Alora (00:00):
Welcome or welcome back
to the Wedding CEO Podcast.
(00:02):
I am here a day late because Ihad whatever sickness that has
been going around sinceDecember.
It took me out, you guys, for aweek and a half and for a week,
I did not have a voice.
I could not speak to anyone andit wasn't like a very phlegmy
(00:23):
sickness.
It was a sickness where Mythroat felt sore, and I also
couldn't talk, and I didn'treally want to eat anything.
And lost a ton of weight.
Was feeling myself, not gonnalie.
But, then reality hits, and yougo back to your regular habits.
But, it was just a really weirdsickness.
(00:43):
And I'm the kind of girl whoeither gets sick once a year, or
not at all.
And, I think this was my once ayear.
I hope it was my once a year.
Cause, normally I do not getsick in the beginning of the
year.
It gets me towards the end ofthe year.
My immune system is okay, cool,we're done.
No.
The girl goes to two funeralsand comes back home, deceased.
(01:04):
It was absolutely terrible.
Do not wish on my worst enemy, and I don't even have enemies,
but, zero out of ten.
I had a whole series ready in mymind.
It was outlined, ready to go,and it was not able to be
scheduled because the batch weekwas going to be the week that I
was sick.
Go figure.
So this is a day late, normallyI post offices on Tuesdays, it's
(01:26):
Wednesday, whatever, you canforgive me.
But, I wanted to talk about someof the changes we're going to be
making to the wedding CEO andwhat's been going on with this
entire rebrand.
Now, I actually don't rememberthe episode I posted previously,
so I may have touched on this alittle bit, but just go with me.
A couple of things wedding CEO'sname is going to be changed, And
(01:49):
it's going to actually representthe real result of the program.
Like, when I originally createdWedding CEO, it was because I
wanted everybody to do businessexactly the same way as me.
I started a business, I tripledmy prices, I launched a team, I
made multiple six figures and socan you.
But everybody's journey andbusiness looks different, but
(02:11):
there's so many ways that Youcan make six figures in your
business, and it does not haveto be my tried and proven way.
And so I'm actually rebuildingthe program.
It's going to launch when it'stime for the full rebrand and
everything.
My rebrand and my personal brandis finally getting adjusted.
I feel like I just scrapped somecolors together.
(02:31):
Got a good website template andwas like, okay, I'm here.
I am an educator.
And now, I have such a greatunderstanding of my teaching
style, the results that I'vebeen able to, achieve with my
students, and just seeing thepatterns, and seeing what
Wedding CEO really is.
And I'm just gonna tell you flatout, it's a sales program.
(02:54):
In this program, you make money.
It's not a very much if you'renew to business like you have
been in business a minute andYou're maybe got to a certain
level of success and you feelstuck and you're like, okay, was
this it like I'm at 3k I'mtrying to get to 5k or I'm at 5k
trying to get to 7k trying toget to 10k How do I do that?
(03:14):
I feel so stuck in my pricingI'm stuck in my work, stuck in
my style, I feel like I have nodirection.
I'm burned out.
I'm on the way to burnout.
I want to grow a family.
And so these are all the thingsmy students have been telling me
for years.
And I'm like, okay, it's time tomake wedding CEO or whatever the
new program name is going to bea full on sales program.
(03:37):
And there's just so many waysyou can make money, let alone a
hundred K six figure business.
But even then the ultimate goalis like time freedom.
Can you make the same amount ofmoney sacrificing way less
weekends and less time?
And how can you?
shortcut to success.
(03:57):
But that's the whole point.
That was my biggest goal when Iwas growing my business.
I'm like, how can I shortcut thehustle?
Like I hustled for two years, didn't like it, hated it, was
miserable, mentally unstable.
If you're on this road rightnow, then you're probably
nodding your heads like, yep,I'm there.
I'm close.
I'm just not sure.
(04:17):
And you get to this point whereyou almost want to burn the
entire business to the groundbecause, You're like, what have
I built?
This is not why I left my nineto five.
This is not why I went all ininto my business.
This is not the kind of lifethat I wanted to live.
And it's a dance.
You have to learn how to balancebusiness and let the business be
(04:38):
a business.
And then you also have to letyour life exist.
Like I remember I would beediting until midnight.
Sometimes I literally would beediting and catching up or I
would put things off to the lastminute.
And I would have to batch abunch of galleries the same day.
I felt bad.
I would put my daughter to bed,and then I would go back on the
computer.
(04:58):
And then my husband would belike, hey, so are you gonna
sleep tonight?
I'm like, nope, I'm actuallygonna stay up till 2am, because
I'm the problem.
And now, I'm just like, if itdoesn't save me time, if there's
not a strategy in place here, ifthere's no end goal I'm not
doing it.
And so that's what I want you tolearn in WeddingCEO.
I want you to have a consistentand constant sales strategy
(05:22):
behind every single thing thatyou do.
I don't want you to just dostuff.
And so one of the things thatI'm focusing on is I really want
WeddingCEO to be neurodivergentproof.
And that means catering to allof the learning styles, whether
it's audio and video, hands on,reading it like all those
(05:43):
things.
I'm like, how can I make surethat there is just no excuse And
there's no way that you can'tnot get a result in this program
I want to make sure that everysingle eye is dotted and T is
crossed And I also want thisprogram to be mom proof I want
women to feel comfortable comingon the calls with their babies
(06:05):
with their kids.
If they're muted.
It's fine That's what I want.
I want everyone to feelcomfortable.
This is not a judge y zone.
Yes, we're here to make money, but business is messy, life is
messy, kids are messy, and I'vebeen there.
I've done that.
There were so many times I'vebeen on coaching calls with my
video screen off, and I was justfeeding my son.
(06:27):
I was like, sorry I can't get onand ask my question.
I'm gonna ask it in the chatbecause My son's a newborn and
he's eating all the time.
So that's one thing that'sreally important to me.
And also asynchronous, which islike word of the year for two
and a half years now in terms ofgetting things done.
How can we make thisasynchronous?
How can this be a submission andfeedback on our own time kind of
(06:48):
thing?
And so I want to implement moreasynchronous ways of
communication where you cansubmit something, then I will
submit something, and we can goback and forth that way if
you're just so busy.
You'd rather just submitsomething, get the result, get
back to work.
Totally fine.
I just want this program to workfor every single person's
lifestyle.
But there also is a 24 7community if you like to yap.
(07:11):
If you want to ask questions, ifyou want suggestions, if you're
constantly looking for secondshooters, all of those things
and more have been asked in thecommunity.
To the point, I think, wheresome people were like, Hey, so
like How do you fix your pricingguide?
Or can you guys show me examplesof this?
Or what softwares are we usingright now?
And what's with the honey bookdebacle and who's using dub
(07:33):
saddle?
We talk about everything in thecommunity.
If you're a yapper and you justwant that connection, you feel
like you're just isolated in theindustry, then the community is
for you, right?
The third thing is I want thisto be busy season proof, which
is why I have incorporatedprivate podcasts because I know
one thing about me and I justremember Always being on the way
(07:53):
to a shoot.
There's a portrait session.
It could have been a brandsession, lifestyle session,
engagement session, and wedding.
And I remember investing inprograms, investing in courses,
and it was so hard to, learn onthe go.
I don't want that to be aproblem because this is for
people who are busy and on theway to burnout.
They're probably shuffling backand forth to sessions weddings
(08:17):
life and maybe a nine to five Iwant this to be where you can
binge the call replays on the goand figure out what you've
missed, listen to whateverybody's talking about,
listen to the industry thingsthat's going on, and also listen
to other people's questions andlearn from their questions if
you have a similar question.
And then also the coursecurriculum is on a private
podcast.
So if you just need to click andlisten to something while you're
(08:39):
driving, it's safe to do that.
Okay.
And then the fourth thing, Iwant this to be burnout proof.
And honestly, this is a simplesolution, but one lesson at a
time.
I know that some people log intoa program and they try to binge
as much as possible in a day, ina week, and I don't want you to
(08:59):
do that.
I want you to take a lesson andImplement these with the
assignment, and then go to thenext lesson.
And it doesn't have to be all inthe same day.
You could do one lesson a day,and you will still get results,
I promise you.
Most of our students get resultsin 30 days, and there's barely
even 30 lessons in this program.
So even then you can dial it allthe way back.
(09:22):
And, I am going to beincorporating more AI buddies,
which I am so excited.
I am a chat GPT lover.
You cannot get me off chat GPTlike you cannot I first was like
I don't like this what happenswhen the robots take over are we
gonna be in danger soon?
But now I'm all the way in and Iam constantly thinking about
(09:42):
prompts To save time, createcontent very strategically,
editing and revamping, and myGPT is so smart y'all because
I'll tell you one thing, I amconstantly asking questions.
But, we also have custom GPTsfor the program, so you can type
in anything you want and it'salready going to be programmed
to answer it like I would.
I know, you're welcome.
(10:03):
That's a couple of the changeswe're going to be making in
addition to the name.
And I don't know, I am reallyexcited about this, what's like
behind the rebrand series andjust talking to you guys, what's
been going on.
I have since then hired 10strategists to help me with this
rebrand.
And it's to the point where I'mlike, I need to stop, I need to
stop investing, but I can'tbecause I feel like every single
(10:25):
piece is going to come intogether perfectly.
And, yeah, I don't know.
It's gonna be exciting.
And all of the wins can we just, can we give it up for the
Wedding CEO alumni who have made2 million?
What in the world?
I always put in there we'remaking a goal of getting to a
million, or getting to 2million, or 3 million.
(10:45):
But thinking about that, collectively as a whole, they
have made 2 million.
Most coaches and educators willtalk about how much they made,
but I like to talk about howmuch my students made because I
think that is better than howmuch money I've made.
My stuff works, okay?
But even then, hand-drawn theprogram is going to be revamped.
It's going to be amazing.
I am so excited about thisdiscovery of myself.
(11:08):
I just, I don't think I reallyknew me.
And it's so funny because like Italk about how much I love
ramen.
But I was on a call with anotherstrategist I hired, she's a case
study expert, and like she wasgoing through my case studies
and I was like gobbling someramen down before I had to get
my kids from school, and I'mjust like, wow, this is so on
brand for me.
(11:29):
Should I take a selfie?
And I was like, no, you can'tbecause the call is on your
phone.
I digress.
Anyways if you're listening tothis and you're like, whoa, this
program sounds amazing.
Go ahead and watch my free microclass on how to book your next
wedding inquiry.
Yes.
I'm going to give you just alittle tidbit, like a little
sneak peek of the salespsychology process of getting on
(11:51):
a call with your clients, makingsure they're comfortable
answering their questions andtheir objections and following
up with an inquiry email thatkeeps you from getting ghosted.
And I also have linked belowthat training, where you can
just snag the email template andplug and play your own thing.
So definitely check that out.
The link is in the show notes.
And if you're listening at thetime of this recording, I will
(12:13):
be turning it off soon becauseI've been getting a lot of
these, but I am offering pricingaudits for the first X amount of
people that go ahead and submityour current pricing to me.
I will give you some five minutefeedback on ways that you can
improve.
And, yeah, I think that'samazing.
It's 100 percent free 99, so youshould definitely check that
(12:34):
out.
And I hope you have an amazingweek, and stay safe out there,
guys.
Don't go outside, becauseeverybody's sick.
There's seven different virusesout there, and yeah.
As your eldest daughter andfriend, I'm looking out for you.
I hope you have an amazing week, and I will see you in the next
episode.
Bye!
