This segment will unravel the complex timelines and conditions that could still see him in the 2024 election race, providing a thorough breakdown of what's at stake.

Ever wondered if congestion pricing is really fair? We tackle this hot-button issue by scrutinizing the additional fees imposed on New Yorkers for using roads and infrastructure they've already financed through their taxes. Hear us spotlight the taxpayer frustration and financial strain this policy can cause. Then, we make a bold comparison between Long Island and Manhattan, highlighting the perks of Long Island—from free parking and pristine venues like UBS Arena and Nassau Coliseum to more convenient shopping and dining options. By the end of this episode, you'll understand why we advocate for Long Island as the ultimate destination for leisure and entertainment, beyond the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.

Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey guys, we're back.
We took a little 90-day leavehere.
We had to finish up the studioand I'm happy to say the studio
is complete.
Everything is looking good.
It's ready for recordings.
For all those that may beinterested in starting their own

(00:26):
podcast right here in New Yorkor the tri-state area, listen,
the studio is ready.
Give us a call.
You know the number212-718-0330.
Send us a text and let us know.
Today we are outside recordingthis podcast, so you may hear a

(00:50):
few dogs and birds in thebackground.
That's what's so sweet aboutthe setup here.
At what part of the game isthat we can do the podcast
anywhere and it's pretty good.
You judge for yourself thequality as a sound and see what

(01:13):
you think.
Right now we're going to jumpright into it.
First on the agenda, let's goover the Donald Trump issue
right quick and what couldpossibly happen.
I was doing a little bit ofresearch and it seems as though

(01:38):
if and when put it that way, orlet's say, when Donald Trump is
sentenced, which is in a coupleof weeks in order for him, if I
have this correctly, in orderfor him to be unable to run for
president or be electedpresident and have a criminal

(02:05):
background, he would have tohave completed the time that he
was sentenced for.
So what does that mean?
That means that, according tothe state of Florida, if he uses
this as his address once he hascompleted his sentence, then

(02:38):
he's open to run for whateveroffice or run for president.
Now what does that mean?
That for whatever charges he'sbeen found guilty of,
all-inclusive, he would have tocomplete that time within the
next year before the election.
Now if, let's say, a first-timeoffense, they give him

(03:03):
probation, this would mean thathis probation would have to be a
year or less.
I'm not sure if a year is goingto quite do it, but let's say,
for argument's sake, a year orless.
And if he gets the year for allthe charges with good time,

(03:26):
maybe he can be out in sixmonths, which would have him as
a free man and ready for hisready for the election.
If Donald Trump gets sentencedto more than that year, it's a

(03:49):
done deal, at least for thistime.
Ok, so now that we covered that, we have an idea of what we're
possibly looking at in terms ofDonald Trump.
Let's move on to our next topic, and my next topic is going to
be based on the congestivepricing, I'm trying to figure

(04:32):
out.
How is it possible that you'regoing to turn around and charge
us for congestive pricing?
And we pay taxes.
We've been paying taxes for whoknows how many decades in the
five boroughs of New York Cityand, with this paying of taxes,
our taxes go towards policedepartment, fire department.

(04:53):
What is it?
Police department, firedepartment, police department,
fire department A lot of thingsthat we utilize within the five
boroughs that do not generate, per se, an income.
Our taxes pay for theseservices.
How is it that we can pay tofix the streets, bridges and

(05:21):
tunnels and now we can't driveon them?
We have to pay a second time todrive on these same streets.
You know what they're doing.
You're basically taxing usagain.
Only thing is this taxation isnot based on a percentage of

(05:47):
your salary.
This is just thrown out there, which makes it a lot higher than
if it was based on the amountof money you make.
This is one situation, guys, you should not let them pull a
willy over your ears about, because they are really, really

(06:15):
trying to shift the shaft.
That's on this one Congestivepricing.
I'll tell you how I feel aboutit personally.
You can keep Manhattan.
Manhattan is not all that noplace to park.
As a matter of fact, I couldpark on Long Island a lot better

(06:43):
than I could in Manhattan andit's free.
A lot of places.
Long Island, big parking lot, huge parking lot.
The places are much bigger andnicer, cleaner.
You don't have to worry aboutif there's a rat or a roach

(07:08):
running around underneath thetable.
A lot of places arewell-maintained, depending on
where you go.
And there's entertainment.
We have now in Long Island theUBS Arena.
We have the old Nassau Coliseum, which has been I think it's
been modified as well.
You know Nassau.

(07:30):
We got restaurants.
I got to check and see whatkind of theaters if there are
any theaters I'm talking aboutyou know plays and that sort of
thing in Long Island If there is, they could keep Manhattan.

(07:51):
As far as I'm concerned, there'snot much more that I would go
to Manhattan for Restaurants, long Island Concerts, long
Island.
I could do a couple of games atthe Barclays basketball games

(08:12):
or what.
Have you concerts at Barclays?
Hey, listen, if you ask me,manhattan's going to put it on
hold until she gets reelectedand then come back and then push

(08:35):
it through.
Hey guys, look out for that.
I wouldn't be surprised ifthat's what she tries to do.
So, with that being said, ifthey don't take that congestive

(08:56):
pricing off the table, I'm out.
I'll do my live entertainmentor entertainment period on Long
Island and on top of that, thatcongestive pricing is just

(09:16):
really not worth it.
If you ask me, it's just notreally worth it.
Where are you going to go?
I could do shopping in LongIsland.
Some nice malls.
Is it worth it?

(09:36):
Go figure, my mind is made up.
Congestive pricing I'm out Outof Manhattan.
