This Week’s Habit:

Take Something Off Your Plate to reduce overwhelm in your workload.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Why it’s important to regularly evaluate your workload and let go of what no longer serves you.
  • How removing even meaningful or productive commitments can be the healthiest choice.
  • Simple steps to identify and release what’s creating pressure or burnout in your life and business.

Practical Steps to Get Started:

  1. Make a Full List – Write down all your current commitments, both personal and professional.
  2. Identify What’s Weighing You Down – What feels heavy or no longer aligned with your priorities?
  3. Let Go of One Thing – Say no, pause it, delegate it, or drop it—without guilt.
  4. Create Space – Use the breathing room to rest, refocus, or give more energy to what matters most.
  5. Check In Regularly – Reevaluate your obligations often, especially when you feel stretched thin.

A Note from Cami:

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to pause this podcast indefinitely. While I love connecting with you each week, recording and producing this show has become the thing that tips my weekly workload into overwhelm. Letting go of it—at least for now—is the best way for me to take care of myself and stay focused on what I do best.

Who This Episode Is For:

Web designers and solopreneurs who need permission to stop overcommitting and start choosing ease and sustainability.

Reflection on Last Week’s Habit:

Ask for Client Reviews

Last week’s habit was about requesting client testimonials—something I didn’t manage to do. And that’s okay. I’ll be asking at least one client for a review this week, because done is better than perfect.
