Join us as we unveil the blessings promised to those who venture into the study of Revelation. Along the way, we'll marvel at how Jesus fulfilled more than 324 of the known 1800 prophecies found in the Bible. At the heart of this journey is an assurance that, despite the world's trajectory, God is victorious, Christ is triumphant, and righteousness is inevitable.

In the second part of our discussion, we confront the rapture's timing head-on, sifting through evidence in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Matthew 7:21, and Revelation 12:6. As we ponder the enigma of Christ's Second Coming and the role of the rapture, we'll share the comforting notion of Jesus preparing a heavenly place for us. Moreover, we will expose the church's divine protection from God's wrath. Rounding off this enlightening discourse, we dive into the concept of the Millennium and the eternal state, exploring its implications for believers and non-believers alike. We conclude with a hopeful vision of the new earth and heaven, where believers will reign with Jesus for eternity.

Aaron O'Connell (00:03):
Revelation is the only book in the Bible that
promises blessings to those whostudy it and take it to heart.
And that's what my heart is forall my listeners To have
blessings, to be able to bestressless, to have more peace.
God is in control, no matterwhat is happening.

(00:27):
You know how it ends, so let'stake joy.
Welcome to the WHY to FitnessPodcast.
I'm your host, aaron O'Connell, and today we are talking about
the book of revelations.
One may wonder why I'm bringingup revelations, and there may
be no wonder other people, giventhe all the events that are

(00:50):
going on the world.
People are looking aroundsaying, wow, the end must be
near all these things.
But the reason, the main reasonI'm doing it is because
revelations is the only book inthe Bible that promises
blessings to those who study itand take it to heart.
And that's what my heart is forall my listeners To have

(01:14):
blessings, to be able to bestressless, to have more peace.
And I truly believe when youstart diving into revelations,
you will end up having morepeace, because then you know how
the ending ends, there's noneed to worry, you become secure
, and that's what I wanteveryone to feel A lot of times

(01:39):
when people start going throughrevelations, they read right off
the beginning these things aregoing to happen soon and they
take that as like oh, wow, it'sgoing to be around the corner.
It's going to be around thecorner.
And through that a lot ofdifferent people have said well,
they've been saying that eversince Jesus's time, so it's not
even going to happen.
Revelations isn't real.

(02:00):
Or they always attribute it tooh, it's going to be in my
lifetime, it's going to happensoon.
But if we really look into thatword soon, the word is in taxi
and what that means is quicklyor speedily.
It's almost like a tachometer.
A tachometer isn't measuringyour speed, of how fast you're

(02:21):
going, it's how fast somethingis moving.
It's quickly, it's speedily.
So I really want to just dive inand start analyzing revelations
.
It's important because, as thechurch, we need to warn people

(02:41):
of what's coming around.
So even if they don't take yourwarnings, if you plant seeds,
I'm bringing your testimony tothem.
You're trying to give God tothem, you're preaching the
gospel to them, yet they don'tlisten.
Maybe when you're gone, whenyou've been raptured, they will

(03:02):
remember the things that yousaid and then they won't go
amongst all those that get lost.
But they may be one of thetribulation saints that still
will make it into heaven, andthat's what my goal is for
everybody is for as many peopleto make it into the kingdom of
God, so let's just dive in.

(03:26):
So first off, we need to look athow many prophecies there
really are in the Bible, andthere's roughly about 1,800
prophecies, and all of thesereally are in the future.
Most of them are in the futureof the prophecies, but it's
crazy because every prophecy ofthe past that went up to Jesus

(03:49):
has been fulfilled to the letter, zero errors.
Jesus alone fulfilled more than324 individual prophecies found
in the Old Testament.
The chance of a single manfulfilling just 48 of those
prophecies found in the OldTestament would be 10, falling

(04:12):
by 157 zeros.
It's crazy.
So just imagine 324.
All that just to say that youcan rely on the Bible and its
prophecies to come true.
Even if you said these thingsmust take place, revelations

(04:32):
isn't just some cryptic,symbolic thing.
No, these things are gonna takeplace.
Most people think the book ofRevelation is the place to study
future end times and events, but in reality, much of what's
in the book of Revelation wasactually already prophesied in
the Old Testament through Daniel, isaiah, ezekiel, all through

(04:53):
it.
A study of those two OldTestament end-time prophecies
will add clarity to the study ofRevelation.
So if you want to get the mostunderstanding of end times,
studying the book of Revelations, you need to dive into those
Old Testament prophecies as well, because they're very important
.
When we're studying thoseend-time prophecies, we'll see

(05:16):
that God wins, christ triumphsand righteousness prevails,
which means Satan loses, sorrow, sickness, death disappear.
New heaven and earth which whenit says new heaven doesn't mean
the heaven that's currentlyGod's residing place is gonna be
going away.
No, it's sky and space, becausethere's three heavens mentioned

(05:40):
.
First heaven is where the birdsfly, the second heavens are
where the space is and then thethird heaven where John, when he
was writing Revelation, says Iwas caught up into the third
heaven.
So that third heaven won't bedisappearing, but the earth and
the universe as we know it willgo away and emerge from those
ashes of the old.
God will establish that newheaven and earth.

(06:03):
God wipes away the tears fromevery eye.
Just how beautiful is that.
So let's start going through thenext level of events because,
as right now we know, the worldis gonna continue in a downward
spiral and becoming more like itwas in the times of Noah and

(06:23):
the Sodom of Gomorrah andGomorrah.
We see this happening on adaily basis and it seems to be
escalating faster and fasterpace.
Look at the world in Israelright now.
Look at all the racism, look atall the nasty things that are
going on.
People are being lovers ofthemself.
Right seems wrong and wrongseems right.
There's so much worse going onand I'm sorry to burst your

(06:45):
bubble.
Things are not gonna get better.
This world is not gonna getbetter.
Things are gonna get worse.
That doesn't mean stop praying, but I want you to understand
that things are gonna be in adownward spiral until the
rapture of the church.

(07:06):
A lot of people there's a lot ofdebate about the rapture of the
church and whether it's gonnabe before the tribulation or
past tribulation, so I'm gonnadive in just a little bit to why
I believe and truly would bankon it.
Have a hundred percent faiththat the church will be raptured
beforehand.
1 Thessalonians 413-18 is oneof those verses that says those

(07:29):
that accepted Christ as theirSavior, since the time of Christ
will suddenly be taken To bewith Christ.
Christ will return for thechurch in the clouds, not
stepping on foot on earth.
He didn't return yet.
He will call forth first thebodies of those who believed in
Christ and have died, followedby those believers on earth that
have yet to die.
They will be taken to heavenwith Him.

(07:50):
All unbelievers and those thatsay they are believers, who
really are true and committedbelievers, will be up there, but
those that are not true andcommitted will be left behind.
There will be many that saythey are believers but never
really commit to and give intheir life to Christ.
This is Matthew 721, sayingLord, lord, I've done all these

(08:11):
things, so it's so important todedicate your life to Christ.
But a lot of people argue oh no, no, we could be going through
the tribulation times right now.
The rapture isn't actuallygonna happen.
It doesn't explicitly say it,but here I'm just gonna offer
some the evidence that I believethat points to the rapture.

(08:35):
When the elders that John seeswhen he gets called up into
heaven, they're wearing crowns, they received physical bodies,
they're robed in white and dwellin heaven with God before the
tribulation, before that starts.
This is the church, this is youand me.

(08:57):
This is Christians.
These aren't the Old Testamentsaints or those that die in the
tribulation because they don'tget their bodies until after the
tribulation.
And the church has promisedthat we get our robes, that we
get crowns.
This is the church.

(09:18):
Another point that I'd like tomake is that the timing of his
second coming is unknown to us.
This is through Matthew 22, 44,25, 13, mark 13, 32, 33, luke
12, 40.
It's unknown to us.
If the rapture happens afterthe tribulation, then the time

(09:43):
would be known to us, becausethe Bible presents a day we
can't know.
It says Jesus will return inunknown time, but in Revelation
12, 6 says that the Jews willhave to wait 1260 days for the
Lord to return.
The 1260 days begins when theAntichrist stands in the temple

(10:04):
and declares himself to be God.
This event will take place atthe midpoint of the seven-year
tribulation.
The Antichrist has authority torule for 42 months, which is
that 1260 days, and then we'llbe destroyed by Jesus at his
second coming.
The known in the unknown daysmust happen at different times
because they're different events.

(10:25):
The rapture is when we don'tknow it's gonna come.
It's like a thief of the night.
So we need to be prepared.
We need to be prepared for whenthe bridegroom comes back for
his bride.
Jesus gives all these parablesfor that.
But if the rapture isafterwards, we'll know.

(10:50):
We'll see what people will know, because when Jesus returns at
his second coming, he willreturn from a wedding.
He was returning from thewedding.
This is Luke 12, 36.
At the rapture Jesus is marriedto his bride, the church, the

(11:11):
Christians.
Then, after the wedding, hewill then return to earth and
that's when he sets up theMillennial Kingdom, which is
that great long party.
Also, jesus said he wouldprepare a place for the church
in heaven.
Then he would come again toreceive us to himself.

(11:34):
Why would Jesus prepare a placefor us in heaven and then not
take us there?
Because at the rapture he willcome to receive us to himself.
That's where I am heaven, thereyou may be.
Also, if the rapture occurredat the same time as the second
coming of Christ, we would go upto the clouds and then

(11:55):
immediately come right back downto earth for the Millennial
Kingdom.
It contradicts John 14, 2through 3.
And these are just some of thereasons why I truly believe that
the rapture is going to bebeforehand.
Also, revelations 3.10 says wewill be kept out of the hour of

(12:17):
testing which will come upon thewhole earth.
We will be protected from theLord's wrath.
The Lord's wrath is thetribulation when the bowls and
the scrolls are being poured out, and it says right there in 11,
revelations 3.10, that thechurch will be protected, will

(12:39):
be kept from the hour of testing.
But I don't want to exhaustthat too much.
That's why we need to beprepared, because if we are true
Christians, we're gonnadisappear and then the, the
testing happens.
The horrible atrocities thatare happening right now on earth
are gonna seem like child'splay, because when the rapture

(13:03):
happens, that's when the, whenthe Holy Spirit then will be
removed from the earth.
The Holy Spirit is God.
He is an active person whoactively a convicts us of our
need for a Savior because of oursinfulness.
He doesn't give up on us untilat the end that rapture.

(13:25):
In other words, a person cansay no to the Holy Spirit Not
too many times.
Then boom, it's too late.
He doesn't give up, he's gonnakeep on calling.
I recommend you to chase that.
Then, as the rapture happens, itdoesn't know exactly when the
seven-year tribulation, whetherit be right after the rapture or

(13:48):
when the exact starting pointhappens, but after that the
seven-year tribulation begins.
And let me just put a caveatthat I failed to mention in the
very beginning of this podcast.
Throughout the whole Bible, especially when interpreting
prophecy, if it's symbolic, it'sgonna tell you that it's

(14:11):
symbolic.
It will tell you what itsymbolizes.
You'll see it all throughrevelation.
You'll see it all through allthe prophecy, through Isaiah,
ezekiel, daniel.
But if not, we are to take itliterally.
The seven-year tribulation is aseven-year time and in that
seven-year time is divided intotwo parts Two, three and a half

(14:35):
periods.
Because during the first threeand a half year period Satan
will be the deceiver and willsign a peace agreement with
Israel.
At the same time there'll betwo Old Testament prophets that
will be testified day and nightin Jerusalem, testifying to
Christ and drawing people toChrist.
Remember, this was the role ofthe Holy Spirit before being

(14:58):
removed from earth.
There's gonna be people tryingto kill these two prophets, but
they won't be killed at thattime.
But after the three and a halfyears they'll be killed but
almost in immediatelyresurrected and returned to
heaven.
But I gotta say something thesetwo prophets, it doesn't

(15:22):
mention who they are, butthere's a point to who they are
and that's pointed to thetransfiguration.
When Jesus was transfigured andall of a sudden, boom.

(15:44):
They wanted to build sheltersfor the two people that came up.
Who are those two people?
Moses and Elijah?
My guess is that Moses andElijah are gonna be those two
prophets.

(16:04):
But let's continue.
At the end of the seven-yeartribulation, but also during
those seven-year tribulations, this is when the bowls are gonna
be poured out.
This is when the scrolls aregonna be opened and it's just
gonna be all hell.
This is when there's gonna bethe disease.
This is when thirds of peopleare gonna be dying.
This is all those types ofthings.

(16:25):
But at the end of theseven-year tribulation, there's
gonna be an all-out war thatSatan will bring about.
Christ then is gonna return toearth and just speaks to defeat
Satan and his dominion and justlike that, the war is gonna be
over and all non-believers thatare still alive will join all
unbelievers to await their finaljudgment.

(16:46):
In place that have died, wherethey'll be weeping and gnashing
of taste.
They'll be waiting for thatfinal judgment.
It's gonna be in that stormplace of Hades.
The only ones left on earth arethose that put their trust in
Jesus Christ during thetribulation and survived the
massacre of Satan, because therewill be a lot of people, a lot

(17:10):
of people that didn't getraptured but then put their
faith into Christ.
But they're gonna be beheaded, they're gonna be tortured.
There's gonna be so many crazythings going on, but there's
gonna be a when those people die.
They don't get theirinstantanies, get their bodies.
Those are the ones that arereferred to being under the
altar, the souls underneath thealtar, and revelations.

(17:32):
But there's gonna be peoplethat didn't die during the
tribulation, that still believedin Christ.
They will survive.
And then, at that point, afterthat Satan, at the end of it,
when Satan is defeated, he'll bebound up for a thousand years,

(17:55):
referred to as the MillennialKingdom, and all believers in
heaven will return to earth andalong with those that survived
the tribulation and will reignon earth with Jesus for a
thousand years.
So who's all gonna be there?
Those that died, the OldTestament, saints, the church
that was raptured, those thatdied in the tribulation all of

(18:19):
us will receive our eternalbodies, our new bodies, but
we're also gonna be livingamongst those that put their
faith in Christ and were truebelievers in the tribulation.
So we're gonna be marriedtogether, put together, but

(18:40):
those that actually didn't diebut are true Christians.
They're gonna still allowed tobe marrying.
They're gonna still be allowingto have kids, but those that
are in heaven and those havebeen raptured.
We're gonna be more like theangels.
We won't be given away.
We won't be able to reproduce.

(19:01):
So during these thousand years, people will be born just like
they are today.
They'll be born with a sinnature and also, just like today
many are gonna read, rejectChrist.
How that's possible, as Jesusis ruling and all that stuff.
Well, remember that Satan isbound up, but not as demons that

(19:21):
served him.
They're gonna continue todeceive people, causing people
to reject Christ.
So there's gonna be these kidsbeing born and this is when
where it speaks of kids thatpeople can being a hundred years
old is gonna be consideredyoung.
So there's gonna be a lot ofpeople being born during this
time, because Tiger is gonna beable to lay down with, with

(19:45):
rabbit.
You know there's gonna be a lot, far less sin going on, but
it's still gonna have a lot ofpeople being deceived and at the
end of the thousand years, there's gonna be a final battle
where Jesus is gonna come outvictorious with just a single
command.

(20:07):
But those thousand years is veryimportant for a number of
reasons it allows God's promisesto Israel to be fulfilled on
earth, it rewards those who havebeen faithful during the
tribulation, it allows justice, peace and righteousness to fill
the earth, it allows Christ toreign on the throne of David and
it prepares for the finaljudgment of Satan.
But the millennium is notheaven, it's not the end.

(20:29):
It's only a foretaste of theglories that will last forever
in the eternal state, becausethen at the end of that
millennium, like I said, there'sgonna be that last hurrah where
the devil gets released and hethen goes and gathers all the
rest of the people and then getsdefeated and that's where he

(20:52):
then gets tossed in the lake offire with all of the other
non-believers, all that havedied, all that are there, that
are going on, and they will bethere forever, forever, being
tortured.
Because that comes when thejudgment, where all those
non-believers from the beginningof time will stand before God
and be judged for the rejectionof Christ and then sentenced to

(21:13):
eternity in hell.
Also, at that time, allbelievers from the beginning of
time, from beginning of time, the Old Testament believers New
Testament, the church, thepeople that died during the
tribulation, those that didn'tdie during the tribulation.

(21:34):
Everybody will be judged andrewarded according to what they
did, what we've done for othersand for Christ.
There's gonna be levels.
There's gonna be.

(21:56):
We're gonna have differentnations.
We're gonna not all look thesame.
We're gonna have differentroles.
That's why it's so important tobe just going all 100% for
Christ, to not be lost in thepatterns of this world, but
instead be constantly seekingGod how you can further the
kingdom of God, because when allof that is finished, then

(22:20):
Christ is gonna replace the oldearth and the heavens which sky
and space with the new earth andheavens, where the new
Jerusalem will be establishedand all believers from the
beginning of time will thenreign with Jesus for eternity in
that new earth and heaven.

(22:41):
I don't know about you, but thatjust sounds amazing that I
don't have to go through thattribulation, that I'll be
raptured and protected from allof that.
That's only if you give 100%,make Lord 100% of all of your
life, all of your life, which iswhat I want for everybody today

gonna be worse, and they justconstantly are stressing.
