This week, I'm sitting down with Starr Anderson, the woman who taught me to love studying the scriptures. Starr shares some personal experiences that will change how you approach your own scripture study and relationship with the Savior.
Through tears and testimony, Starr opens up about a pivotal moment in college when her father left the faith, and how that experience became a catalyst for her lifelong commitment to finding the Savior in the scriptures.
She takes us through her favorite scripture stories from the Book of Ether in the Book of Mormon and John chapters 20-21 in the New Testament.
Listen in and learn more about these 3 takeaways:
If you sometimes struggles with mundane scripture study, feel like you're missing out, or just need encouragement to keep showing up, this episode is for you.
I know it's a longer episode but, trust me, it will be time well spent. Plus, you'll hear some of Starr's best advice for teaching your kids how to trust in the Lord.
Are you enjoying Where We Gather? I would so appreciate it if you would leave a rating and review. I try not to worry about algorithms but reviews really do help this podcast be found by the woman who could use these messages.
