Kerry Carithers serves as the Executive Director at Mentor Me North Georgia, INC. Mentor Me North Georgia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving children and youth with community based mentoring programs since 2002. Kerry graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science majoring in Health Promotion.
A 23-year veteran of serving the mission for nonprofits, she has extensive background in nonprofit business operations, fiscal management, grant writing, program development, board recruitment, philanthropic fundraising, volunteerism, special event planning, and cultivating community partnerships.
Her passion lies within strengthening the foundation of the community in which she serves and finding every opportunity to connect the underserved with necessary resources. She has received recognition for professional of the year in membership engagement, web development design, and Business Award of Excellence- Community Impact with the Forsyth County Chamber.
Kerry has been a part of the Forsyth County community since 2001. A graduate of Leadership Forsyth class of 2016, a member of the Parent and Community Business School Advisory Council, the Forsyth County Nonprofit Roundtable, the Forsyth County College and Career Workforce Council, the Forsyth County Community Connection Collaborative Council, the Forsyth County Local Interagency Planning Team, and a member of the Forsyth County Rotary Club.
In her spare time Kerry enjoys spending quality time with her family & friends, exercising, cooking & watching the Food Network channel, beach trips to St Augustine, UGA football games
