In 2016 brak hij door met zijn video’s over het straatleven in de Zaanse wijk Poelenburg. Daarmee kwam hij toentertijd behoorlijk in opspraak door de overlast die ten gevolge van zijn vlogs ontstond. Hij werd immens populair en tekende al snel bij een groot productiebedrijf.
Vele mooie projecten en documentaires volgden in de jaren daarop. Eigenlijk kan niemand in Nederland meer om onze gast van vandaag heen. We hebben het natuurlijk over niemand minder dan Ismail Ilgun!
