WordCamp.tv: https://wordpress.tv/category/wordcamptv/ Transcript of Cami's Commentary: Last night, I hosted the Fundamentals online Meetup for the Seattle WordPress Meetup Group. Most of the attendees were relatively new to working with WordPress. During the Meetup, I shared some exciting news: the Seattle WordPress Meetup group plans to hold a WordCamp again in 2024. Ten years after attending my first WordCamp, I am immersed in our local WordPress community and planning to put together our first return to WordCamp since 2019. Seeing how far things have come since my first WordCamp experience in 2013 is incredible. I can't help but love WordCamps, mainly because they allow me to reconnect with friends I've made over the years at various other WordCamps. It's truly delightful to have friends from different parts of the world who share the same passion for WordPress. One of the highlights of WordCamps is the informative talks, and for me, I particularly love those related to running you business. This year, I spoke at my first WordCamp, sharing my insights on running my business solo and time management. The best parts of experiencing of being a speaker was seeing all my friends from around the globe there in the audience for moral support and connecting with new designers that found value in my time management tips. It was a new view of WordCamps for me. As the date for WordCamp approaches, my excitement grows, and I'm looking forward to meeting new web designers at the event. It's incredible to think back to when I first started attending WordCamps, and I remember even being concerned about the minimal expense it would incur to attend the local one. Since then, I've had the chance to participate in WordCamps in various cities, from Portland and Sacramento to Nashville, St. Louis, and San Diego. Next on my list is the WordCamp in Maryland, just outside of DC, even though it'll be hot and humid in August! I can't wait for WordCamp US! WordCamps continue to be a source of inspiration, learning, and community, and I can't wait for the upcoming event. Whether you're a WordPress freelancer, small business owner, or a seasoned professional, I encourage you to check out a WordCamp near you and experience the fantastic community and knowledge-sharing firsthand.
