One, two...gonna podcast for you!
This week we are again joined by filmmaker Andrew Shearer of Gonzorrific Films because there is no way we could talk about anything related to "A Nightmare on Elm Street" without him. This is a very special episode of our Halloween edition shows, as the three of us were practically raised on Elm Street and are definitely kids who can talk a whole, whole lot about Freddy Krueger and the whole series! Of course, our focus is at least mostly on "Dream Warriors", but Freddy is such a part of the eighties, so much a part of American culture when the music that we talk about the most was going on. We talk about how special the music video for the song is, also enjoying "Into the Fire" as it appeared in the opening sequence of the film. Then we make our way through the rock of the film franchise that followed! We share Vinnie Vincent Invasion's "Love Kills" from the fourth film in the franchise, Bruce Dickinson's "Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter" from the fifth, and we slam Sepultura's "The Waste" featuring Mike Patton from the "Freddy vs. Jason" soundtrack...and much, much, MUCH more!
