(00:00):
Welcome to the podcast. My name is Toby Zapia and I'm your host.

(00:13):
And I'm your host Susan Zapia. And this is what God has done.
Where miracles unleash faith.
Welcome to our podcast. This is podcast number numero who know.

(00:35):
Yes, it's our first one. Yes, it is. How are you feeling?
I'm pumped man, I'm pumped. I'm finally feeling like there's been a lot of background
stuff happening, you know, painting this room, getting the gear ready.
You know, and I'm just, I'm just ready to let loose for the whole.

(00:55):
You know, I'm ready to go for it. You're ready to talk.
Yeah, yeah, I am. Yeah, so this is bedroom.
So everyone who's listening, well, this room needs to be our bedroom.
Yeah. And the Lord taught us to turn it into a podcast studio.
That's right.
So we moved our bedroom into the spare room.
And behind the scenes, we've been painting the walls black.

(01:17):
I've been drawing on the walls of chalk.
And you can probably save it some pieces behind me, but you'll save more as we reveal more and more.
Yeah.
But how we got this house was just super crazy.
I want to dive into that.
But before I do that, I feel like we need to tell the listeners and the viewers who we are.
Yeah.
So I want to pass that over to you.

(01:40):
Okay. So who are we?
We're a married couple from the North West of Melbourne.
That love Jesus that are sold out for God.
And we're trying to bring glory to his name.
We're trying to get people saved.
And where life coaches of renewed life coach.

(02:05):
And we are owners of a company called The Christian General Code.
Which is pretty much why this podcast is birthed.
So it's birthed out of that.
Yeah.
Pretty much.
So for the listeners or what's the Christian General Code?
Why do he say it's brought to you by the Christian General Code?

(02:26):
The Christian General Code is exactly that.
It's journals for Christians to help them to feel faith, ignited.
And so people can lead in life with purpose.
That's, that's, I think that sounds it up.
Yeah.
Our intention is to glorify God.

(02:48):
Absolutely.
And that's what this podcast is about.
What God has done.
And that's what our journals are about.
Journaling what God has done.
What he is doing and what he will do, right?
Amen.
Like we want to capture that.
So many scriptures in the Bible that tell us to remember.
Jesus even says himself remember.
Yeah.
At the last supper.
Yeah.

(03:09):
So it's very biblical.
We are crazy Christians.
We're a bit out there.
We might touch on topics that are a bit taboo.
But that's just who we are.
We like to push the envelope a little bit.
But we welcome everyone and anyone to jump on.
Have a listen.
Interact in the comment section.

(03:32):
You know, this is, this is not a podcast just for Christians.
This is a podcast for everybody.
That's right.
Even if you're curious and you don't have a specific religion or belief.
This is a podcast for you.
Jump on, start asking questions and let God reveal himself to you.
Amen.
Amen.
Absolutely.

(03:53):
And for the Christian who's listening and wondering what
what are these journals about.
So we're starting off with three journals.
The whole podcast started in birth out of in 2021.
The Lord said to me, I was actually.
We were in a pre-meeting and we're driving home in one of my mates.
Who was newly, newly walking with the Lord.

(04:17):
Said, you know, I just get thought sometimes.
And I think is this, is this thing all real and, you know,
and I just said, you gotta remember the encounters you've had with God.
And then I felt the Holy Spirit speak to me.
And I felt the Holy Spirit say, you're making book called What God has done.
And when people are in despair, they can go back to this book.

(04:42):
And what that is, it's a journal to write down God's signs,
one doesn't miracles.
But it's not just for the believer.
It's also for the nonbeliever.
It's the document what God's done in your life.
Yes.
And so through this book, you can show people, hey, people say,
I don't believe God's real.
Well, how do you explain this?

(05:03):
There's not a coincidence.
There's no explanation behind it.
This person had cancer.
We all prayed.
There was 20 of us.
They were going in for an operation.
They did a scan before the operation.
Now it's gone.
Completely gone.
Yeah.
Yeah, come on.
Disolve.
Come on.
And that's, that's things that people have to remember.
And like when I first went, when I first got told by the Lord to do this,

(05:28):
I just thought, why can't someone just go get a $5 journal from came up?
You know?
And just, just what, why do they need this journal?
You know?
And the more I thought about it, the more the Lord kept revealing to me that,
even through the Old Testament, you know,
God is always saying, remember me, remember me,
and celebrate me, you know?

(05:49):
There's a lot of, like, that these relates celebrated things to remember God,
to remember his goodness, you know?
I mean, as people, we just forget that's the truth.
I mean, think about it.
There is relites where in, they came out of slaves, right?
Yes.
Moses got up on a mountain and they've gone to Joshua and they said,

(06:12):
here, we're going to give you this gold to Aaron, sorry, not Joshua.
They said to Aaron, we're going to give you all this gold,
make us a, a God.
May you would live through the red sea,
parted on sides by a pillar of his knee, God.
You know what I mean?
Yes.
And you're forgetting already, just because Moses got up for a while.

(06:34):
Like, where does his God return? He's not returning? He's gone.
You know?
And just like, they forgot, you know?
And they would winch, you know?
And this is, this is why remembering so important, you know?
The Lord says to, says to Joshua, he says,
you've passed the Jordan.
Put up 12 stones as a memorial as a tribute, you know?

(06:58):
And this is why what God has done.
And we want to back that book with this podcast, saying,
what God has done.
But we've got some other journals as well, if you want to.
Yeah, yeah.
So we have a Sunday sermon journal.
So if you're like me, I like to doodle and draw in my five dollar
came up journal and it'll be everything.
And it's really messy.

(07:19):
It's hard to, if I want to look back and see the notes I wrote from a Sunday
three weeks ago, I'll have to go through all of my notes in my own journal
to try and find those notes.
This is a Sunday sermon journal where it's specifically four sermons.
So it's guided in a way of the verses,
there's a section to write your verses, there's a section for reflections,

(07:42):
and you are able to document, draw, do whatever you like,
and really capture what God is speaking to you on a Sunday,
and have a book where it's all in one place.
So that's a Sunday sermon journal.
We also have the five, five.
I love it.
And I think this is our favorite journal out of the three.
It's just a really practical way of guiding you into the secret place.

(08:07):
So we believe that God calls us into the secret place to be alone with Jesus,
so that way we can have an intimate relationship with Him.
That's right.
And that's how our faith grows, that's how our relationship with Jesus grows.
And this five, five, I'll let you explain it in more detail,
but I believe it just really helps the Christian who is struggling
to really step into that secret place easily.

(08:29):
Yeah.
Yeah.
So it's literally five, five days with God, five minutes with God.
If you're a Christian who's walked away from the faith and come back to the faith,
and you're thinking, I don't even know how to spend time with God anymore.
Or you just, life has just taken over and you haven't been in the secret place for a long time,

(08:51):
and you want to go back to it.
Or even if you're a brand new Christian, you're like,
how do I get in the secret place?
Yeah.
It really helps you kind of enter in.
So it's just pretty much your ask,
so you start off with thankfulness to God that I ask you to name something,
so you're thankful to God for something that you want to ask God for.
You have a section for prayer to write a prayer to God or even a lament.

(09:14):
We saw that with King David.
He often lamented to God and he praised God and he loved God and was his heart behind us.
So there's a section to really unload.
What's on your heart?
You know?
And then it's looking for the win.
It's looking for what God has done today.
You know, you could fill that out at night or you can fill it in the next morning
when you visit the secret place.

(09:35):
But when I was in the secret place with God,
he was revealing this to me and I was doing this.
And it was just such a beautiful way to get into the secret place.
And I believe it's going to bless so many people.
Yes, yes.
So that's what the Christian journal co is all about.

(09:56):
Yeah, and we'll have these journals available soon online so you can get them in your hands
and you can use them.
Yeah.
We'll also have available a package we can get all three and it will come with also affirmation cards,
which are biblical affirmation cards with Bible scriptures that you can speak over yourself.
Come on.
God spoke this world into existence.

(10:18):
That's right.
So we believe that the Holy Spirit lives inside of us and we can speak life into existence, amen.
So it's very exciting. There's a lot happening.
And as to we have so many, we have incredible signs, wonders, ourselves and testimonies that we can't wait to share with you.

(10:39):
That's right.
In time, we're not going to do it on this episode.
This is more just an introduction.
Yeah.
But yeah, we just want to tell you how we got here.
Because there's always a backstory to a story, right?
And if you know me, I wouldn't say I'm really a storyteller.
I am, but my husband is the storyteller.

(11:00):
Toby, you're known for storytelling.
Yeah.
I always say, you know, long story short, but it's always short story long.
Sorry, long story long.
Let me tell you a story long.
The way we got this house was just a miracle.
We had to move houses. We lived a couple of suburbs away from here.

(11:24):
We're in airport where it's about to move houses.
And the Lord, the way he brought us to this home was a divine appointment.
Amen.
I'm going to pass it over to you because I know if I start to tell the story.
I'm going to leave out some details.
And you're going to jump in.
So go ahead. Tell the listeners the story of how we actually got this home.

(11:45):
But we had just under two weeks to move because you got the dates wrong.
Yeah, I did.
I'm just wrong. I'm under the bus in front of everyone.
That's fine.
I do the same.
Yeah, you were.
Yeah, she got the dates wrong, guys.
And we came to know that, hey, we need to move out of this house.

(12:08):
And we're living in Nidri.
The suburb up from Epoist.
So we were looking for a place.
And we went to an open and we thought, oh, this looks okay.
We actually rocked up early.
Am I telling them?
Yeah, tell us what's wrong.
We didn't break it.
We didn't break it.

(12:29):
We kind of broke it.
While we sneaked in the back.
It was open.
It was open.
And we checked out the backyard and we thought this is great for fellowship.
So we were running in life through but our house in Nidri.
And we had about 20 people in our life group.
Which is also a Bible study.
Just so if you don't know what a life group.
So a group.
Yeah.
Bible study.
Yeah.
And so we thought we need.

(12:50):
Because it was during summer when we started.
And we just we headed outside and we had a barbecue.
And it was really.
It was chill and it was awesome.
It was powerful.
And as a kind of got cold, we had to move inside and we're just cranked.
Now, lounge room.
And we thought the next house.
We're going to need space because the Lord's doing something here.

(13:11):
So we rock up to this to this open.
And as I said, we got there early and we kind of looked around back.
And thought this is great but we couldn't see inside the house.
So we waited that the agent came the open up.
Other people rocked up.
We walked around with thought and that.
It was turning.
It was so small.
Great backyard.
Small inside.

(13:33):
And the agent's like, oh, I'm the business manager.
So if it's not your style, just let me know what you're after.
And we said, look, where leaders at a church.
We run a Bible study for about 20 people but we believe it's going to grow.
So we kind of need a big lounge room.
And he said, okay, cool.
And then we kind of had a gig all about some of the stuff in this house was questionable.

(13:57):
And then he just says, he says, guys, can you give me a second?
I've actually got two houses.
I'm just going to see if I can get my appointments for someone else to cover them.
And we'll offer.
Okay.
So he's got this thought, right?
And so he calls back on a Saturday, which is very busy for real estate agents.

(14:19):
It's when people don't work when they can't go and see.
And so he gets it covered, praise God.
And he says, jump in the car and follow me.
And we'll offer.
Okay.
We only follow Jesus.
No.
But we end the car.
We follow him to a house.
We look at this house.
We're like, no.
So I've got another one up.
My sleeve comes around to this place.

(14:40):
We get out of the car.
We have a look at it.
And the house is.
It's not.
It's not.
It's nothing to be desired.
No, are we talking about this house?
This house is how to say a look.
It's no.
It's not.
It's old.
It's old.
My favorite is like our normal Andrew.
He's got like a hill.

(15:01):
It's got like an incline.
It's got a little hill.
It does.
Hey, if you guys building houses and you house, you got to get a hill in your
land.
You just got to get that kind of hill going on.
So, you know, when your kids play with cars and stuff, they can just roll down.
Yeah, it's just actually.
It's got to go up the hill down the hill.
But look, we walk into the kitchen and then after the kitchen, there was an extension

(15:24):
on the house, which is a massive, lounge room.
And it's just a massive space.
And back onto this space is room.
And so, after that, there's the backyard of a random huge space, and we thought this is great.
It's a big home.
Big home serves the purpose for ministry.

(15:45):
Yeah.
For serving the Lord.
Yeah.
Would it be our first choice?
No.
Absolutely.
We would choose a nice modern home that, you know, was appealing.
And I mean, this is livable, right?
Yeah.
But nicer.
Yeah.
So, we say, all right, look, we're saying this is from the Lord, okay?

(16:06):
So, we pray, okay?
And we say, we want this house.
And then the Lord starts to give me visions about what we're going to do in this home.
And I'm just, I'm just kind of side-note this, right?
Because this whole podcast is about giving glory to God on what he's done.

(16:28):
He's going to give us the signs, wonders, miracles, how he does things.
And I'm going to tell you what God has done.
Just with this house and this podcast leading clean choices.
I'm going to tell you what, what God has done here.
So, God's giving me visions.
He says, paint all the walls black.

(16:49):
And there's going to be what, scriptures all over the walls.
I said, okay.
And he says, build an altar.
I build an altar.
And I remember telling someone from our church saying, hey, I'll submit a building an altar.
It's like, don't be silly, don't do that.
Don't do that.
So, I had a normal moment.

(17:10):
Yeah, you had a normal moment.
When you told me, I thought, well, we have an altar at church.
Why do we need an altar at our home?
Yeah.
Anyway, it can be an altar, right?
So, I thought, hmm, I don't know.
I don't know about this, Toby, but he was sure it was from the Lord.
And, yeah, I just said, if it's from the Lord, you need to do it.
So, 100% backed him up, but it was crazy.

(17:32):
Painting the walls black.
Yeah.
White writing on the walls.
Yeah.
And an altar.
It's wild.
It is a bit of a no-as moment.
Build a nock, but I don't think they'd seen any rain.
Yeah.
So, why are you building this big boat for, right?
That's right.
Yeah.
And so, I get all this material for free.

(17:53):
And I start building this altar, but I build it outside.
I'm thinking I'm going to put like wheels on it.
And I'm going to bump it in and out.
And it's just, it ends up being way too heavy.
So, I'm thinking, what, what can I do?
How can I build an altar?
I get an idea.
So, now that is our outdoor altar.
That's right.
Because it just has stayed in our backyard.

(18:14):
Yeah.
And so, I just, I think, milk crates.
If I get a bunch of milk crates, they're strong, they're steady.
I can make it.
I can build an altar.
So, I hit the streets.
I know the streets.
It's on this lookout.
That's ill-created.
I'm picking up a milk crate here.
There.
I'm putting them in my car.

(18:36):
I'm stopping off that like, I just said, hey, can I get a milk crate or two?
Yeah, cool.
Can I, you know, and then I go to this cafe like a bakery.
And I said, hey, have you got any milk crates?
You don't really want or you can give me.
They like, no.
I said, okay, how can I?
They like, cause they're not ours.
They're the milk companies.
I said, sorry.

(18:57):
They're like, they're the milk companies.
I said, but like, I, I just gave me like two.
They like, yeah, well, they shouldn't cause it's not theirs to give.
And I was like, oh, oh, an automatically.
I just get convicted from a Holy Spirit.
Hmm.
You're so lucky.
You're still in milk crates and you're going to make an altar.
I'm telling the word on the stove and goes.

(19:20):
So like, where do you get milk crates from?
Can you even buy milk crates?
I'm not a milk company.
Where would I buy milk crates from?
Like, seriously, what?
Help.
And I felt on say to me,
I'll hold up the milk company and ask them.
So start bringing milk, milk companies.
One, leaving a message here out there.
And I get to this one milk company.

(19:43):
That, they'll leave a milk company.
See, they don't make milk.
Or maybe they do.
I'm not sure.
But I don't remember the name.
I think it's Heinbro.
I don't even know if I'm saying it properly.
But shout out to Heinbro if I'm saying it right.
I call up this company, hate.
I said, because I'm getting like kind of like an author.

(20:05):
You don't give me a call back.
So I think, okay, look, I'm getting persecuted.
Because I'm telling, I'm going to build a life and an altar.
So why did you tell them you wouldn't build a stage?
Yeah, I said, I said, hey, look, I want to build a stage.
And I want to build it out of milk rates.
I want it to look like funky and cool.
So I'm just cornering around and see if you guys got any like
discolored or a little bit broken ones that you don't want or you don't use.

(20:30):
And if I could have them, please.
I said, I'm happy to pay something, maybe.
And so the lady's like, just hold the line, put some out on hold.
Comes back after a minute or two and says, hey, I'm just transferring you to the owner now.
I said, I thank you.
So I'm ready.
I'm ready to give it a big spill again.

(20:51):
I'm ready to go for it.
I'm ready to pitch her.
So close her down to try and get this deal done.
So I can get milk rates that build an altar onto the Lord.
And she answers the French guys, hello.
I said, I hate.
She's like, yep, I'm happy to donate.
I just thought, well, who talked about donating anything?
You know, and I just, at that moment, I just knew God was in this.

(21:15):
I knew God's provision was there.
And she says, how many do you need?
And with the stolen ones, I kind of mapped out.
I needed 52.
I didn't have 52, but I put one and then another one and another one.
I kind of worked out.
Yep, the most like, yes, I've pulled four and four.
I think I had six or not nine, maybe nine, max.

(21:37):
And I said, I need 52.
And she's like, okay, I'll have a palette ready for you.
Mm.
I haven't ready for you this afternoon.
When do you need them?
I said, I'll stop to go.
I'll rock up, I'll get a van.
I'll rock up.
They're there sitting on a palette for me.
And done.
Yep.
The deal was done.
God did it.

(21:58):
You know?
And that's what God did.
And they were brand new milk rates.
They weren't even like the ones he had.
The ones he had gotten off the streets while I cast broken.
These were like, you know, your crates at the Lord had for you.
Yeah. And so I come, I get some marine pline.
And then I saw a set up and I'll start.
How did you even think of making a stage out of milk crate?
I don't know.
Like I mean, that's remember you saying to me,

(22:20):
Hey, do you think I could do this?
You just had the thought?
I just think milk crates were the perfect type to stand on.
And if you put like a plywood on top, marine pline,
you're kind of boxed up at work.
And it's light.
If I need to move it out.
Have you ever seen it done before?
No.
No, I don't know.
No.
Anyone who's made a stage on rock tower milk crates.

(22:43):
I'm sure there'll be one church somewhere.
Yeah.
And if that's you, leave a comment and let us know.
That's it.
We'd love to see your milk, your altar.
Made out of milk crates with love.
We're keeping the alarm.
But that's, that's glory to God man.
That's, that's what he did.
So we're running night's here and life groups.
And the funny thing about it is this place, this house,

(23:08):
is on a road called Victory.
And everyone just started to claim it and say,
Are you serious?
Do you understand where you're living?
I was like, what do you mean?
People are coming to our homes for a Bible study.
Yeah.
And they need to know.
So we give them the address.
We'll turn to Victory Road.
And they'll like, come on, this is the house of Victory.

(23:31):
God's given you a house of Victory.
So we did a couple of nights called Vitorias.
The name, the name stuck.
The name stuck, yeah, absolutely.
And we just feel God's given us this house.
This Victory house.
And, you know, we're going to see a lot of Victory's one through it.
Yeah.
Because it's all for him.
Yeah.

(23:52):
But yeah, we're, we're used past this now.
And we use it as when we do youth church every Wednesday.
That's right.
And yeah, we love it.
We love it.
And the place serves a purpose.
And now we've extended that into what used to be our bedroom, our podcast room,
to bring you guys episodes, you know.

(24:13):
So.
Yeah.
It's like we've really invited the Lord into our personal lives.
And our ministries now.
Daily ministry.
It's part of our home literally.
Yeah.
But that's what we wanted.
We wanted to incorporate serving the Lord in our home.
And that's literally what we are doing.
Because we're serving the Lord in our home.
Yeah.

(24:34):
It's like, yeah, I don't know.
Don't build an altar.
Don't ever do ministry like this in your home.
The devil's going to go you.
Be careful, you know.
The battle's one friend.
That's right.
You know.
It is finished.
Come on.
We're coming.
You know, with the victory forward against the enemy.

(24:58):
Not scared to feed it.
Yeah.
We're coming on the offense.
Not the defense.
Yeah.
That's good.
You know, we're coming on the offense.
Not the defense.
So.
What are we going to see?
What are you guys going to see?
What are you guys going to hear?
What's this going to be like in terms of?
What are the episodes going to look like going forward?
Do you want to tell our.

(25:19):
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm definitely.
So it's it's.
We are going to hear testimonies.
We're definitely going to hear people's testimonies.
But it's not just a podcast about testimonies.
We're going to want to know about the signs.
The wonders, the miracles.
Everything that happens after baptism as well.
Yeah.
Because baptism is just the beginning of your journey of Jesus.

(25:42):
That's right.
So we want to hear about.
Yes.
What led up to that?
Because that's always an amazing story.
We're going to be able to hear about the things that happen after that.
We're going to have guest speakers that are apostles of churches, youth pastors, all
different types of areas of ministry and perhaps even serving in different areas.

(26:05):
Workplaces as well in the world.
We believe that God's going to open the doors and we're going to have some amazing
guest speakers that really come and are going to just drop all these gold bars.
That's what we're creating a space for the Holy Spirit to move and to really glorify
God, just like Toby said.
We're also going to do topics about different topics about what's going on in the world.

(26:30):
Perhaps things related to healings in your body healings of the mind.
Is there any topics that you've thought of, Toby?
Are you going to discuss?
I mean, as the Holy Spirit reveals things to us, I guess.
I know that we are very evangelistic.
I must say.
We believe that we are called to go and preach the gospel.

(26:52):
So we'll definitely be touching on evangelism.
We'll be talking about the importance of sharing the good news and how to do that and why to do that.
So we'll be touching on all these little topics as well.
But the main focus is to be interviewing people and letting them share about what God has done in their lives.
I mean, if there's people that are sitting on the fence, when I say sitting on the fence, that I know,

(27:14):
Is God real? Is He not real? Does He exist? Does He not exist?
We want to bring you people with their testimony to help you realise that God is real.
And He's alive.
And He's living.
He is alive.
And if you're someone who stepped away from faith, this could encourage you, could ignite faith in you.

(27:40):
Or if you're a non-believer, or you don't believe that there's a God at all, we want to prove to you that there is.
Yeah, we want to prove to you that our God is alive.
And He loves you. He's real.
And He wants to relationship with you.
And God wants to speak to you. He wants to have this intimate relationship with you.
That's what we want you to gain out of this podcast if you're listening and you don't have a relationship with God.

(28:06):
Or you are seeking to find God in your personal life.
This is our goal from you listening to this podcast.
Yeah.
And if you're a Christian, the goal is, you know, I and Shappin's iron, we want to sharpen your faith.
Yeah, come on.
We want you to stir, we want to stir your faiths to the point where you are so passionate to share what God is doing in your life with your friends.

(28:29):
Your family.
Yeah.
You know, this doesn't just stop here.
Asked talking about what God has done.
We want you to listen to us talking about what God has done.
And then tell other people what God is doing in your life.
That is my heart desire.
Yeah.
And we want you to come in.
You know, we want you to come in in our comment section.
We want you to tell us what God's doing.
Yes.

(28:50):
What He's done.
And things that you're believing for as well.
You know, we're going to take some of these comments and we're going to talk about him.
And if God's done something crazy in your life, like raised you from the dead or I don't know, some miraculous healing and you just feel led to be on this podcast.
Reach out to us.
Absolutely.

(29:11):
We want to hear from you.
Yeah.
Doesn't matter where you are in the world.
We want to hear from you.
We want to see if we can connect at the end of the day.
Doesn't matter where you are.
We believe we're all brothers and sisters in Christ.
And it's all for the purpose to glorify the Lord, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
