On today's episode, I look at all the folks creating buzz in the supporting categories. These might be the most unpredictable races so it's really fun to dig into who is sitting where and getting what! I also recount who has won recognition from the National Board of Review, the NY Film Critics Circle, and the Gotham Awards.
On today's episode, we look at the race for Best Actress and Best Actor. While there are certainly a few actors who are already locks, there are others who will emerge more clearly as the critics' awards announce their nominees and winners. Who will make the top 5? I try and answer that while also talking about those who are right there in the mix.
On today's episode, I talk about which Directors seem to be "sure things," which Directors are making waves, and which ones are towards the back of the pack, but after next month's critics' awards start rolling in, could ascend to a higher placement.
