Pat Mullins, a 52-year-old librarian from Bradenton, Florida, was discovered dead on February 5, 2013 nine days after he took it out for a ride. His body was found floating face down, he was dressed in a shirt, jeans, belt, and one shoe. Pat's empty boat was located about 7 miles off Egmont Key in the Gulf of Mexico, a large distance away from his usual boating routes and far from where his body was found. There were no signs of foul play on the boat, Pat's background checks and phone records revealed no financial troubles or indications of depression.
