The Importance of Mentoring

In this latest episode I discuss The Importance of Mentoring, a subject that is very important to me personally. To help me with this episode it seemed quite appropriate to interview my long-time mentor Mike Kirk, so please join us as we tackle some of the following topics:

• Why is mentoring important both for the mentor and the mentee?

• What qualities make a great mentor?

• What role do organizations have in fostering a culture of mentoring?

• How will mentoring take place with the advent of AI and remote working? 

Along with these topics I discuss some important lessons I learned from select mentors I’ve had throughout my career of twenty-nine years.
