Karen Roberts is the founder of Envision Life, a 501 c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to help individuals envision yourself beyond your illness and it is a support group for people diagnosed with any form of cancer, for their caregivers and for survivors. She is an 8-year breast cancer survivor who underwent a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. She is an advanced nurse practitioner working in rehab medicine. Her husband, Kirk Roberts, is a Chicago fire-fighter with 20 years seniority in the game of placing his life at risk in order to save others.
This high-powered married duo loves the Lord and appreciates the many moments in their lives where medicine met their ministry.
