Melissa is a Gold Star Wife, losing her husband to cancer believed and proven to have been an effect from the chemicals he was around while he was serving in the US ARMY. She shares the trials and obstacles since losing her husband just over a year ago. She is an advocate for our Military and First Responder members, and believes her story can and will be the start to changing the system that is the VA.
