Honesty is a necessary ingredient for healing from past traumas, mainly honesty with yourself. If other people become disagreeable because you are learning to understand your self better, do you prefer to fit in and comply with societal norms or are you prepared to sacrifice those things for clarity about who you are and what the actual purpose of your life is?
