We follow the Avengers as the finish the massive space battle and return to Earth to find it taken over by Thanos and the Black Order. The Avengers and the Illuminati each take the fight on their respective battlefields, as they try to not only save Earth but stop the massive threat of the Incursions. All while Thanos tries to kill one of his many sons spread across the galaxy. The event ends with our heroes victorious, but only for a short time, as they realize the Incursion threat hasn't even truly begun.
Our next Road to Secret Wars episode will pick right back up with these Hickman issues that set the stage for the major Secret Wars event!
