work on your processes
more, too, and you're probablylooking for the best marketing
strategies that work for you.
Those are the type of commonchallenges that we identified
for the second category ofgrowers grower, web designers,

(18:57):
established web designers andpro.
Not always, but commonly you'reprobably more like two to five
years in business and you'reprobably upwards of $50,000,
closing in on six figures, maybeeven low six figures like
$100,000 to $150K, and you'relooking to go to that next level
Because, depending on your lifesituation, if you have a family
and you're looking to go tothat next level Because,
depending on your life situation, if you have a family and

(19:18):
you're the sole income, ahundred grand may or may not be
enough You're probably lookingmore like 250,000.
You're looking for a quartermillion dollar business.
I heard somewhere recently thatquarter million is the new six
figures and I agree.
Has anyone seen inflation ormedical insurance prices and
stuff like that?
I mean, yeah, depending on yourlifestyle and situation, six

(19:40):
figures may get you there, butI'm actually really, really keen
on helping folks get to thatquarter million dollar range who
are in the grower category.
And then we discovered thatthere are scalers.
Scalers are true web businessor agency owners.
You're growing fast A lot ofyou in pro members who are
scalers.
You know who you are.
You've told me very commonchallenges that you have too

(20:03):
much work to keep up with.
And what's interesting is,commonly scalers may be more
established and have severalyears of experience, but we've
actually had a lot of membersbecome a scaler in a year.
Case in point Sam Sarsden, whowas on the podcast recently
talking about local SEO.
He is on track.
Actually, I think he justcrossed six figures in year one

(20:28):
in his business and he's alreadyscaling.
He's building a team.
So it can happen very fastdepending on if you have an area
of specialty, depending on yourexperience and confidence and
sales and what your life lookslike.
There's no rush to success, Ialways say, but either way you
can scale very quickly.
So years are not alwaysindicative of these categories.
But scalers, you have adifferent set of challenges.

(20:49):
As I mentioned, you're probablyoverwhelmed.
I'm guessing you're at a pointwhere you might wanna productize
your offers and make it lesscustom and less time intensive
for you.
You want those high payingclients.
You want to get rid of thebottom of the barrel, low ticket
clients.
You definitely are ready torefine your systems and
processes.
You're probably looking atdelegating and automating more

(21:09):
and maybe even building a team, and, as far as marketing goes,
you may be focused on moredifferent marketing style
approaches than growers andbuilders.
Depending on where you're at inyour business, you may just
need to market to your currentclients and not have to worry
about getting new clients asmuch.
So when we did this audit anddiscovered the years of

(21:30):
experience of members in prowhere everyone was in their
revenue numbers, what tools theywere using, where they were in
the game, where their challengeswere, where their pain points
were it was oh so clear thatthere are three types of
profiles builders, growers andscalers.
Now I want to ask you this is apodcast, so you can't talk to me
directly unless you're in proon the coaching level, because

(21:51):
you can DM me, but I want to askyou and I want you to be honest
and tell yourself where are you?
Are you a builder, are you agrower, or are you a scaler
Builder?
You're early stage, maybe acouple of years, a year or two
into your business.
Maybe you're closing in on 50.
You're starting or buildingyour business from the ground up
.
Are you a grower?

(22:12):
Are you established eitherclose to full-time or full-time,
with eyes on six figures ormaybe low six figures?
Or are you a scaler?
Are you a true business ownerwith experience, a growing
business, a growing team?
You're not really worried aboutrevenue as much as time.
Time is insanity.
Sanity is the thing you want toget back.

(22:34):
Well, that's exactly what wediscovered and that was the big
reason why I got the ballrolling on tiers, because the
new tiers that I just mentionedcourse, community and coaching
is really going to be ideal forevery one of these profiles.
So, if you are a builder, Iwould recommend starting with
the course tier, because thecourses and I will talk price

(22:56):
points here at the end coursesare there.
You can see them if you go towebdesignaprocom.
If you are a builder, coursesare going to be a great place to
start.
You are welcome to start at thecommunity level.
I'm not going to turn peopleaway from that but if you have
not gone through any of mycourses, I would recommend
starting there.
You're just you're going to.

(23:19):
You're going to be able to goat your own pace and then come
up to the community level.
You can upgrade anytime whenyou're ready and that way not
that I want to avoid beginnerquestions by any means, but I
have found that sometimes in mycoaching and posts and pro it's
best to go through the coursesfirst, because if you have a
question about your model orpricing, it's likely already
covered.
So I really really recommendthat you go through the courses

(23:40):
first at least my businesscourse and a couple others which
I'll guide you through.
But it's really ideal, if you'rea builder, to go through the
courses and then you can come upto the community level.
Although, again, if you aregung-ho and you're ready to rock
and you want to be in thecommunity and you want to join
our live trainings andeverything from the get-go, you
are welcome to and in Growers.

(24:01):
Ideally for you it's to comeinto the community because
there's still aspects ofcoaching at the community level
with monthly AMAs and you'll getthe replays to all of our
coaching calls.
There's a ton of value andobviously you get to access to
the entire community and all ofour forums.
So, growers, it's probablyideal that you start with the
community level, although if youare on the like professional

(24:25):
side of a grower and you areclosing in on six figures, then
you are welcome to join thecoaching tier before we hit the
wait list, because I do serve alot of members who are revenue
wise 50, 75 K and below and thenwe've been able to get them to
six figures really quickly withcoaching on top of everything
else.
So, uh, in most cases as agrower, I'd say the community

(24:49):
tier would be where I'd start.
But if you are again, if you, ifyou're, if you, if you feel
like you have the means and youcan make it work and you would
like to get coaching with medirectly as a grower, you are
welcome to I don't you knowpersonally coach, just scalers.
But scalers, again, you canjoin any level.
But I would recommend that youwould start with the coaching

(25:09):
because, generally scaling, Ieven have a course that
everybody can have access to inpro, even as a builder.
You can see what it's like toscale, or my recommendations to
scale.
But the course is called Scaleyour Way for a reason.
Your way is the key.
You really want to scale yourbusiness in the way that suits
you.
So that's where the coachingcomes into play, with that lot

(25:30):
of members at the scaling level, who I've actually expanded or
explored my personal networkwith and shared my network with,
who are utilizing either myteam or people in pro who I know
do certain things really well.
So team growth is a big one forscalers and you can get my
insight directly on what I'drecommend scaling for you and

(25:52):
we'll get into what's includedwith the tiers exactly.
But on the coaching level, wedo these weekly group style
coaching calls, as I mentioned.
They include hot seats, whichare just many member coaching
calls, and website reviews andthose kinds of things are great
because we look into businessesand what's working and where the
challenges are, where the painpoints are.

(26:13):
So, yes, as a scaler, you arewelcome to join just the
community level.
But if you want me to help youscale and to get more time back
faster, the coaching tier isgoing to be ideal for you.
So the tiers were a big.
The big reason for the tiers wasthe research that we did and
the data that we collected.

(26:34):
Thank you to Erica inidentifying these three profiles
builders, growers, scalers.
So which one are you?
Again, if you've beeninterested in pro and you've
been on the fence, here we go.
You now have a much morereasonable way to get into pro
if you're not ready to commit tothe coaching tier at 200 a

(26:55):
month.
So you have access to just thecourses if you want, or you can
just join the community and geta little bit of coaching and
when you're ready for more, josh, I'll be here for you.
It's sounding creepy, but youknow what I mean.
Now, a couple of things I wantto mention before I share
exactly the difference betweenthe tiers is.
I wanted to highlight somecommon challenges, which makes
even more sense for the tiers.

(27:16):
Now, as I mentioned, I'vealready talked with pro members
about this.
So, uh, we did a after theaudit.
I actually did a live call inpro and really set the stage for
all of this.
And by the time we got to thetiers cause I didn't want to
release the tears and freak anymembers out I didn't want any
members thinking, oh my gosh, what's Josh doing?
We have a low tier.

(27:37):
Is this going to become a 5,000person group?
No, absolutely not.
No interest in that.
I still always want a small, committed, premium, awesome
tribe of web designer pros, butI want to make it more
accessible for folks who areearly stage and who are growers.
That's really the goal of thesetiers.
So I had a much more robustpresentation leading up to this,

(27:59):
but I think even at this pointit probably makes sense as to
why we're releasing to the tiers.
And again, this has been a yearand a half in the works.
I have looked at every singlemembership model, I've looked at
multiple price points, I'velooked at so many different ways
to go about it and there's prosand cons to having tiers to
something Absolutely.

(28:20):
But I feel I strongly feel inmy heart and all members have
backed me up in saying that thismakes total sense.
And as one member said I thinkit was Jessica who said you are
removing boundaries for peopleto become a web designer pro by
having a courses tier and alower tier to get folks going to

(28:40):
become a web designer pro.
And here's a couple ofchallenges that I identified too
.
And then we'll we'll wrap thisup by sharing exactly the
difference between the tiers.
But what?
And I'll just be completelyhonest with you and transparent
for you and I know a lot of youare building memberships as well
and communities, and even foryour clients you may have a
client community.
So this is hopefully helpful, but the price point for pro has

(29:02):
been $199 a month for when itbecame pro all courses,
community and coaching.
Now that's still reallyreasonable that a lot of members
have said.
Some members are paying $5,000,$7, seven $10,000 for annual
access to programs that haveless coaching that I do, but I
felt like it was a good pricepoint to to again keep people

(29:23):
going for the longterm.
I don't want this to be likeyou go for six months and you're
done.
I want to serve you for as longas you're in the game, so I
want to keep the pricingaffordable.
But builders, early stage webdesigners I understand 200 bucks
a month is is not practicalunless you are like Sam or some
other members who make that upreally quickly and that's not to

(29:46):
throw shade at anyone who isn'tdoing like getting clients fast
.
But there's just so manyvariables and so many elements
to you grow in your business.
Some people come from abackground where they're just
confident in sales or they'reconfident with tech.
You'll have an easiertrajectory in the beginning than
somebody who's new to all this.
So I found that people who arepaying the 200 bucks a month.

(30:09):
The big problem was they wererushing through courses and I
had a lot of people reach backout to me when they left pro to
say that I just I had to rushthrough courses.
I was trying to make up theinvestment, but I just can't
right now, like there's a lotgoing on, and that really told
me that my goal and I don't wantthe experience for members to

(30:32):
be rushed.
I never want somebody to feellike they paid something and
they're just trying to cram inas much as they can in a month
or two and then leave.
That is not the goal of pro.
It's not good for me, it's notgood for you, it's not the
experience I want.
I want you to be able to getthe info you need at your pace
although I'm going to challengeyou to make it a project and

(30:53):
actually get stuff done.
But I don't want you to feelrushed.
No one learns well when you'rerushed.
So that was a biggie, because Ihave an automated email that
goes out when somebody leavespro and it's just real casual
and says hey, I'd love to hearyour feedback.
Constructive criticism, honestyis best, and that was a really
common thing that members weresaying they were just rushing

(31:15):
through content to just try toget the most out of it in hopes
to stay in pro or eventually tocome back.
So that was a big challengethat I saw is to avoid that
rushing.
I also know that my audience isglobal and 200 USD is very
expensive as far as currencychanges in other countries.

(31:35):
So, with inflation andeverything else going on I know
we're just past the election, but inflation and currency
exchanges or changes everythingall these things are factors
that make 200 a month a lot.
Even if you're a professionalweb designer, it can be a lot.
So another reason why I wantedto have some more options for

(31:55):
web designer pros Some webdesigner pro members have asked
about a team option.
So a lot of you, the scalers inparticular, you have a growing
team.
You may want your team memberto go through the courses.
You want them to go through myprocess course, my design course
, my Divi course for those ofyou who are using Divi.
You want them to go through mySEO course.
So now, with this courses tieroption, you have a team option

(32:22):
and I'm really, really excitedabout that.
Actually, we've already got afew team members in there.
I've done early access forcertain pro members and it's
gone over really well by havingthis course option for just team
members.
And then I had a lot of memberswho wanted more.
They wanted more guidance, theywanted more intensive coaching
and support.
They wanted more Josh and, as Imentioned, because I'm nearing

(32:43):
capacity, I wanted to make sureI protect this and everyone who
is in pro now on the coachingtier just know you're going to
be getting a lot more Josh.
I've actually already evenstarted to randomly reach out to
members just to do check-insand I'm going to be doing better
at being more proactive andpersonal with everyone on the

(33:04):
coaching tier because I'mprotecting my time.
I mean, as you can imagine, Icould spend all day just
messaging members in pro if Iwanted to, but I got to protect
that.
I've got courses to revamp andI've got a podcast to run and
I've got other stuff to do aswell in the business.
So I need to make sure Iprotect my coaching and, as I
mentioned from the outset, Iwill never be a half-ass coach.
I'm going to do it.

(33:25):
I mean, a lot of members havesaid like I can't believe the
detailed responses you give me.
That's my goal.
I want to continue that.
Protecting my time andsustainability is key and,
lastly, I wanted to serve all ofthe profiles.
I wanted to serve builders, Iwant to serve growers and I want
to serve scalers.
We have such a lovely mix inpro of all and I didn't want to

(33:46):
separate them because one idea Ihave which is common for a lot
of memberships is to have aseparate community.
You have like a startercommunity and then you have a
pro community or a masterycommunity.
But and I think Alexia, who wasrecently on the podcast, said
this when I did this live call, she even said like please don't
separate the beginners, becausethe beginners learn so much from

(34:09):
the growers and the advancedscalers and pro and so many
examples of people who have goneso far so fast in pro.
It's because we have thishealthy mix of people who are
eager and new and learning, whoare learning from the pros and a
lot of the pro level membersand coaching members are feeling
really good about sharing whatthey've learned and we're all

(34:30):
learning together.
And just because you're agrower or a scaler doesn't mean
that you can't learn fromnewbies like early stage
designers and new.
Like.
Speaking of Alexia top of mind, since we just had her on the
podcast and episode three 50,she shared her launch plan,
which was chock full ofmarketing strategies for social

(34:50):
media that even somebody 15years into the game could use.
In fact, I've heard from a lotof members who, even though
Alexi is an early stage designerin the first year of her
business, they're learning fromher about how to market on
social media and and relaunchtheir business or launch a new
service.
So I'm getting chills right nowjust thinking about how well

(35:11):
these marry together.
And we've just, I have to sayI'm so proud of the current web
designer pro members for makinga truly unicorn community.
I mean, I'm in a few othercommunities and this is not the
norm, guys.
The circle team has told memultiple times that we are a um.
We are what's known as a highuh.

(35:32):
Oh, what did they call it?
It's like a high energy or highsignal.
We are a high signal community, meaning for the amount of
members that we have, which isunder 250, that the amount of
engagement we have is off thecharts.
In fact, we have almost 90%engagement in members, which

(35:53):
again, wild.
So hats off to Web Designer Promembers for making it what it
is and now being able to go to2.0.
So I'm going to wrap this upwith all the differences between
these tiers and we'll talkpricing too.
So if you haven't gone toWebDesignerProcom to look at it,
since it's live now the threetiers let's go backwards.

(36:15):
We'll start with the coachingtier.
The coaching tier is going toremain at 200 a month for now.
Now, as we get to a wait listand as I do more and more
coaching just a heads up mycoaching is going to increase.
I feel like I am definitelyvaluable enough to coach people
at this level and the reality isI've made over $2 million now

(36:37):
as an entrepreneur of 15 years.
I have built up a six figurebusiness, sold a six figure
business.
I've overseen so many webdesigners who are full time and
now building and scaling ontheir own.
I've uh, I've learned from somany podcast guests, as I
mentioned, on what's working, and I have access to literally
millionaires in the space.
That coaching is what you getfor 200 a month right now,

(37:00):
directly, 24, seven as acoaching to your member.
That's, that's what you get.
You get all of those strategiesand more customized to you.
So all that to say 200 a month,I think is a screaming bargain
for my coaching right now.
Eventually that'll go up, butno timetable on that.
As long as I stay sustainableand as long as it's going well,
we're going to do that.

(37:20):
And whenever you join pro, yourprice point will always be
honored.
So just know that whenever youjoin, it's always going to be
honored.
So I'm never going to increaseyour rates, you know, month to
month.
So that's the coaching level.
The community level is only 99.
I am making access to WebDesigner Pro available now today

(37:42):
the full community at 99 bucksa month.
And the courses level here yougo Course access to every single
one of my courses and I'm goingto give you a roadmap guide
through the courses to get youready to come up to the
community level 49 a month.

(38:02):
Now, if you told Josh two yearsago that you would give access
to everyone to all of yourcourses for 49 bucks a month, I
would say, uh, no, no, that's no.
My courses are valuable, mylike and I do, I do.
I really still strongly believethat.
That's why I like.
My business course waspreviously a thousand dollars,

(38:24):
because that information hasliterally helped people
transform their business andbuild a business that is making
six figures.
But here's what I've realized, especially over the past year or
two, is as much as informationis valuable.
You need more to really make itwork.
Ongoing.
So information is thefoundation, but to keep it going

(38:47):
, you need community.
You really need more and, as weall know, web design is moving
so fast.
There's a lot of areas ofspecialty and skillset and
expertise that I don't have orI'm just not super interested in
, like I'm only going topersonally go so far into
privacy, accessibility, speedoptimization we just had a chat

(39:08):
about copy and conversion rateoptimization.
Those are things that I go intoa little bit, but I'm bringing
in experts to fill the gaps thatI don't cover in my courses,
which is where the pro communityhas a full training archive and
live monthly trainings withguest experts.
That's all included and that'swhat has really helped people
continue on.
And then, of course, mycoaching, as I mentioned I you

(39:30):
know I gave you my resume thereof coaching that is in your
pocket, inside of what is on apro, because you have a pro app
if you want it to at any time, and I've really found that
that's what people need.
Ongoing is not just the coursesthat will really help you get
going, but you need communitysupport.
It's not just you.
There's a reason why the worstsentence in prison is solitary

(39:53):
confinement, because if you goalone, you can only go so far.
You'll likely burn out, You'lltrust your own negative thoughts
and it's just not good.
You need a community and that'swhy I'm so excited to now have
this tier at 99 bucks a monthsuper affordable.
It's going to be worth, youknow it's going to be applicable
or it's going to be accessibleto so many people.

(40:15):
And if you're not ready forthat, start with the courses.
For less than 50 bucks a month, access to all of my courses.
So if you have been on thefence and you have been
listening to the podcast, you'relike man, I'd love to go
through Josh's course, but it'sa thousand dollars or I'm not
ready to join pro at 200 a month, 49 bucks a month, friend, here
you go.
And if you're ready for thecommunity and you just want to

(40:37):
see what it's all about, thecommunity level is ready for you
at 99 a month.
And for those of you who'vebeen on the fence, who want to
lock in coaching because againI'm dead serious, I am nearing
capacity I will be moving to awaitlist model with coaching
very soon, likely by the end ofthe year, depending on how many
folks join over the next fewweeks and couple months.
Here, coaching is availablecurrently at $1.99 a month.

(40:58):
Your price point will always belocked in.
Those are the tiers, my friends.
Now the nitty gritty here beforewe wrap this up.
The courses tier excuse me for49 bucks a month, it's instant
on-demand access, 24-7 access,all of my courses.
I also have a roadmap guide foryou to follow.
That is what's included in thecourses tier.

(41:20):
Again, great for teams too.
If you are a pro member or ascaler who want to have a team
member join, you can do that.
Then also, as a bonus right now, I'm going to give you access,
even on the courses tier, to theprivate pro podcast.
If you didn't know, we have adedicated Web Designer Pro
Podcast that has every singlereplay of all of my weekly

(41:44):
coaching calls.
So, yes, you can listen in onthe coaching calls.
49 bucks a month, every singlecoaching call on your private
podcast feed and all my courses.
It's available for you rightnow.
So that is the big bonus.
And you'll get the audioversions of the replays on the
trainings that we do as well.
So you get all coaching callsand all training replays on the

(42:06):
private pro podcast feed.
That's a tough one to say.
For the coaching for the coursestier.
The community tier includeseverything in pro, just no
direct coaching with me.
So you'll get access toeverything in the courses tier
all community forums, which thecommunity.
There's a.
There's going to be a videothat comes out this week as well

(42:27):
with the tiers and that's goingto be visual so you can see
inside a pro.
But the community forums includesupport, challenges,
accountability.
You can put yourself on thepros for hire list.
You can get access to all ofour group chat spaces.
You get access to monthly liveAMA office hours with me.
So there is some coaching.

(42:48):
It's just not direct weeklycoaching calls but you will get
office hours with me every monthto get your questions in.
You will also be available forthe affiliate program.
So at the community level, youcan join the pro affiliate
program and build recurringincome and passive income by
being an affiliate and you cansell your affiliate program to
just the courses if you want.
So I'm going to be doing a lotmore for affiliates moving

(43:09):
forward.
You also get access to ourweekly virtual pro hangouts
Every week.
Members just go live and talkshop and have topical chats and
support each other, and you'llget access to all of the meetups
and events that we do in personand virtual as a community tier
member level.
Again, it just doesn't includelive access to the weekly group

(43:29):
coaching calls or DM with me,but you will get access to me in
the forums and monthly officehours.
And, yes, you'll get access tothe pro podcast feed and
currently, everyone who joinsright now I will give you access
to all the coaching callreplays, the video version,
because we do do a lot of visualthings there.
So that's the community forumand, as we mentioned, if you

(43:53):
want a little more, josh, that'swhat the coaching tier includes
everything we covered.
And you get access to theweekly group coaching style
calls with me, where we do hotseats, website reviews, strategy
talk.
We do AMA and Q&A in there aswell, but it's really fun
because it's always different.
New members always come up andwe're making those more and more

(44:14):
interactive and one reason I'mat capacity with those is those
are already stretching to 90minutes per week.
So we are definitely nearingcapacity on the coaching calls
as well.
And, again, you get 24-7 directmessage access to me for
coaching.
I check in with you with yourgoals.
We have accountability thereand then we are going to be
doing more and more VIP-styleevents and in-person and virtual

(44:38):
events for coaching tiermembers.
And currently it does make youeligible for an annual option.
If you want to lock in proannually I've had that since I
launched pro you can still getaccess to that.
That includes two months freeand a one-on-one coaching call
with me, private, anytime inyour in your annual membership.

(44:59):
Now you don't need to go for ayear and stop pro, but you can
always downgrade if you wantedto or you could go to monthly,
month-to-month at that level.
But this does give you anoption.
For those who do go annual, youget two months free of pro and
a one-on-one coaching call withme at any time in your
subscription.
So there we go, friends.
Web Designer Pro 2.0, tierscourses community coaching 49

(45:25):
bucks all of my courses.
The private pro podcast feedcommunity 99 bucks everything in
the courses, everything in thecommunity just doesn't include
my direct coaching.
And in the coaching tier $1.99a month or $1.99 a year all of
the courses, all the communityand me coaching you directly.

(45:48):
There we go, friends.
I hope you are pumped.
I'm so excited to see more ofyou in the community level, so
excited to help those of you whoare not ready to commit to pro
at the community or coachinglevel.
But you just want to go throughthe courses, here we go 49
bucks a month and again you'llget the private pro podcast feed
.
Um, steal of a deal.

(46:08):
I mean I might be biased, butthat like, show me a better
offer in web design than thecourses tier and the pro podcast
in web design than the coursestier and the pro podcast private
, confidential coaching feed for49 bucks a month.
Let's go, my friends.
As the kids say these days, let's go.
Go to web designer procom.
That has all the info for it.

(46:29):
If you have any questions, goto joshhallco slash contact.
I'm still balancing like theweb designer.
Procom is just the landing pageright now, so everything else
is still at joshhallco head overthere.
Go to joshhallco, slash contactIf you have any questions.
But, my friends, let's havesome fun.
I hope you're pumped.

(46:49):
I am ecstatic about this.
Can you sense the excitement?
This has been literally a yearand a half in the works to
finally have more opportunitiesfor those of you who want to
have access to pro but don'tneed everything, don't need
coaching it or can't afford thecoaching.
Yet Now this is going to helpso many people and everyone.
I just lastly to the webdesigner pro members who have

(47:12):
made this community what it is.
We are just going to continueto make this better and better
and better.
We are just going to continueto make this better and better
and better.
I have no interest on being ahuge Facebook style group, but
the reality is I want to helpmore people and this gives us
the opportunity to do that.
By the way, we have a lot ofpeople in the courses tier
already.
Already, I've given earlyaccess and pro members.

(47:33):
You don't even know anythingabout them because when you're
on the courses tier, um, promembers at community and
coaching level will never seeyour profile.
It's basically just gives youhidden access to the courses and
then, when you're ready, youget access to the community or
coaching level when you're readyto upgrade.
So, oh my gosh, friends, I'mpumped.
I'll see you in Web DesignerPro.

(47:53):
Have you been on the fence?
You've been dying to get in.
Here we go.
My friends, I will not be doinga black Friday sale.
Don't hold out for that.
I'm not doing a black Fridaysale this year.
I just don't like doing salesand discounts.
Uh, with a subscription likethis with a value I mean it's
already 49 bucks a month for allcourses in the pro podcast feed
I am not going to be doing asale for black Friday Now.

(48:14):
Everyone who joins during thislaunch of 2.0, I've got some
bonuses I already mentioned.
But I may or may not be doingsomething extra special for
everyone who joins over the nextweek here during the launch.
So it's not going to be adiscount.
I'm not discounting pro, butgot a little, got some ideas,
might do something special foryou, maybe even pop in and give
you some loom videos, websitereviews, stuff like that.

(48:36):
So this week, guys, join us,webzennerpro 2.0, go to
WebZennerProcom, join thecourses tier at 49, community
tier at 99.
Or if you want to be one of thelast handful who wants to get
into my coaching, it's allavailable for you now.
I hope you enjoyed this one, friends.
Just disclaimer these pricepoints in this offer may change,

(48:57):
if you're listening to this, months or years down the road.
So this is kind of a timelyannouncement style episode.
So full disclaimer.
This is this is viable and, um,you know, applicable only right
now, in this window.
But again, whenever you joinpro, you will be honored, you
will be, you'll be honored tojoin my community.
Your price point will behonored.
That's what I meant to say.

(49:17):
All right, my friends, I'll seeyou in web designer pro, at
whatever tier.
