On Valentine's Day in 1945, Charles Walton was found dead by a hedgerow on the Firs Farm in Warwickshire, England. He had been beaten over the head, his throat cut with his own slash hook and pinned to the ground by the neck with a pitchfork. Was the murderer one of the locals, possibly even a friend, or was the murder a ritualistic form of witchcraft, reflecting a witches murder in 1875?
