Kim is an idea person. She is a practicing SLP and began her career working for private practices that she didn't quite believe in. She felt she could do it better, took business classes at night, and opened her first business- a private, pediatric speech and occupational therapy clinic- in 2012. By 2013, she had opened her second business- The Flourish Center in Columbus, Ohio- to bring a new model of therapy to her area. The Flourish Center housed related professionals with her therapy team and became a warm, one-stop shop to help children with all abilities.
Both businesses took off and she decided to sell both businesses at it's height with 26 employees. She thought she would retire and travel and homeschool her kids... but her ideas got the best of her. She has ideas for lifetimes and loved the admin side of owning a practice so much, that she is now a solopreneur of her next business, Hatched Consulting (hatchedconsult.com). She now helps heart-centered businesses with startups, pivots and refreshes to scratch her "idea itch."
