Ed Koch was the semi-beloved mayor of New York City from 1977 to 1989. I say semi-beloved because NYC's gay community didn't appreciate how he, as a closeted gay man, was doing the bare minimum when it came to the AIDS pandemic.

Don't do meth. Don't do meth. You know meth? Don't do it.I don't care if Mackenzie the coolest girl in school who says you can be in one of her incredibly popular Tik-Toks, maybe even one of the makeup tutorial ones, asks you to do it, don't do meth. I don't care if your trainer says it's "actual...

Happy Pride. If you don't know about Harvey Milk, now you will. Oh, and your host gets kinda angry, a little sappy and pathetic but pretty real. Stick around for when he defends the trans community by denigrating Harry Potter. I love June.

You've heard the story before. A maybe queer pair of whiz kid killers trying to see if they can get away with the perfect crime. They didn't.

I saw this A24 horror flick the other night, and one scene scared the stuffing out of me. Naturally, I had to discuss it and spoil everything for you. *shrug*

Pier Paolo Pasolini was a poet, novelist, filmmaker, and one of Italy's most celebrated (and most controversial) figures. He was murdered by a teenage hustler in 1975. Or was he? Well, the murder part happened, but was it committed by the Freemasons? The Catholic Church? The Mafia? The Italian government? Pasolini had a lot of ant...

Father Frank was loved by his congregation, and known for his generosity and supportive nature. But he had his secrets.
One of them, his increasingly uneasy relationship with an odd, makeshift "family" in his congregation, might have gotten him killed.

Larry Eyler was a little-remembered serial killer who took the lives of many young men in Illinois and Indiana in the early 1980s. Think John Wayne Gacy but with less infamy. This is his gruesome story,

AAAAARRRRSSHRIRIEKKFK - try to yell that loudly over a chainsaw in use and microphone feedback. That's basically what black metal sounds like. It was big in Norway in the 90s. What was also big then was black metal musicians and their fans burning down churches and murdering people. Happy Halloween!

There's the almost birthday girl. SHRIEK. Nicolas Cage is doing a lot in this movie, and you'll love it. Hail Satan, lots of coded devil speak, creepy-ass dolls, family annihilation, and the worst plastic surgery since Madge went overboard on the fillers. It's Longlegs!

Herb Baumeister was one weird dude. All he wanted for Christmas was peanut M&Ms, world peace, and to strangle a whole bunch of gay men in the early 90s. What an ###hole.

It's Wicked Gay's 50th episode! A little bit of this episode is about a demonic hairdresser who was doing evil things with damaged condoms and is now moldering in jail where he should be. But there's also a cautionary tale from yours truly about why you need to be careful on dating apps. Listen well, children.

Ed Buck was a millionaire, a political donor and activist, and he was darn nice to golden retrievers. He also had a fetish that involved murdering the underprivileged. Just because they're good to dogs doesn't mean they're good to people.

You know Dune? Yeah - desert and big worms and Timothee and Z and space nuns. The latest movie is rad, so I thought I'd do a Wicked Gay Pop Whatever about all things Dune! Now pass me some spice melange and let's get started.

It's another pop culture episode where I get into some tv shenanigans. Here's FX's A Murder at the End of the World. Gen Z's Sherlock Holmes has pink hair, she can hack like a saw (I mean computer-wise), and she wins a free trip to Iceland! Chaos ensues.

Ernst Rohm was one of Hitler's besties and had a hand in the creation of the Third Reich. He was also gay. I can't reconcile the two either, but I was raised to believe that all gay people are pious do-gooders. Therefore, a gay Nazi is just insane to me. (Some of that is sarcasm.)
