So even though this is not a music broadcast, the Word this week is Grammys and the crew is back to break down the historic event. Cody, Bree Specific, and Chris L. are joined by friend of the show, Dometi Pongo from MTV to break down the most noteworthy moments of Grammy night. We start with Doechii’s performance and Best Rap Album win to Babyface giving us the new mantra of 2025. Of course we get into Kendrick Lamar’s clean sweep, Kanye crashing the red carpet, and the Bee Hive celebrating Cowboy Carter.
The What’s the Word crew closes out the show discussing Tiffany Henyard, the Popeyes x Dom Julio collab, the spike in plane crashes and Artists to Watch.
