Marci Brockmann is a highly educated, multi-passionate woman and the founder of Marci Brockmann International. Using the knowledge from her own healing journey, she became an author, a podcaster, an artist, and had been a high school English teacher for 27 years.
As an emotional abuse survivor, journal writing is what saved her and she has been writing expressively in journals for 35 years and this became the basis of her two books: Permission to Land: Searching for Love, Home & Belonging and Permission to Land: Personal Transformation Through Writing. Marci is a painter with her own online art gallery and she hosts a YouTube channel and a blog, both called What’s up, Marci?
In November 2020, she began her highly lauded podcast Permission to Heal which is available on all major podcast listening platforms. She has been a contributing writer for Elephant Journal, FairyGodBoss, Thrive Global, and Medium and she has been featured on ‘IdeaMensch and in Authority Magazine.
All of this is a direct outgrowth of Marci Brockmann’s concept of giving ourselves permission to be our authentic selves, to be relentlessly self-compassionate, to focus on our dreams and to heal ourselves and build the rich, abundant life we deserve. She lives in New York with her husband, their grown kids, frisky cats, and many fish.
