Brandee Gaar (00:00):
If I had to start from zero, no leads, no brand,
no team, and I wanted to makea hundred thousand dollars in
2025, here is the exact strategyI would use and no, it's
not, post more on Instagram.
I built a multi six-figurewedding business and
then hit total burnout.
So I rebuilt it intoa company that now
completely runs without me.
And now I coach thousandsof wedding pros from

(00:22):
all over the world, howto do exactly the same.
over 1200 students, millions in booked revenue.
So yeah, this isn't theory.
Let's get into the strategy.
okay, the first thing thatI would do if I was trying
to build a hundred thousanddollars in revenue, starting
from zero right here in2025, is to shift my mindset.
And you may be like, oh,I'm turning this off.

(00:42):
This is all, woo.
This is all fluff, but stickwith me, CEO, because this is
the piece that you cannot skip.
This is the foundation.
this is how you go from havinga few clients trickling in
every single month to goingafter it and starting to
run your business Like abusiness, you have to stop
thinking like a creative,a dj, a planner, a florist,
a stationer, whatever it isthat you are, you have to stop

(01:04):
thinking like a creative andstart strategizing like a CEO.
This is the most overlookedpiece of building your business
to that first six figures.
To start thinking like aCEO, there's a few things
that you need to do.
Number one is to knowyour numbers, understand
them inside and out.
How many leads do you get?
How many book aconsultation, how many
actually turn into bookings?

(01:24):
How many people are clickingthrough on your marketing?
How many people arelanding on your website?
How many people are clickingyour link in bio to book
a consultation with you?
These are numbers thatyou may not overlook.
You must understand themexactly every single month
how you're increasingthem month over month.
Number two, you makedata-driven decisions.
You use the data that you'recollecting because you now

(01:44):
know your numbers and you'remaking decisions based on that.
Instead of emotion, fear, whatever you're feeling like
when you wake up that day, you're making decisions based
on fact, not on emotions.
And number three, you're notpricing your packages on a whim.
You're pricing them based onthe exact profitability that
you've set for your business.
You are not just a creative, you're a business owner,
so start acting like one.

(02:05):
The second thing that Iwould do if I was building
a hundred thousand dollarshere in 2025 from zero
Is to build demand fast.
You know what you're selling.
You know what you're pricing itat, but now you need eyeballs.
You need customers.
You need people who are readyto hand you their credit
card for your expertise.
But how do you do that?
The first thing you're gonnado is to pick one platform,
Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok,YouTube, whatever platform

(02:26):
that you choose, but you'regoing to pick that one, master
it, and go all in on it.
Number two, you're gonna postthree to five times a week
at least, And you're gonnaspeak directly to the pain
point of your ideal couple.
Now, you may be thinking,Brandee engaged couples
don't have pain points.
That sounds so weird.
What exactly am Isupposed to say?
But they do, in facthave pain points.
Think about it.
An engaged couple hasno ideal what to do

(02:49):
first, what to do next.
They have so many questionssurrounding the budget, when
to send invitations, how to pickdresses, what to ask vendors,
how to pick the correct venue.
All the things, right?
How to make their guest list.
There are so many questionsrunning through their head.
So their pain point istheir lack of knowledge.
You are the expert, youhave the knowledge, you have
the service they desire.
So show up online and let themknow that you have exactly

(03:12):
what they're looking for.
And number three is to showyour face and use your voice.
People buy from peoplethey know, like, and trust.
I feel like I have said thisuntil I am a clinging gong,
but I still see so many weddingpros who are hiding behind
a logo, who are refusingto show their face But gone
are the days where this is aluxury or this is optional.
You must put your face onsocial media so that your

(03:34):
engaged couples, those engagedcouples who are looking for
you can get to know, like, and trust you, understand
a little bit more about whoyou are before they ever get
to a consultation with you.
When you master this step, when you get relentless in
the pursuit of getting yourface out, of getting leads
in the door who are uniquelyqualified to work with you,
when this becomes an obsessionfor you those leads are so

(03:58):
warm before they ever booka consultation, it will make
the next step even easier.
So the third thing that Iwould do if I was building
that first six figures fromzero here in 2025 would be
to master the art of selling.
Money is made in the salesconversation and too many
wedding pros use the excusethat they don't wanna sound
salesy, so they never sell.

(04:18):
In reality, what they'redoing is they're shying
away from the hard stuff.
Instead of going in and actinglike a closer and understanding
that they have exactly whatthe engaged couples sitting
in front of them needs, they have the solution
to that couple's problem.
So what does that mean?
How do you master the artof a sales conversation?
Number one, I'd usethe assume method.
this is my signature frameworkon exactly how to run a

(04:40):
consultation so that you getto know the couple and you
ask for the close right thereduring the consultation.
if you wanna know more aboutexactly how to implement My
Assume Method, just click thelink in the description below.
We have an absolutely freetraining that you can watch.
I promise you, it'll be thebest 15 minutes that you spend
in your business this year.
Number two, I wouldguide every single call
toward a yes or a no.

(05:01):
If they are not ready to signthe contract there during the
consultation, or immediatelyafter, set a follow-up date.
Don't just say, okay, I'llcheck in with you in a few
days, or Let me know ifyou have any questions.
Absolutely not.
You need to seta follow-up date.
What is the date that you'regonna follow up with them?
So that both of you have aclear understanding of when
a decision is being made.
number three, I wouldaim for a 70% close rate

(05:23):
from your consultations.
Now, this does notmean 70% of all of your
leads are gonna book.
It means that 70% of all ofyour consultations are going
to become paying clients.
This is the target I want youto aim for, if you think about
it, that means that for every10 consultations that you
do, you're gonna book seven.
And if your average bookingrate is $3,000, that means that
you're booking $21,000 a month.

(05:46):
10 consultations.
Seven bookings.
$21,000 a month.
It adds up so fast.
CEO.
This isn't theory.
This is a proven system.
and if you implement it,you are gonna be on the
fast track to six figures.
the last step that I would doif I was building my business
from zero to six figures here in2025 is once I have cash coming
in, because I've mastered thatsales process, I'm going to

(06:08):
start investing in my systemsBecause in the beginning
you are doing everything byhand, everything manually.
But as you start to have cash,I want you to think about how
you can remove yourself sothat you can focus on growth
and marketing and sales, howyou can remove yourself from
some of these processes andput a system in place instead.
This looks like having a greatCRM that keeps your leads

(06:29):
and your clients organized.
It also looks like time blockingyour calendar so that you have
time to work on your businessevery single week, and you don't
just get wrapped up in all theclient work treading water.
You also wanna startputting automations in place
for emails and payments.
Things that you do on aconsistent basis all the time.
You wanna go ahead andautomate those things.
Systems create freedom, and yes, so often I hear

(06:51):
wedding pros that are buildingthat first six figures and
they're like, I don't havetime to implement a system.
And I'm like, if you don't,you will hit burnout.
I promise you.
You've got to start gettingthese systems in place as
you're scaling, so thatas you continue to scale,
they're working for youinstead of you just running
on the hamster wheel.
Listen, making six figuresis simple, but most
wedding pros won't do it.

(07:12):
Not because they're nottalented, but because
they refuse to put in theeffort that their business
needs to get there.
So if you wanna build aprofitable wedding business
that hits your first sixfigures here in 2025.
Stop guessing, start leading, and follow this strategy.
If this episode gaveyou the clarity that you
needed, let's go deeper.
