What if there was a better way than war? The OG GOAT delivers a passionate critique of American foreign policy that will make you question everything you thought you knew about our international involvement.

The United States stands at a crossroads, pouring billions into foreign conflicts while our domestic needs go unaddressed. Drawing particular attention to the war in Ukraine, where American financial support has potentially approached $200 billion, this episode examines whether our resources could be better allocated. The host proposes a thought-provoking alternative: could diplomatic solutions, including potential protection agreements, have prevented the senseless loss of innocent lives?

At the heart of this discussion lies a fundamental question about American values and consistency. We negotiate fairly in business transactions at home, yet resort to military intervention abroad. With each administration seeking to outdo its predecessor, our foreign policy lacks the coherence needed for effective global relations. This constant political turnover creates a nation "lost in its own governmental structure," unable to develop sustainable approaches to international challenges.

This isn't just about politics—it's about human lives. Behind every conflict statistic are real people, including children and civilians, caught in the crossfire of geopolitical power struggles. The OG GOAT challenges listeners to consider whether America's brightest minds could develop more compassionate, effective solutions to secure resources and maintain international relationships without the devastating human cost of war. Share your thoughts on this critical discussion and join the conversation about America's role on the world stage.

OG GOAT (00:02):
Good afternoon guys.
Yes, it's the OG GOAT onceagain, and this topic is a short
topic.
I am looking for your responseson the amount of money the
United States invests in foreignwars and arms battles.

(00:28):
I want to talk about this newepisode.
I'm titling it A Country Lostin Its Own Governmental
Structure.
The reason why I've selectedthat title is because, you know,
every time we turn aroundthere's a new person in charge

(00:49):
of the government and each onesupposedly wants to outdo what
the last one did.
You know, if we keep fightingourselves, we're never going to
get anywhere ourselves.
We're never going to getanywhere.

(01:10):
It's just not going to work.
We need to have a solid.
This is my opinion.
But we need to have a solidstructure, a solid game plan for
controlling our country anddealing with foreign countries
in whatever resources ormilitary aid or assistance and

(01:32):
help in terms of disasters, disaster recoveries and so forth
and so on.
And you know, I just think wejust spend too much money and
there should be another way, adiplomatic way of resolving or

(01:53):
getting the resources we mightneed from other countries,
rather than participating insome war, whether physically, by
putting our men on the ground,or by offering some sort of
military support.
So this is what this episode isabout, and I will link it to my
college that I was attendingand let's see.

(02:17):
You know how the students replyto it, and you as well.
So this episode is a countrylost in its own governmental
structure, racing for control, desperate for resources and
drowning in debt, whileattempting to hold its own

(02:40):
reputation and respectthroughout the world.
The United States is playing adangerous game.
This is my opinion, guys.
The United States has spent anunprecedented amount of money on
the war in Ukraine, goingagainst the rules of NATO and
its members, because, if I'm notmistaken, I don't even think

(03:02):
Ukraine is a part of NATO.
Ok, we are just about at thepoint where it may have made
more sense to purchase Ukraine, with protection as part of an
agreement.
I don't know if that's evenpossible, but you know, with the

(03:22):
amount of money that we'vespent and I'm thinking based on
some websites that I've visitedand some research that I've done
it looks like we might beapproaching close to the $200
billion mark.
I mean, I'm sure that'sprobably not enough to purchase
a country, but at least you knowit could get our foot in the

(03:47):
door in a peaceful, diplomaticway.
This is what I'm hoping, without all of this senseless
killing of babies, kids, children and people, so forth
and so on.
We are just about at the pointwhere, just about at the point

(04:10):
where, yes, this would haveprobably made more sense, you
know, to offer this protectionin which many lives, you know,
could have been saved.
I'm just against killing, youknow, I'm just against killing
innocent people and so forth andso on.
You know it may be possible atthe first sit down, you know,

(04:38):
being the first possibly to sitdown with Ukraine might give us
some sort of leverage.
Do note, I had no idea thatthis next article I'm about to
share with you on the site lookin the description even existed.
This was just a thought on mymind, so it appears that I'm not

(05:00):
too far off from my way ofthinking, and I really like to
hear, you know, how you guysfeel about it, because there are
a lot of wars, you know, goingon around the world and I don't
believe that's the only solution.

(05:22):
I believe there's a lot betterway to resolve these issues than
resources.
You know, we have to respectother people, we have to respect
their country, we have torespect their resources and if
they want what we have, wenegotiate.
And if they want what we have,we negotiate.
And if we want what they have, they negotiate.
If they set a price, you knowyou either pay it or you keep it

(05:46):
moving.
That's the way it's done inAmerica and that's the way it
should be done worldwide.
We can't live by that rule.
But, you know, choose anotherrule to try to take over a
country and, you know, dominatetheir resources based on war and
fighting and killing.
That can't be the solution,guys.

(06:06):
It just can't.
You know, and it makes me feelsad to know that my country, you
know, with all the intelligentpeople and Ivy League schools we
have here and all theintelligent people that we have
in this country, that wecouldn't come up with a better

(06:28):
solution and a better way ofnegotiating and getting
resources for other countries.
So I just want to throw that outthere.
It's just a little small thingI want to throw out there.
It's, you know, personally myopinion.
There may be other reasons whyI'm not that deeply into
politics to say, but I do knowthat you know, killing of

(06:53):
innocent people and lives to mejust not the answer and maybe
there could have been a betterway, and I think that our
country should look for thatbetter way, being the United
States of America.
Okay, that's it for today.
