Episode 42: The Curse of the Werewolf of Allariz

In 19th-century Galicia, Spain, a small, soft-spoken tailor named Manuel Blanco Romasanta offered to guide people through the mountains of Spain. Many of whom, did not return and were never heard from again. Manuel later confessed to murdering at least nine people, mostly women and children. When captured, he claimed he was cursed to become a wolf, doomed to kill and feed on human flesh during his transformations. Some called him mad, others believed him truly cursed. Though sentenced to death, his execution was mysteriously halted for scientific study — and his final fate remains uncertain. Some records say he died in prison. Others say the Wolf of Allariz still roams the Galician woods, forever hunting beneath the moon.
