In 2014 opende hij zijn eerste restaurant, Ekmekci, in Rotterdam. Inmiddels is zijn onderneming uitgegroeid tot een volwaardige franchiseketen met negen locaties, bijna 200 medewerkers en grootse plannen voor de toekomst. In 2022 won hij samen met zijn compagnon zelfs de Franchise Starter Award, een prijs voor de meest veelbelovende nieuwe formule in Nederland.
