Spring break is a popular time for teens thinking about college to go and visit some of the higher education institutions they may be interested in attending. We thought it would be the perfect time to discuss the college prep journey. Maya currently has two children in college and Penny is just starting the planning process with her son, Sam, who's a junior in high school.
Maya shares her experience with college planning and provides some insight into what you and your children can be working on each year of your child's high school years. Her youngest is a freshman in college and plays soccer, so she speaks to what that recruiting process was like for her daughter.
Penny explains what the experience has been like so far for her family and what she's learned along the way, including the value that college open houses offer.
