Did the Democrats lose the presidential election by focusing too much on personality politics? We explore this critical question and dissect the fascinating dynamics of the recent election victory of Donald Trump. The episode uncovers the strategic missteps of the Democratic Party, who seemed more concerned with attacking Trump’s character than presenting a compelling vision for the country. By doing so, they missed an opportunity to connect with potential voters, including felons who might align with their values. Trump's simple yet powerful "Make America Great Again" message resonated with voters, providing a stark contrast to the Democrats' muddled strategy — a stark reminder of the importance of clear and consistent messaging in political campaigns.

Winning involves more than just participation, and our discussion today emphasizes entering political races with the earnestness and strategy needed for success. Both Republicans and Democrats can learn from recent setbacks, similar to losing a championship game, and use these experiences as fuel for future victories. We express disappointment in the Democrats' recent performance, urging political players to maintain focus and determination. Ending on a motivational note, we encourage our listeners to view setbacks as stepping stones to success, reminding everyone that resilience and persistence are key to overcoming challenges and excelling in any endeavor.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
You know who it is Chapad hostOG Goat and, of course, you know
what we're touching on today isthis presidential election and
the fact that Donald Trump haswon.
As I said prior in one of theprevious episodes, that the

(00:23):
Democratic Party is paying toomuch attention to Donald Trump's
rhetoric instead ofconcentrating on what they will
be doing and how they will beimproving the United States and
what they will do for the people.

(00:43):
With that being said, donaldTrump merely focused straight on
his goal, as what he's going todo as president, he's going to

(01:06):
do as president.
So you know, while you'rechasing the bread crumbs as I
said in a previous episode, while you're chasing the bread
crumbs, donald Trump is pushingforward.
So you lost Democrats.
You lost a lot of valuable timechasing the nonsense and the

(01:29):
rhetoric.
You lost it.
You cannot blame no one elsebut yourself.
You have who knows how manymillions of Americans that are
in jail white, black, hispanic, all nationalities that are
currently in jail.
You lost a vote or thepresidential election to clinch

(02:07):
the 270 necessary to win thepresidency.
As of 534 am Eastern StandardTime, wednesday, trump had 277
electrical bolts total.
So the point I'm getting athere is that it was a small

(02:33):
margin.
Yes, it was won by a smallmargin and we know.
If the shoe was on the otherfoot, there would have been
claims of some sort ofpresidential scam or something.

(02:58):
It would have been blamed onthe ballot boxes on the street
corners being turned and burnedand set on fire.
It would have been blamed onmany things.

(03:18):
But you as Democrats, you guyshad the power.
You had a president and vicepresident in office already.
You could have made changes tosome rules and regulations that
would have allowed you to win,but you didn't do it.

(03:41):
You didn't do it.
You didn't do it.
So, immediately once DonaldTrump was found guilty as a
felon of certain charges, allyou had to do was just, you know
, take a look at whether or notfelons are allowed to vote, and

(04:06):
people are saying a lot of mixedthings.
Some people are saying thatfelons are allowed to vote once
they have completed their time.
Other people are saying thatevery state is slightly
different.
Some people are saying thatfelons are not allowed to vote.

(04:26):
Well, you know, every personthat's in jail is not in jail
for some sort of heinous crimethat you might consider that
okay.
They should not ever appearallowed to vote If you have,
let's pick a number 50,000people or a hundred thousand

(04:51):
people in jail across country.
I don't know, I would.
I'm a guess here.
I'm a guess that the majorityof the felons would probably be
Democrat.
So Donald Trump, in an instance, oversaw that and, as a felon,

(05:18):
went to the polls and voted.
What did we do about it?
What did you do about it?
You didn't do nothing.
You had the power already.
You were already vice president, with the backing of the
president of the United States.

(05:39):
You could have clinched your winby making certain changes, but
instead you're trying to attackthe man's character.
You know, it's not aboutattacking his character.
It's not about that.
It's about winning thepresidential election.
That's what it's about.

(06:01):
And the best way to win thepresidential election is telling
the people what it is that youwill do with the country.
That will help the country inthe future.
That's what they're looking for.
That's what they're voting for.
If you're going to go afterlittle nonsense that's not

(06:24):
beneficial to your presidentialcampaign, then you can't expect
anything much.
Look at it.
He ran with the same line as heran before.
We're going to make Americagreat again.
Well, you know, did he do thatin the first four years?

(06:49):
You tell me he said he's goingto build a wall.
I don't know.
I've heard from some people inTexas that says the wall is not
built.
I don't know.
He was found guilty of certaincharges but yet he's still a

(07:15):
felon and he still was allowedto vote.
How many felons would havevoted if they knew that they can
vote?
But instead you left themthinking that felons are not

(07:36):
allowed to vote.
This is where the money was.
This is where the money was,but you failed to foresee that
because you was chasing rhetoric.
So at this point, you know youcan't be upset.

(07:57):
No one can be.
You know.
Start crying about the loss.
You know what I mean.
It is what it is and DonaldTrump did what he had to do to
win.
I believe that if the Democratswould have been more on their

(08:18):
game, I believe things wouldhave swung slightly different.
But it is what it is.
When you step into a ring tofight, you have to be prepared
to fight.
You don't step into a ringhalf-stepping.
You don't do that.

(08:39):
You don't do that.
When anybody stepped in thering with Mike Tyson, half-step
and he just knocked him out.
That's it.
He was not there to play games.
Mike Tyson's goal was a victoryand he fought with the

(09:06):
intention of winning.
That's it.
That's it.
Listen to one of his interviews.
Mike Tyson says he wasn'tlooking at this guy's jaw.
He wasn't looking at this guy'sjaw.
He wasn't looking at theindividual.

(09:26):
Mike Tyson was looking throughthe individual and his punches
proved just that.
Boom.
Come on, guys.
I said it before the electionstarted.
I said it in the previousepisode before.

(09:49):
You know, stop chasing therhetoric.
If you wanted to win this, youneed to concentrate on what you
need to do to win it, and youdidn't do that.
You know what I mean.

(10:12):
So I just wanted to say thatand get that out.
Whether he accomplishes what hesaid he's gonna do, I failed to
believe that the goal was to getinto office and that was
accomplished.
Will he accomplish anything?
Well, he may just accomplish afew things.
You know.

(10:34):
He may just accomplish a fewthings, but in any event, the
Republicans are satisfied.
A lot of things will go theirway and the rest is history.
The rest is history.

(10:54):
The next time you go into thering, my suggestion is if you
want to win, whether you're aRepublican or a Democrat, if you
want to win, get in there withthe intent to win and be serious
about what you're doing andthink about what is needed to

(11:14):
win, because you clearly, clearly was not doing that and
it was just so obvious and Ifelt so sad for the Democrats
during the race.
Anyway, this is where we'regoing to put an end to this

(11:34):
episode and it is what it is.
You know what I mean.
We lost the World Series.
We lost a few things, but youknow what it's not the end of
the world series.
We lost a few things, but youknow what it's not the end of
the world.
Stay focused, guys, and do whatyou do and whatever it is that

(11:58):
you do, do it to the best ofyour ability.
No half stepping.
This is your pod host, og GOAT,and I'm out.
